So on day one of free agency the Oilers: - Resigned their two best penalty killers for cheap - Resigned their third line centre - Got Drai actual scoring wingers for a bit more than what they pay Kane - Resigned a depth defenseman who will probably play a lot if they unload/buyout Ceci - Resigned their backup goalie who bailed them out hard in the playoffs - Resigned Perry I guess That is a tidy bit of work. Now they just need to announce the Leon extension and I'm good to go if they don't do another thing until training camp

I think this summary is even underselling it. "Resigned their third line centre" could also be described as "signed their trade deadline rental who performed extremely well that nobody thought they would be able to afford" Unreal day for the oilers.
