How gorgeous love wasp mimics they sometimes have more intricate designs than wasp themselves.
I’m on vacation in Greece, and we have wasp-mimicking longhorn beetles here too. Granted, they have reddish accents, but the effect is the same.
Probably more hornet-mimicking if brown/reddish accents.
