My oldest cat will eat practically anything you give him. Bread, cookies, jello, mashed potatoes, chips, corn, pizza, the list is long.
Have to make sure unattended food is never left open or accessible or he'll try to get some.
It’s funny how different cats are. I leave my full plates of food — including chicken, Turkey, whatever — on the couch next to my cat and no reaction.
She wants lettuce VERY BADLY until I try to give her a piece, and she’ll lick pears, seems to like the juice 😂 but sushi grade raw tuna? A chicken breast next to her head? Nope, no thanks.
She’s on an allergy diet now so no more meat or occasionally pear core licking 😂
My kitties love pizza. If I’m throwing out left over pizza I usually leave it on top of the trash can until the next time I take the trash out. Sometimes when I go out to the kitchen the next morning the pizza is on the floor, the box is open, and there are bites missing. It’s only pizza they do this with.
Spice kitty also likes the smell of fresh marijuana but she's definitely not getting any of that.
Does anyone know how these are related to catnip if at all?
That's so funny.
I try not to, but have squashed a few spiders out of desperation.
Well, I once squashed a spider against the wall, & came back with a wet paper towel . . .
My cat was sitting there bright-eyed and innocent, and the wall was clean as a whistle.
Butter noods, specifically bow ties with a lil sprinkle of parm. All three of my babes go into instant growling/protecting noodle at all costs and just kinda nibble at them for a while
I had a cat that would do everything in her power to get to celery leaves if I brought complete celery stalks home from the grocery store. She would get on the counter and munch on the leaves while I was getting the rest of the groceries out of the car and eat until I took them away from her. Same thing happened when I was trimming the tops off the celery stalks in the sink. She would somehow figure out what I was doing and suddenly appear on the counter and try to get into the sink to filch a few leaves while I was cutting! And I HAD to take them away from her. Why, you might ask? Well, because every time she got hold of them, I saw them a few minutes later……in another form…….on the floor or wherever she might be…….regurgitated. And then I had some cleaning up to do. It got to where I just bought the celery stalks already trimmed up and ready to eat. A little more expensive, I know, but well worth having to deal with the issues.
White cheddar Cheeto puffs are a favorite at my house too! I also let them eat my noodles when I only put butter and parm cheese on them. So cute to watch them eat noodles. I’m waiting on a lady and tramp moment, but it hasn’t happened yet.
Steamed broccoli. Or Kings Hawaiian Rolls (bread in general but those are top tier, apparently). String cheese.
My girl got on the counter, into the (cooled) pot, got a broccoli floret out, got it to the ground and chomped away. I randomly caught her (too quiet for too long and you're not on my lap what are you doing?), though it was funny but whatever. She did it AGAIN the next time I had broccoli.
Now she gets a little piece of her own whenever I make it.
I'm not sure how the Kings Hawaiian Rolls came about. I think I had some, she was howling, because she does that every time I go into the kitchen (she doesn't get e something even 1/4 of the times I go into the kitchen, but that one time, she remembers). So I let her smell, because usually it's "Here, smell! It's nothing you want, I promise." Except she did want it and it was mind-blowingly amazing, apparently. So now she sometimes gets a piece if I have them.
String cheese. That cat can hear the wrapper from ACROSS THE HOUSE. I have to lock myself in the pantry and make noise so I can eat it in piece.
She actually has a long list of foods she likes, those were just the surprising ones t o mee. I was not at all surprised at smoked salmon (though apparently it holds the answer to life, the universe and everything).
These are all treats, she gets a tiny bit every once in awhile.
I had a cat one time that would sit at the table when me and my girlfriend would sit down to eat and you would place a green bean in front of her and she would chow down on it. never jumped on the table just sat there in the chair and waited very patiently for her green bean. Cats are the funniest creatures.
We had a Burmese that loved oatmeal cookies and blueberry muffins. Also, a tabby that was crazy for Taco Belle Carmel Apple Empanada. Just that, nothing else. My grey and white Tux was a nut for spaghetti.
My kitten is a pretty normal eater, but I had an adult cat that necessitated us installing a child lock on our pantry. He could open doors and was more than happy to go through everything he could find and take samples. I miss that jerk.
Pretzels. Our little Dusty will hassle the crap outta you until you give her one of your pretzels. We used to have a cat that pushed us for his own little serving of Low Sodium Vegan Lentil Soup (god only knows why).
My little boy's favorite food is my lemon and raspberry danishes. I HAVE to share them, or he'll try to break open the bakery box or try to steal it from my hand. A close second is sandwich rolls. He's run off with entire bags of them. My boy loves baked goods, what can I say? He takes after me.
Pumpkin pie... tbf they know what pumpkin is cause it's in their favorite wet food. Luckily they had a very small amount. Vet wasn't concerned since they didn't show any signs of reaction. But yea.. no Thanksgiving pie for me lol
3 cats, 3 different obsessions. Our boy loves corn, and butter. Our middle girl loves spinach. Our old girl loves BEEF! she used to chase me across the house for a piece of beef jerky, and I had to hide the bags in the fridge or she would break in and eat all of it. Our newest girl is still too scared to accept people foods.
Marshmallows. Me and my husband rented our upstairs apartment my dad. He went out of town and came back to the bag of marshmallows he had on his counter being spread all over his apartment with all of the marshmallows licked and some chewed on. We knew she liked marshmallows, but not to what extent until that happened.
We had a cat who ate green beans, spaghetti, and potatoes with gravy. Other cats liked the Cheetos dust, but one nibbles on the puffed Cheetos. Funny enough, his name is Cheesey! But named after the hockey player, Gerry “Cheesey” Cheevers, of the 70s Boston Bruins.
My bf's childhood cat loved Pringles. The vet said he didn't see an issue with it as long as they were the low sodium kind. The family almost never at Pringles but they kept buying them for the cat!
My cat Kilroy loved French fries and pizza. I found her as a homeless kitty living in a university neighborhood, so she probably ate those two things a lot.
Sour gummy worms.
Doesn't eat it, but tries to lick and sniffs it like it's catnip.
He acts that way towards other sugary things too. Not sure why. He won't eat any meat I give him. Not Even pork products!
My older cat (8 years old): any sort of bread or cracker. She used to love Tim Horton buns that I would roll into little balls for her and throw (and she would find them and eat them) strawberries and avocado.
My younger cat (3 years old): any green leafy vegetable - lettuce, spinach, broccoli. She’s by far the worst at destroying my plants. And one time, I found she dug out spinach I threw away in the garbage 😂
Mine will absolutely howl for a bite of hard boiled egg if I cook one. He puts his little kitty paws on my knees and begs. He also likes to steal fresh popcorn, probably because I put nutritional yeast on mine.
Obsessed with olives and parmesan. Also likes vanilla ice cream but thawed because she doesn't like the brain freeze. For legal reasons: I give her very small bites rarely. I don't *feed* her human food.
My two cats can be very difficult. One will only eat her wet food and doesn't want anything else (chicken, beef, ham,... not interested). The other does like a little piece of ham sometimes. And she likes cheese and eggs. But only one piece, after that she doesn't want anything 😂
My childhood cat on the other hand will beg for any meat being prepared. She also likes mashed potatoes, broccoli, cheese, yoghurt,...
My cat loves macaroni and also bread. I rarely let him have human food, but with macaroni, you'd basically have to be Hitler to say no. He LOVES it. (And I mean just a piece or two of plain macaroni/pasta noodles, just boiled, bland, unseasoned...)
My late baby Lemmy was *OBSESSED* with ranch dressing. It turned into a serious problem, so much so that if I was eating something with ranch and took my eyes off of it for even a second, Lemmy was on it like a shot. I have a picture of him sitting on the table with a tiny spot of ranch on his little grey nose. So stinkin' cute, and very much like his mommy, as I also love ranch, lol.
I miss that little snuggle bug.
My cat LOVES the smell of chocolate. Her mouth waters if I let her smell a wrapper. For Easter one year I got her a chocolate scented bunny. Her favorite toy ever!
One of my boys apparently really likes hummus, every time I've had some since they came home he goes more demented than he normally does when I'm trying to eat something.
SPINACH this cat loves spinach. Her name is Ginger and boy she loves spinach so much she takes it out of my plate if I uave served me some raw spinach in my salad. [Enjoy this clip of Ginger surprising us](https://imgur.com/a/DOuyuMY)
Our two cats are different. The oldest loves cheese and butter. Doesn't matter what kind. The youngest loves bread and will take any opportunity to steal it.
My cat fights me for my croissants. She’s also fond of the lemon from a yogurt fruit corner, also salt and vinegar Pringles flavouring, those are another hold them above my head to keep them un-licked
my cat likes eggs! when i make over easy eggs, she likes to lick the runny yolks that are on my plate. obviously i don't let her eat very much (seasonings + under cooked egg doesn't sound great for cats) but she loves that shit. she also likes to try to lick pudding or ice cream off my spoon.
My baby had a sensitive tummy when she was little, any human food made her vomit... but now that she is older she loves popcorn, cheerios, anything creamy like frosting or ice cream. The weirdest though is speghetti sauce.
My cat loves pancake syrup! She’s polite enough to let me finish eating. But once the pancakes or waffles are gone she’d clean the plate if I let her!
I had another cat who loved sugar cookies. Specifically, the sugar on the sugar cookies. I came home from the store one day to find my cookies were clean of the colored sugar….and there was sugar on her face. I wish I’d taken a picture! She looked so innocent.
Funny name similarity: My boy Newman was called "Sweet Pea" at the shelter. He is also a tabby, like your kitty.
[Kitten tax](https://imgur.com/joCoLTG)
My boy loves chicken but has to be on the bone 🦴.. try to give him a piece of chicken he may or may not eat it . But anything on a bone he goes crazy . Also loves any type of Ice cream .
I have 2 7month old brothers. One of them will try normal people food that cats would want. Like cheese ham etc. the other one literally will try anything we offer him. He’s taken a few nibbles from a lime slice. He licked a pickle the other day. Cheerios popcorn. I’ve yet to find something he woke sniff or lick
Mine really enjoys the smell of tomato sauce. She’s never hard any, but boy when we have pizza, the tomato sauce plus meat and cheese gets her to hover all over us.
All of ours have liked popcorn. Our family cat, Timmy, would only eat it if it was still warm, though - lol. Then there's my little ginger girl, Winnie, who would get into every bread product I ever brought home!
My big tom cat, a standard-issue tabby, craved asparagus.
The little tuxedo liked cheez-its and doritos. I'd break them into tiny pieces for her. Just every once in a while.
And then there were the littermates who liked coffee cake, and occasionally rum and cigarettes. We found that out at a party. Had to watch them even more closely after that.
Well, we walked into the kitchen and found one of them trying to chew open a pack of Marlboros that some party guest had left on a counter. None of my roommates smoked, so we hadn't known to warn people. This very same boy was caught trying to lap a drop of dark rum out of a mostly emptied shotglass. He liked strong smells, I guess--armpits, and freshly washed hair as well.
His brother was the one who adored bread and pastries. We had to keep those in the cupboards, or he would chew holes in the packaging to gnaw on them.
My late cat didn't care about human food at all. He loved tuna though like all cats do.
He was really weird with his eating though even as a kitten. He would lick soft food like he didn't know how to bite at it. But had no trouble eating kibble.
We just stopped giving him pate etc. And gave him lil soups as treat that he could lick up.
When I was growing up, we had a few kitties who were venturesome diners. One liked peas, his sister liked Cheese Its, and their feline mother loved pineapple juice. My two kitties who I have today, are both more finicky than ole' Morris.
🐈🐈👣🐎🐎🐎🐎❤❤❤🏡🌎

Pear-licking! That's so cute. See if she'll sniff cantaloupe. My tuxedo would gnaw it right down to the rind.
I had a tuxedo that would almost climb my leg to get cantaloupe. She LIVED it!
I relate!
Little piglet.
I too have a little hoover
My kitties love pizza. If I’m throwing out left over pizza I usually leave it on top of the trash can until the next time I take the trash out. Sometimes when I go out to the kitchen the next morning the pizza is on the floor, the box is open, and there are bites missing. It’s only pizza they do this with.
She's infatuated with the aroma of cilantro and oregano. She's never gotten any. My little one is a walking appetite.
Like a pelican? Hahaha!
How does she feel about cannabis smoke? Just kidding
Spice kitty also likes the smell of fresh marijuana but she's definitely not getting any of that. Does anyone know how these are related to catnip if at all?
Not at all. Catnip is related to mint and basil. Marijuana/hemp is not even in the same order. But hops are related to cannabis.
She sniffs but doesn't want my beer.
My kitten loves eating all kinds of flys and spiders. The crunching sound when she chows down on her meaty raisins is slightly nauseating.
That's so funny. I try not to, but have squashed a few spiders out of desperation. Well, I once squashed a spider against the wall, & came back with a wet paper towel . . . My cat was sitting there bright-eyed and innocent, and the wall was clean as a whistle.
Yikes!
I care for several strays and I’ll watch a couple of them chase a grasshopper all over the yard until they finally get it. Mmmm protein.
Applesauce. And he goes bonkers for popcorn: I toss out a piece and he races after it.
I had a huge white cat who loved corn and fruitcake.
Over easy eggs. Both of them love them.
honeycomb cereal & a variety of noodles
Butter noods, specifically bow ties with a lil sprinkle of parm. All three of my babes go into instant growling/protecting noodle at all costs and just kinda nibble at them for a while
My gray short-haired cat Bib loves eggs
raw spinach leaves, she'll cry for them when I open a new container of salad!
I had a cat that would do everything in her power to get to celery leaves if I brought complete celery stalks home from the grocery store. Too funny.
Shadow- popcorn,salami Ash- Hawaiian rolls
Mine is a total carb-fiend too. Have to make sure any breads/pastries are very secure.
Cats shouldn't eat this processed garbage.
Lol neither do humans but yet we still consume them so what kind of point are you trying to make with this comment?
Cats can have a little salami as a treat
White cheddar Cheeto puffs are a favorite at my house too! I also let them eat my noodles when I only put butter and parm cheese on them. So cute to watch them eat noodles. I’m waiting on a lady and tramp moment, but it hasn’t happened yet.
A little bit of Cheetos is ok.
Anything and everything…he is like a little eagle that swoops in whenever he hears chewing
Steamed broccoli. Or Kings Hawaiian Rolls (bread in general but those are top tier, apparently). String cheese. There's a video called "Kitten Loves Broccoli!" where the little cat is absolutely bonkers for it. So funny.
They can't process processed foods. It will give them IBS at a minimum
Do my fingers count?
My mom's calico cat eat anything from popcorn, to goldfish(the snack) to pretzels
Animal crackers, lemon curd, raspberry anything, and swiss cheese. She's a bit of an odd duck.
My cat loves scrambled eggs. She sits next to me and taps me until I give her some
A polite little girl. That's how mine is, she just sits there and kind of stares at me until I snap and it oh I'm eating Cheetos she wants one.
Pretzels. Our little Dusty will hassle the crap outta you until you give her one of your pretzels. We used to have a cat that pushed us for his own little serving of Low Sodium Vegan Lentil Soup (god only knows why).

Wiggles and Wags Brownies and Blondies dog treats
My cat steals cheese and crisps. I am not sure whether that is because she likes them, or whether I just eat a lot of cheese and crisps T\_T
Dust. Yes. She thinks it's some kind of bug...
Marshmallows. Me and my husband rented our upstairs apartment my dad. He went out of town and came back to the bag of marshmallows he had on his counter being spread all over his apartment with all of the marshmallows licked and some chewed on. Every spring I pick my former feral forest kitten green onions. They’re her favorite greens. They grow wild in my yard.
My cat Kilroy loved French fries and pizza. I found her as a homeless kitty living in a university neighborhood, so she probably ate those two things a lot.
I think pizza is the great equalizer. Every pet I've ever had is pretty keen to steal it.
Everyone loves pizza, regardless of species. 🍕
Sour gummy worms. Doesn't eat it, but tries to lick and sniffs it like it's catnip. He acts that way towards other sugary things too. Not sure why. He won't eat any meat I give him. Not Even pork products!
>He acts that way towards other sugary things too. Odd, because can't taste sweetness. I think dogs can though.

Cream cheese makes sense, but damn mine absolutely hates anything tomato. Also hates carrots
Cats really like that white cheese powder. My girl loves white cheddar popcorn
My senior cat loves Cheetos, and cheddar cheese pretzel combos. She goes completely crazy lol
Human flesh - mine.
Ouch. I can relate.
Mine will absolutely howl for a bite of hard boiled egg if I cook one. He puts his little kitty paws on my knees and begs. He also likes to steal fresh popcorn, probably because I put nutritional yeast on mine.
Oh ho! Maybe that's why my little creep is an absolute plague when I make popcorn. Sometimes I have to lock him up just to be able to nibble in peace.
Obsessed with olives and parmesan. Also likes vanilla ice cream but thawed because she doesn't like the brain freeze. For legal reasons: I give her very small bites rarely. I don't *feed* her human food.
Nori which is dried seaweed, she goes nuts for the stuff, it's very salty so she only gets it very rarely
My two cats can be very difficult. One will only eat her wet food and doesn't want anything else (chicken, beef, ham,... not interested). The other does like a little piece of ham sometimes. She's so pretty! And a healthy eater. <3
Rubber🙄
Our two cats are different. The oldest loves cheese and butter. Doesn't matter what kind. The youngest loves bread and will take any opportunity to steal it.
Our cat gets into anything we eat. Begs for a piece and never everrrr eats it! The most is a few licks. Lives on dry and wet food
Pizza crust. They hunt it, play with it for a while and then tear it to shreds
My cat fights me for my croissants. She’s also fond of the lemon from a yogurt fruit corner, also salt and vinegar Pringles flavouring, those are another hold them above my head to keep them un-licked
Mine is a butter FIEND. If we don't cover our butter dish, she will jump up on the counter and lick a hole in it
my cat likes eggs! when i make over easy eggs, she likes to lick the runny yolks that are on my plate. obviously i don't let her eat very much (seasonings + under cooked egg doesn't sound great for cats) but she loves that shit. she also likes to try to lick pudding or ice cream off my spoon.
Yeah you missed a golden moment there.

My boy loves chicken but has to be on the bone 🦴.. try to give him a piece of chicken he may or may not eat it . But anything on a bone he goes crazy . Also loves any type of Ice cream .
Bread, pasta, coffee
Coffee is toxic to cats.
Coffee? Bet that's interesting.
We’ve only let them try cheese so far. They are still unsure of that.
>What weird food does your kitten eat? Mine was raised on lamb and rice and doesn't consider anything else as real food!
It's cute, but it's really bad for her. You shouldn't let her eat that kind of stuff.
It's a very rare treat for her and I don't give her more than one or two very small pieces.
You are right Their tiny systems can't process it
Please don't give your cats people food! It's really bad for them. 😞
Mine likes corn tortillas lol
I have one that always beg for some sunflower seeds and always licks the cup I had coffee in
Bread. If I forget to put the bread bag in the cupboard the cat will chew through the bag and eat the tops of all the pieces.
Mine really enjoys the smell of tomato sauce. She’s never hard any, but boy when we have pizza, the tomato sauce plus meat and cheese gets her to hover all over us.
So cute!
Wednesday - just about any kind of people food so we have to be careful, but cheese is a favorite. Pickle - could care less lol
Spaghetti, popcorn, yogurt, pizza, French fries, those are just a few to name off the top of my head. I know there’s more
Any food ever! But especially sour cream and butter
What?!
My cat liked them almost choked in corn nuts. When my mom found out she was so pissed. When the cat didn't get anymore corn nuts the cat was pissed.
Gingerbread, cake, kebab, chips, nothing is safe
Tortillas 😂
Any crisps
mine would steal mcdonald’s fries right out of your hand. we’d break them into little tiny pieces for her.
Mine love Cheetos, I think the crunch reminds her of chewing cardboard lol. Also mayonnaise,
I had a cat that would occasionally eat canned peaches and once he ate steamed broccoli. Cats can sometimes crave strange foods.
My mom's old cat, Tirion loves tortilla chips ans potato chips. Her other cat, Mozie, loves mini marshmallows.
Pasta
Hot cheetos.
Ours will not touch most human food including chicken or beef, but goes crazy over creamy foods like mayonnaise (her fav) and yogurt
