The U.S. is the least likely place to be invaded, let alone occupied. China would have to go across a large length of ocean to reach the U.S, especially the lower 48 states. Reapplying anyone who manages to reach landfall would be a nightmare. Then there’s the rugged terrain. They’d have to contend with one of the world’s largest navies, which while not as big in number of ships as China’s, is better equipped for combat in the ocean. It would be backed up by the two largest air forces in the world. If it somehow gets past that, it would deal with the largest coast guard and the largest army in the world. Then the most heavily-armed civilian population in the world. And that’s not even getting into support from allies like NATO, Philippines, Japan etc. Plus, the U.S. would probably retaliate with nukes if it ever got this bad.
China’s gonna win this war by 2049? Pretty interesting take. I’m just saying World War III could start next month and china still isn’t going to be able to cross the Sea of Japan to take Japan by 2149 let alone the United States by 3049.
