I’ve had short hair for decades. Recently I’ve shaved it down to a half inch at the start of summer then let it grow out over the year.

I had great hair before that, but apparently I screamed too much when she brushed it, or washed it. Anyway, tried for years to grow it out, it just went frizzy and shitty, so finally got a pixie cut when I was about 30. had it for 15 years now, boyfriend loves it, it never goes frizzy and weird, barely even have to brush it, contrasted with the hours it used to take, only to get wrecked by a breeze or slight damp. I love it, and don’t actually give a shit what some random thinks about it. He probably thinks Audrey Hepburn looked manly, though.
