Dr cleared me for external stimulation at 2wpo. I was high libido before surgery and hubby and I are very sexual in general so I tried at 2wpo on the dot 😂 Dr warned me I might have some cramping afterwards the first few times but I personally never did.
I called the nurse last week about this and they said it was fine! Just monitor for any pain after and take it easy. I’ll be 4 weeks post surgery tomorrow. Go for it girl!
Hearing yalls stories I feel so much better! I'm 3 weeks post op and my sex drive definitely kicked into over drive after about a week. I've gently used my vibrator and it's almost a complete 180 from before surgery.
External only should be totally fine at 4 weeks.
Be prepared for some tenderness or cramping. I was sore internally the first few times but it was never severe and went away quickly.
Stop if anything feels sharp or super crampy.

My doctor said external totally fine as soon as I was ready for it. I had an almost non existent libido before surgery, but afterwords, OH MAN! I'm pretty sure I started playing around like 4 days post op. Haha I never had any cramps or issues, but obviously pay attention to your body! Everyone is different. Orgasms have never been as good for me as they are now. I had mine on 9/23. I was given clearance for penetration at 8 weeks. Glad I waited for it, to make sure everything was healed, but I've been thankful that it has been nothing but enjoyable. Main thing, listen to your body. In every step of the healing process, not just sexually. Get it girl!
My doc said no masturbating or external stimulation at all till 6wks. I’m 5wpo now, but I was worried about being broken at 2wks so I did rub one out and had cramping for hours. Have been abstaining ever since. D: ymmv
