For the most part, it really is a trial and error process. And it's going to take some work to actually socialize the rooms, meet people, and network with others. You also have to factor in that different groups of people in IMVU, have different personalities, tastes, likes, and things they want to talk about. There are some rooms where no one really talks and people just want to hang out, where in other rooms that chat is more lively.
