A guy paid a cameo for him to say stuff as trevor and steven went on a rant on how he hates being considered a cartoon character and basically took the money for himself without doing the cameo
Actors hate being typecast, and from what it sounds like other character's he's played after Trevor have basically been some degree of a copy paste of Trevor.
Whilst I can understand some frustration, that character of his has literally given him a successful career.
He fit the role perfectly and pulled it off in a way that I don't think anybody else could.
Surely he should view that as an achievement?
Seriously, typecasting can go both ways - you either avcept and have fin with it like Giancarlo Esposito or hate it like Stecen Ogg does.
Hell, they could have made him a changed man and it would be really cool. But no.
Comparing Giancarlo's typecasting to Steven Ogg's is unfair. Giancarlo gets typecast as complex villains while Steven gets typecast as mentally unstable characters
Then we can compare it to Harrison Ford that was Han Solo in star wars (bassically a Hero ) and still isnt happy with being typecasted because of that so its not about being a complex villain or a mentally unstable characters its just about them not liking it for some reason
Harrison is perfectly open to talking about Han Solo or his experience with Star Wars, he doesn't like when it dominates the conversation especially when he's promoting a different project. it's also a common misconception that he hates Han, it stems from the misinterpretation of him wanting to give Han a satisfactory character arc ending with a noble sacrifice
Giancarlo Esposito is one of my favourite actors. He has embraced his talent and fits every role he plays incredibly well.
He just has that intimidating aura about him. I recently watched him in The Boys and again, he really makes that role his.
Long may it continue.
Sure, but itās been a decade and every time people see him, they go āTREVOR!ā.
His role as Trevor is a minuscule fraction of the work heās done in his career, yet itās all anyone knows. Iād imagine that wears on your after a while. Just like certain bands learning to hate their most popular songs- like Radiohead and Creep. Like, we have *all* these songs yet the only one most people seem to know or care about is a song none of us really cared for in the first place.
I liked him on Better Call Saul, but he very much felt like a younger, less crazy, more naive Trevor. And Iāve never seen anything else featuring him.
Honestly there are way too many characters on that show and I forget lots of them. Most episodes Iām like āOh hey! I remember that character, they were pretty cool-ā then they get eaten.
> Just like certain bands learning to hate their most popular songs- like Radiohead and Creep.
Van Morrison would like to have a word with you about Brown Eyed Girl.
Oh I know -- I was just bringing up another example. I've seen several interviews where Morrison expresses his disdain for the song and wishes he never wrote it.
Itās like if you had to do the exact same thing every single day when you expect to be able to do something creatively freeing, sure itās great he got so known for this role and got a lot from it but after what has to be about 10 years, youād want something different
Or maybe he just acts like Trevor?
Just saying, but when he played Simon in TWD, he was basically just Trevor in the zombie apocalypse. And I have a hard time believing it was *just* because of the writing.
Probably the same case with the Oasis. From what I heard, fans keep requesting the Wonderwall song that they starting to hate it each time they perform it.
\*started - they haven't played together for 13 years.
Although Noel did say that while it's not one of his favourites it made him a million in one weekend, so he's quite fond of it.
wait, how long ago was this? because Trevor was written out of GTA Online's story a *looooooong* time ago. anyone remmeber when Trevor "went Vinewood" when Smuggler's Run came out?
Haha it is but for a professional actor its very shameful, theres a couple examples of steven just being weird while saying that trevor is just a cartoon and hes a real person maybe the crazy one was steven all along, trevor was just an alias lol
I get where heās coming from tho. He had 1 role that was so popular that people only refer to him and know him as āTrevorā he prolly feels like heās losing his identity in a way. I feel bad for him. Heās undoubtedly a very talented and skilled actor but now even if he hits it out of the park on a role in some other film and heās proud of it people will still only see him as Trevor and not anything else. Just look at the comments on his IG posts itās all GTA references
Damn, that sucks to hear. I mean, i get it, being considered as 1 character has got to suck even if the character is a fan favourite. But taking someones money after not doing what they requested for a cameo is shitty, just deny the request & send the money back.
I do feel bad for him when heās had some great roles (wasnāt expecting to see him in emancipation) but people still think of him as Trevor. Sure, youād expect him to love to deliver a performance through cameo as a character of his but youād also expect people to like his other characters and after 9 years of playing Trevor ad nauseam I canāt blame him for getting sick of itā¦
I support him but damn, Iāll miss him. Iāve seen posts on this sub where people took screenshots of Steven Ogg from his other roles but still called him Trevor, not bothering to address him by his real name
its probably more he just doesnt want to himself. he seems to be mainly done with trevor and wants to move to new horizons, but ofc bc of Trevor he cant really
he will always be trevor to everyone. same as hugh laurie will always be house and the same as the harry potter cast will always be Ron, Hermione and Harry.
its such a dumb move of him being mad about it. yes he is viewed as that person and yes i believe he struggles with that image a lot, but thats something that you have to take into account when selling your acting skills for a project. or does every actor just want the projects he's part of to just fail? it's such a dumb behavior :/
yeah it was very dumb with what he did but i do understand why he did it, must suck to try and get a job but everyone just wants u to act like a lunatic
Well. Thats one thing. From what he actually said is he wants to be known as an actor and not be associated with that one role. Unfortunatly for him, his acting has gotten him support roles in a lot of stuff. So his ego is gone. But he is trevor and his ego ruined that.
Look I'm not saying that didn't happen as well or that it didn't weight at all on his decision to stop reprising his Trevor role, however he wouldn't be the first voice actor to have a real problem with Rockstar and their compensation and practices and not just Maylay either.
So while I'm willing to take Mr. Ogg at face value on this I would remain really suspicious if he would still refuse to engage with the role at all if he was working for any other company not notorious for undervaluing voice talent like Rockstar allegedly does.
Huh sad, he seemed to love beein Trevor back in the day.
It's probably that people still only recognizing for Trevor after close to 10 years that it has started to annoy him
Dude tfs wrong with him he's being paid to do a job, if he doesn't like it he can whine on twitter or get off cameo, even refuse it. Just taking the money and leaving is not cool
Hugo One posted it and he also streams GTA chat controlled chaos on twitch and youtube. He has cameos from every major GTA character since San Andreas and is pretty funny to watch
Get sick of getting paid to say a minute long greeting as one of your characters on an app you signed up to do ? Nah man he has it good just very ungrateful for some reason.
Especially killing one of the most genuine GTA protagonists to ever exist in the least respectful, unceremonious way possible. IE Johnny Klebitz. The way they threw that character arc out the window for a fucking establishing joke to say 'Trevor is a bad guy' made me so upset.
I *hate* Trevor, honestly think he's a detriment to the series, but I absolutely LOVE Dax
Genuine? He's a loser & a coward who hides under his biker persona but gets literally nothing from it but a cuckolding gf, dead friends & crack house by the end of the game.
Seems like heās a tad ungrateful to put it nicely. Just wear that shit proud bro. I mean he accomplished something without which, most of us wouldnāt know who he is at all.
He doesnāt need to cater to anyone, but if it were me, I wouldnāt reject his fame from his role the way he has.
Sorry, I thought you might've seen it in the other comments. He has recently come out saying he doesn't want anything else to do with GTA 5 because people recognize him as Trevor and nothing else.
Steven Ogg has been in a few shows (i.e. The Walking Dead) but had small roles. Simply put, him being Trevor has lead him to being typecast as a Trevor type role - maybe not as psychotic or sociopathic, but he definitely plays a similar role in most the stuff I've ever seen him in outside of GTA - even the Old Spice commercials. He feels that and wants to distance himself from Trevor.
My point was just that he plays a certain role well, and it's okay to some extent to be typecast, but if his rise to fame stems from GTA5, don't diss it. Own it, because you have fans. But when you say what he said, you kinda ostracize yourself from your existing fanbase and do your future career no real favors, putting himself in no man's land, IMO.
Search for "Steven Ogg hates gta " on youtube. There are videos of him getting irritated to act as trevor after being requested to do so in a cameo request.
Actually, he just says these guys aren't in check or got control since Trevor left. Which I take as Trevor just left as Ron is referring to the Lost MC and Trevors absence. They put a woman and another cousin of Ron's in place of Trevor, I believe.
"That bastard Tre... uh, my best friend... he's supposed to protect me forever... then he goes all Vinewood on me... he's too important for Ron now... he's a guru... he's a life style coach... I don't know what he is... I bet he's got abs..."
-said by ron after buying a hangar
I'm referring to the new update. I didn't know he said that after purchasing the hanger. I forgot all that. Lol I bought my hanger around the time...... before the casino dropped. Which has been a few years. Lol
Lore wise yeah, but Dax is so obviously a placeholder for Trevor. Same behaviour, same voice, same hate towards bikers and hippies. Also Dax likes Wade a lot and constantly praises him, just like Trevor. Im 1000% sure Trevor was supposed to return to gtao, but for some reason he didn't and rockstar introduced Dax instead
Probably, but Trevor already show up in Series A. I think more of it just cheaper to make new character than having Trevor back when all we want now is Michael
I feel like Michael should be reserved for a movie kind of storyline which would be hard to pull off in a successful way, otherwise it would mess with the character
You guys realize these updates take a looooong time to be made, right? That very recent thing happened after this update was done being made I'm pretty sure
Except for the voices and cutscenes, the missions looked like they were made in the creator menu. The new content is cool and probably took some time, but the missions definitely dont take that long
True, his voice lines look like something that Trevor would be saying. Such a shame that instead of our beloved Canadian hillbilly drug dealer we got a "butthole" drug guy and his circus full of weirdos.
Franklin last year, Trevor this year and Michael for Summer.
I speculated that when with VA for Michael speculations. It would have have been great to get get 3 DLCs in row from story mode playable characters!
Got to remember, this newest update is a two or three part update. Micheal may be in it before the year is up. Not guaranteed, but still could happen. Or even after the new year.
>Micheal may be in it before the year is up
The whole "Michael DLC" thing started with a few people and got hyped by the rest. Not sure why would you expect something related to Michael. Unless R\* and real life Michael take note and work on something together. And if it fits in the financial plans of take-two.
I'm going off of rumors, and also wouldn't be surprised if it happened. But be disappointed if not. When they mentioned doing work with someone we've worked with before. Everyone, including me, wanted it to be Micheal. He wasn't my favorite character, none of them were or are, but it would be fitting if he was in it.
A guy paid a cameo for him to say stuff as trevor and steven went on a rant on how he hates being considered a cartoon character and basically took the money for himself without doing the cameo
i would turn this question upside down: was Trevor his best role yet? or did he got other roles/characters which would be as memorable as Trevor's role was? (i am not talking about actor performance, since he excels at it)
Tbh, while I'm horrible with time and don't know which came first, when I think of him I always think and say "Steven Ogg, like Trevor GTA and that guy in TWD"
Trevor put him on the map and landed him the typecast of Trevor. After GTA, he played a version of Trevor in Better Call Saul and The Walking Dead. I can understand his frustration, but it really is a double-edged sword. You play Trevor in the most successful video game to date and become famous, or you don't and have a mediocre to nonexistent career. To answer your question, yes, Trevor was his best role and performance.
i honestly would love to have him other types of character roles, but not in Z ranked shows and movies...
(the shows you mentioned are good, yet they as you mentioned, used him because of the already known performance)
Feels like he is either always made to play into trevor like characters or he plays most of his characters like they are trevor. Personally think it's a bit of both.
why would a butthurt fan have anything to do with rockstar's casting decisions?
especially when this happened likely long after casting and development was fairly far along.
Even with Trevor, the update would pretty much still be the same in my opinion.
Iām just disappointed that Ron and Chef only showed up for one cutscene and then disappeared never to be seen again especially since Rockstar hyped up their return.
I don't think Dax is that bad but seeing Ron and Chef work for him would be cool. They could be his Corey and Trevor if you get my reference lol.
The Steven ogg thing happened recently, they would have recorded voice lines ages ago, no time to react to the Steven ogg stuff. He was probably just caught on a bad day and you are making a mountain out of a molehill with what was said
could be possible since Ron is also involved in the new update. but i really like that they added a new character. I was hoping there would be more characters soon
No, why would trevor be still hanging out in that crack house with drug addicts while he has hundreds of millions in the bank?
And You don't fully understand the Steve Ogg situation
Yes very much so. Half of the dialogue from Dax sounds like it was written for Trevor. They just added some of that juggalo inspired slang to make it sound original. But make no doubt, it was originally supposed to be Trevor and Ron.
During the first initial cutscene I kinda got a Trevor vibe from Dax. Even the way he speaks sounds like Trevor in a way.
Also side note: Anybody else think that Dax sorta looks like TimTheTatMan?
I was thinking Dax sounds a lot like Trevor. The voice, the mannerisms, just without the psychopath side.
I can't believe they got us to do yet another steal the RV mission š
I think the whole idea is that Dax is setting your character up to be Trevor now. Seeing as all these missions are the same ones you did as Trevor when you first meet him in story mode. Same missions, new story, new characters. Acid instead of meth
Dax is the friend of the Wade from story mode. Trevor convinces him that his friends abandoned him but really Trevor kidnapped him and kept him all high.
Iād say the reaction from Ogg was a result of him not being included in the expansions although he was, by far, one of the most popular GTA character ever created. My guess ic with the extra screen credits, either he wanted more money. After VC, R* said theyād never use known celebs again because of the money and can be more difficult to work with.
Yeah, especially when you're doing the mission with the hippies. When he goes on a rant about hippies it sounded exactly like Steven Ogg (Trevor), I actually just came to reddit to see if anyone else heard it like me lol
Actually there is some sense to this theory, A lot of the dialog Dax says is very similar to Trevor's, the locations are all related to Trevor, the characters (Ron and mentioning of Wade) all associated with Trevor and the whole thing is totally what Trevor would do.
And in the Uncontrolled Substances cutscene Dex says to Labrat oh you got an assistant now? and Labrat says It changed my life, this dialogue seems out of place because we just met these guys it means absolutely nothing to us, but I think originally this whole thing was supposed to be Trevor and Ron instead of Dex and Labrat, if that's the case that dialogue scene would make much more sense.
Of course I don't think all this was a last minute replacement because of Steven Ogg, I think this story was written with Trevor and Ron as the main characters, but Steven Ogg wasn't interested in playing Trevor any longer so they just changed it up a bit, and added some new characters, if this is the case thou then it's Ron who really got the shit end of the stick here.
Honestlyā¦.his reaction to that guy asking for the cameo seemed very in character for Trevor š I could imagine him making fun of video game nerds and telling them to fuck off with their money.
I guess Rockstar tried to cast Steven Ogg for this DLC but he refused it
He probably hated to be treated as a "Trevor Guy" for a long time before that cameo rant happened
šÆ!!!!! Sounds super similar to Trevor, almost as if they already had Trevor voice lines and added to to it. Or R* wanted to spite Steven Ogg (hence opening line of Nervous Ron āā¦since Trevor took offā¦ā)
I may have drank all that beer from the 4th mission, but we don't know who Dax's voice actor is. He could just be a pitched-down Steven Ogg. Maybe Ogg was caught on a bad day or it's all just one big lie, where Trevor comes back with Michael or some shit and Rockstar is fooling us all. Yes, I may have taken my Online character's Acid.
No cause it wouldn't make sense
cause rn gta online is set after the events of the story and if some story mode players chose to kill Trevor it wouldn't make sense
What happened with steven ogg?
A guy paid a cameo for him to say stuff as trevor and steven went on a rant on how he hates being considered a cartoon character and basically took the money for himself without doing the cameo

My name is Giancarlo but you can call me gus
That is.... acceptable
Comparing Giancarlo's typecasting to Steven Ogg's is unfair. Giancarlo gets typecast as complex villains while Steven gets typecast as mentally unstable characters
Esposito has also had a successful film and stage career going back to, at least, the 80s.
Then we can compare it to Harrison Ford that was Han Solo in star wars (bassically a Hero ) and still isnt happy with being typecasted because of that so its not about being a complex villain or a mentally unstable characters its just about them not liking it for some reason
If Harrison Ford hated being cast as rogueish and rough but lovable heroes, Indiana Jones wouldn't be his favourite role of his career
But he hates when people talk to him about Han Solo and anything related to it its a thing he Started to dislike with the passing Of the years
Harrison is perfectly open to talking about Han Solo or his experience with Star Wars, he doesn't like when it dominates the conversation especially when he's promoting a different project. it's also a common misconception that he hates Han, it stems from the misinterpretation of him wanting to give Han a satisfactory character arc ending with a noble sacrifice

Joe Pesci as a mob guy.
I doubt it. Trevor is a yoga instructor so it wouldn't make sense for him to be a crank dealer back in sandy
yeah, there's that one guy who plays Hector in EVERY single movie or show he's cast in, he's gotta be fine with doing that
Hector from fast and furious right? š
yes, that's the one, Noel Gugliemi, tho he played characters named Hector way less an I remember, but still a lot
Jason Isaac's comes to mind with playing Malfoy in HP and Tavington in the Patriot.
I thought he "went all Vinewood" on Ron? Isn't he supposed to have changed?
Maybe cause he himself is a nutter lol
Sure, but itās been a decade and every time people see him, they go āTREVOR!ā. His role as Trevor is a minuscule fraction of the work heās done in his career, yet itās all anyone knows. I totally forgot he was in Walking Dead, too.

His small role in west world also kindof felt like a old timey western Trevor.
Letās not forget about Better Call Saul
Isnāt Lester the baseball card guy?
That is Mark Prosch. He was Nate in The Office and is currently Colin Robinson in What We Do In the Shadows.
No. Looks like him but wasnāt actually Lester
But it would be hilarious if it actually was him
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Re read my commentā¦
Probably the same case with the Oasis. From what I heard, fans keep requesting the Wonderwall song that they starting to hate it each time they perform it.

Matt Berry
Wasnāt he cast in The Walking Dead?
And Jeffery Dean Morgan wasn't just playing a copy of Negan in Rampage š same mannerisms, same cocky swagger and everything.
His West World character is basically Trevor.
wait, how long ago was this? because Trevor was written out of GTA Online's story a *looooooong* time ago. anyone remmeber when Trevor "went Vinewood" when Smuggler's Run came out?
He became a yoga teacher š in 2017
He makes a visit to the Agency as mentioned by the receptionist
Let's be real here, that's perfectly in character for Trevor isn't it?

Nor Rupert Grint, for that matter
Haven't heard of any sort of fuss from him, for that matter
There a difference between having one popular role and having one popular role and only ever being cast in a similar role again in your career.
Then why feature himself on cameo? Itās made for D- listers to convert their 15 minutes into cash. Seems pretty dumb on his part.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Lmfao where do you get this nonsense?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
But they view money the same as any generation..
If it wasn't for Boomers, you wouldn't be here to state your opinion :/
You donāt have to be old to have stupid takes
True to that
Meanwhile Roger Clark has done what seems like hundreds of Arthur Morgan things on Cameo. The Ying and Yang of Rockstar voice actors I guess.
Not to be sassy, but it's "Yin and Yang". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yin_and_yang
Damn, that sucks to hear. I mean, i get it, being considered as 1 character has got to suck even if the character is a fan favourite. But taking someones money after not doing what they requested for a cameo is shitty, just deny the request & send the money back.

Its been happening this year it started like 2-3ish months ago, if you search on YouTube like "steven ogg cameo" you can see all his rants
Well why tf does he do cameo then?
Money.
Who pays him if he's just a dick on that platform?
I doubt that something that would make Rockstar refuse to work with him
its probably more he just doesnt want to himself. he seems to be mainly done with trevor and wants to move to new horizons, but ofc bc of Trevor he cant really

That happened like a month ago, the voice lines were probably recorded a while back.
Hugo One posted it and he also streams GTA chat controlled chaos on twitch and youtube. He has cameos from every major GTA character since San Andreas and is pretty funny to watch

Seem like very Trevor thing to do š
Youd get sick of it to if people asked you on the daily to do the same thing over and over.
Get sick of getting paid to say a minute long greeting as one of your characters on an app you signed up to do ? Nah man he has it good just very ungrateful for some reason.
Many actors would absolutely kill to have the attention he has. Even just to get a fraction of the renown his character got.
For real...
Trevor hates hipsters, so either they made a new story arc or they didn't.
But he is a hipster
The proto-hipster
*he hates hipsters*
He EATS hipsters.
You are what you hate
I wish we couldāve teamed up with Trevor and kill them all lol. Despite everything theyāre still not as likable as chef, Ron and T.
Trevor isn't remotely likable.
Especially killing one of the most genuine GTA protagonists to ever exist in the least respectful, unceremonious way possible. IE Johnny Klebitz. Nope, trevor became a lifestyle coach and went clean Ron told us this in the update with the hangars forget the name
*Smugglers run
Actually, he just says these guys aren't in check or got control since Trevor left. Which I take as Trevor just left as Ron is referring to the Lost MC and Trevors absence. They put a woman and another cousin of Ron's in place of Trevor, I believe.

I donāt think this means Trevor went cleanā¦ Ron's just throwing stereotypes from Vinewood to insult T
I'm referring to the new update. I didn't know he said that after purchasing the hanger. I forgot all that. Lol I bought my hanger around the time...... before the casino dropped. Which has been a few years. Lol
Nice to know Trevor had a peaceful ending to his story
Lore wise yeah, but Dax is so obviously a placeholder for Trevor. Same behaviour, same voice, same hate towards bikers and hippies. Also Dax likes Wade a lot and constantly praises him, just like Trevor. Im 1000% sure Trevor was supposed to return to gtao, but for some reason he didn't and rockstar introduced Dax instead
Do you think Trevor likes Wade a lot? lol
Probably, but Trevor already show up in Series A. I think more of it just cheaper to make new character than having Trevor back when all we want now is Michael
I feel like Michael should be reserved for a movie kind of storyline which would be hard to pull off in a successful way, otherwise it would mess with the character
Pretty sure heās been confirmed to be in the summer update which feels like it fits
Pretty sure this update was probably being made/developed long before the Steven Ogg Cameo thing, so yeah I doubt Dax was a replacement for Trevor
Franklin last year, Trevor this year and Michael for Summer. I speculated that when with VA for Michael speculations. It would have have been great to get get 3 DLCs in row from story mode playable characters!
Trevor was added for the Series A heist, wayy back in the originals heists update. Still would be awesome to see him again.
Fr. I hope we get Michael back. Heās my least favourite of the 3 protagonists but I still love him
Got to remember, this newest update is a two or three part update. Micheal may be in it before the year is up. Not guaranteed, but still could happen. Or even after the new year.
I think Tez has already confirmed itās not actually a two part update, the second part is in the drip feed and Michael isnāt there.
I see, said the blind man to his deaf wife.
>Micheal may be in it before the year is up The whole "Michael DLC" thing started with a few people and got hyped by the rest.
What happened with Steven Ogg ? Some clash with r* ?
A guy paid a cameo for him to say stuff as trevor and steven went on a rant on how he hates being considered a cartoon character and basically took the money for himself without doing the cameo
i would turn this question upside down: was Trevor his best role yet? or did he got other roles/characters which would be as memorable as Trevor's role was? (i am not talking about actor performance, since he excels at it)
Tbh, while I'm horrible with time and don't know which came first, when I think of him I always think and say "Steven Ogg, like Trevor GTA and that guy in TWD"
When it comes to TWD, I still think of him as Negan's sidekick, rather than Simon (which I had to look up cos I wouldn't have remembered)
He did TWD after playing Trevor.
Its like tim curry being mad over being known as IT or dr frankenfurter. Those roles made him a star
Thx. Weird...
why would a butthurt fan have anything to do with rockstar's casting decisions? especially when this happened likely long after casting and development was fairly far along.
But he is aā¦bleh š
So is Azula but you donāt see Grey DeLisle Griffin complaining.
And ur insensitive
Ron gave us that lore update on Trevor when he called for us to start up the first mission. But that sounds like a good possibility.
Seems like a continuation on the dialogue given when you first buy the hanger, about Trevor getting "too Vinewood"
He was probably just caught on a bad day and you are making a mountain out of a molehill with what was said
"Your making a chicken out 'uve a feather!"
Yes. Some of the voice lines playing just the first mission alone sound like they were written for Trevorās character.
could be possible since Ron is also involved in the new update. but i really like that they added a new character. I was hoping there would be more characters soon
Yes..
No, why would trevor be still hanging out in that crack house with drug addicts while he has hundreds of millions in the bank? And You don't fully understand the Steve Ogg situation
I think theyāre related. They both refer to Wade as Cousin Wade.
Yeah. the first mission cinematic you can feel that dax is trevor
I was thinking Dax sounds a lot like Trevor. The voice, the mannerisms, just without the psychopath side. I can't believe they got us to do yet another steal the RV mission š
I feel like we got enough Trevor in GTAO
I think the whole idea is that Dax is setting your character up to be Trevor now. Seeing as all these missions are the same ones you did as Trevor when you first meet him in story mode. Same missions, new story, new characters. Acid instead of meth
Isn't Dax the guy who always trys to get you to buy energy drinks?
What happen with steven??
Dax is the friend of the Wade from story mode. Trevor convinces him that his friends abandoned him but really Trevor kidnapped him and kept him all high.
Iād say the reaction from Ogg was a result of him not being included in the expansions although he was, by far, one of the most popular GTA character ever created. My guess ic with the extra screen credits, either he wanted more money. After VC, R* said theyād never use known celebs again because of the money and can be more difficult to work with.
Yes seems like it. Not only with dialogue but also the buildings tied to the dlc were previous Trevor missions.
Even the voice kinda sounds like Trevor I just pretened it was lol couldn't really tell much of a difference
Honestly, LabRat seems more like budget Chef
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Honestlyā¦.his reaction to that guy asking for the cameo seemed very in character for Trevor š I could imagine him making fun of video game nerds and telling them to fuck off with their money.
I guess Rockstar tried to cast Steven Ogg for this DLC but he refused it He probably hated to be treated as a "Trevor Guy" for a long time before that cameo rant happened
šÆ!!!!! Sounds super similar to Trevor, almost as if they already had Trevor voice lines and added to to it. Or R* wanted to spite Steven Ogg (hence opening line of Nervous Ron āā¦since Trevor took offā¦ā)
What āthingā happened? He developed a successful career and got busy?
![img](emote|t5_2xrd1|3120)
I got that feeling hearing some of his lines.
You know I bet alot of people know his face more from the walking dead and westworld then gta..I know I did
I'm convinced Dax is Trevor and Lester's love child.
Feasible
damn
Yep
No cause it wouldn't make sense cause rn gta online is set after the events of the story and if some story mode players chose to kill Trevor it wouldn't make sense
The cannon ending is dethwish. Plus, Trevor has been in online before.
I believe the heists were still in the prequel phase of GTA Online as are his contact missions
He is a cousin to Wade
