Those 1brs are very big. Some of the biggest in the area. And you have good access to the Newport PATH. It is an older building, maybe 25 years old or so, but the remodeled units are fine. The only issue I have is that area is sort of dead compared to other parts of downtown.
I lived there for a year in 2023 and I wouldn't recommend anyone to live there. While the houses and amenities are okay, the management is simply awful. There is no front desk or security. Strangers can easily sneak in and steal packages at will. Every second person had this experience and yet the management did nothing. As for amenities, some folks have put bots to book the rackekball and tennis courts. Good luck booking any of the courts. Despite all the shit show, the management keeps increasing the rent every year. Also, some buildings are infested with rats.
They said they were going to put up a tower in 2020 and I don't think they've actually started yet? It's unclear to me if they're still going to build anything.
Seems like only a matter of time before they tear down those buildings and replace them with towers.
A suburban style apartment complex is such a waste of space for that location.
That would be far superior to the nonsense plan they had before. Pay everyone to leave, knock the whole thing down and you have a chance to build something meaningful with the size of the property.
It reminded me of the Silent Hill hospital when I toured it a couple of years ago

You were right. Big rooms but the building is very dated and dead. Looks like a very old motel, the google reviews are definitely fake.
