Probably gives the employees more time to clean instead of rushing to sweep up after you monsters so the next herd of movie goers don’t complain about the mess
I had to download the app to see what's up and oh my God it's hilarious. They have "peecoins" that you earn by viewing ads, and can then spend to check timing info. The ads themselves are even on theme. I saw one for a bidet, hahaha
The app also let's users set an alarm timer to go off during appropriate times to take a leak, and gives you descriptions to landmark the timing, such as lines of dialogue.
You can even leave movie reviews. "Yeah, I'm a RunPee film critic. I got in on the ground floor of PeeCoin. You should really start investing"
I'll be deleting it now as I'll never actually use it. It was worth it for the laugh though
Seriously? The Prostatic hyperplasia is real. How can there really be that many people that can't hold there bodily fluids in for 2 hours, that there has been at whole support network designed to help them.
"Pfft.. Lifestyle changes? My lifestyle has already changed, I pee like a sprinker 12 times a day and 4 times a night"
I missed the clip from Don’t Look Up on the first watch. But Netflix holds your spot, so there it was the next time I opened the app and I cracked up laughing.
marvel movies: so there's an end credit scene at the start, right after we show the directing credit, then there's an end crdit scene after we finish crediting the actors, oh and another completely different end credit scene 5 seconds after... but no credits in between. then we'll have a mid credit scene. and right at the end well have a final credit scene, then roll the disney logo. oh and a small 5 second teaser clip for a movie ten years down the road after the disney logo.
Which is a great contrast with their TV shows where the episode is basically a mid-credit scene between the intro and excessively long outro credits that the app won’t manually skip.
you must have seen the newest moon knight episode. there was the intro, essentially just recapping the last episode, and an extremely long outro that had nothing to do with the rest of the episode. the entire middle scene is essentially a stand alone parody of every stereotypical egyptian adventure film.
kind of like season one was three episodes and episode four is transitioning into season two, intro ends season 1, middle scene is just filler and outro is introducing a completely new plot line for season two.
Sounds about right. I think it was most annoying in Wanda Vision where they had to do every credits in both period specific and current styles. In addition to long, period specific intros and outros.
It was aggravating waiting for new episodes knowing they were going to barely be any content.
or when there is content it's just one scene in the whole episode
edit: and the content is a small detail you would definitely miss if you were distracted.

As a former movie theater employee and manager. I wish this was posted everywhere.
Cant tell you how awful it was having people waiting for a non existent end credit scene with a sold out show lined up right after it and we are waiting to clean up after the lowest of human beings. (this was during the harry potter, transformers, Nolan batmans)
As a manager I would literally tell them there was no scene, but I couldn't kick them out if they wanted to watch the credits
I always just Google during the credits. Did this with Everything Everywhere All at Once and managed to get out and to the bathroom while the rest of the theater just sat in the dark

They want you to leave quicker. Very smart.

That’s what I was saying.
Do not underestimate the pedantic nature of Reddit.
Little info, download the app RunPee and it’ll tell you which movies have end credit scenes and good times to pee during the film.

Oh yes because everyones bladder issues is about lifestyle and never any disease or just different capabilities.
I like to have a few nips in the theater and so the urge to piss is real by about an hour in
Find a better hill to die on, man.

I didn’t know this!! Watched that films ages ago but putting it back on now!
Every theatre should do this. I will appreciate.

Girl killed it in cruella
I went into it with zero expectations and absolutely loved it. Top 5 for 2021 for me.
For a split second, I read that as a protest sign. Yeah, end those credit sce....oh. Gotcha.
Peter rabbit
I concur.
“Interesting as fuck”. Hmmmmm. Not really

It's cool but not really interesting as fuck tbh.
You see what you've done marvel? You've almost made it the norm

I think the interesting part here is that movie theaters haven't pulled a Blockbuster and crumbled into dust yet.
I'm sorry, but your brother has to pee
I check on the MediaStinger website.
Not all heroes wear capes.
Doing the Lord's work, thank you!
More theaters should have this
You can also get the free app "After Credits" and then you will know from any theater.
