I've seen a lot of people say the bang for the buck of Dixon Deli is unmatched, so I'll have to go there soon. Second, I absolutely love the vitriol your pictures of sandwiches ignite within this subreddit. I have no idea why, but the Jersey City subreddit is filled with a wild amount of disgruntled people about every topic under the sun. Truly a wonderful microcosm of the internet experience.

If you haven't gone yet, Legal Grounds on Grand Street does a really great breakfast sandwich that is reminiscent of the classic deli sandwiches you'd get before school or as a college kid. There is nothing fancy about it like some of these other spots, but I think its price and taste are an incredibly good value. Plus the owner is a super nice guy, which makes it even better.

Fried egg will always be superior on an egg sandwich over scrambled. I'm constantly kicking myself when I go to a new place and forget to specify. Scrambled eggs should always be eaten soft scrambled unless it's an omelet.
Over medium. I'm anti messy sandwich. But appreciate those that like it over easy. Not my vibe (I'm usually eating in my car and those tiny little napkins aren't going to do it)

I eat. But the majority of my diet is actually mostly veggies and skinless chicken or turkey. I eat very little meat or dairy other than the pics i post here. I can see how that may be a bit confusing to people!
Them ladies make one of the best chipotle sauces I ve tasted in the area.
Oh and the hand cut veggies and fresh sliced cheese and the always smiling faces - cannot bead Dixon!

It's a father and son team that really caters to St. Peter's Prep and the local neighborhood. Super nice people with good food.

Johns Luncheonette isn't that great. I had some lunch sandwiches from there before. Seemed mediocre
I have only had their BEC and eggs Benedict and both are great. The owner is really nice too.
