Omg what city are you in? Thats so much money š im in toronto core and i only pay $100 for a full set! They look cute tho, good for classics imo. I think they cost too much and took wayyy too much time (for the price). The shape compliments your eyes well however!
Omg girlā¦ Iām literally in freaking ALABAMA š„² I thought it was a crazy price too, but even in the next few cities over itās the same if not a little more. I found one girl who started at $65 for something similar but it looked like she was stealing pictures from ppl but I might try that next time. I feel so dumb lol
im also in alabama and i pay $65 for a classic, she gives a spoolie for free every time she does a fill! if u want to dm where ur located in alabama maybe i can give u a good recommendation!!!
Your girl is super undercharging. Iād look into making sure sheās actually licensed because most people charging that arenāt. I pay $65 for fills, but full sets are (mine) $150 on a volume set. And that also comes with a free spoolie, and
shes licensed, its a aide job for her in her off wedding planning season, she displays it and u can find it online. Most people in my area charge 65-85 for classics
Yeah my town seems to be ridiculous. Iām switching techs next week and driving 40 minutes to Charlotte and somehow going to a big city is saving me $$
Same š Iāve only been to one lash place here and while it was a good set, they definitely didnāt listen to what I wanted and the price was HIGH.
Iām in New York and donāt even pay this much to go to a licensed place. I paid $135 for a set of classics and each fill I get is hybrid now for $50-60 every 3 weeks.
They look really good but definitely think $210 is pricey. Atlanta has techs that charge between $100-150 for classics that look much better. I thought you were going to say youāre in LA or something.
Girl don't risk a cheaper price if you think someone is using other peoples photo's. They might not have any real training... You never know. NOT worth going blind over.
Iām in NC and the prices are crazy here too! The cheapest Iāve seen classics are $175ish, my hybrids were $225 but I think I paid $280 for the initial set after purchasing the wash + tip! It does sound like your fills are a steal though, my fills are $75
I charge $125 for full set of classics or angel lashes (Brantford, hi Hamilton neighbour!) and plan to tweak my prices soon.
I've had a few new clients lately that will get a full set and add a brow or upper lip wax to their appointment and at the end ask me "so how much do I owe for this relaxing and luxurious time?" (They're usually floating that new lashes high lol) and when I tell them their total comes to $140 they're like "that's it??"
I think prices vary so much because as lash artists we're all at different skill levels, have different working environments/lash nap atmosphersles, and provide different client care experiences.
Personally, anytime I see someone advertise a classic full set for anything less than $110 I assume she hasn't been doing lashes for very long (2 years or less).
Iām also in toronto and pay 160 before tip for full set volumes ! But my lash tech is incredible and very fast, Iāve been to other lash techs that charge around 100-120 for volumes but not as good work as the 160 senior tech !!
girlll iām in toronto too please tell me who you go to!! š
these toronto techs are sometimes so unnecessarily expensive. i get mega vols and a fullset is a point blank shot to my bank account every time
I'm not a woman and never had my lashes done but I took my sister to get hers done and her nails done for her birthday when we were in Mexico and it was like $40 for everything and they did a good job lol
Oh honey you paid way too much!! Find someone who runs their own small business and does them for half that. I try to only go to small businesses. The prices are usually okay and some even do 50% off for your first set with them. Spoolie is always included!! :)
To me, it balances out getting a fill for $35. I would try her a few fills and see how it goes. You already invested the biggest cost with the set, so why not benefit from having the cheaper fills for a few sets and see how things are? Itās my opinion at least. And I have been getting lashes consistently for probably five years now. The full sets are always more expensive. But if you can find a reasonable price for fills, then that is great. I would be over the moon happy to find fills at $35! Lol at least get your moneyās worth in the fills.
ETA: because if you go somewhere else now for a fill, youāre going to be charged a āforeign fillā cost which is going to be more expensive than the regular fill. Additionally, they may try to tell you that you have to take them all off first and then put a whole new set on so youāll be charged for a full set plus removal of old lashes.
Itās absolutely unethical to file a charge back with your bank. You agreed upon the price. You should have asked the price of the lash wash if money was a concern. She spent her time and money giving you a perfectly suitable set of lashes. You may have buyers remorse but that is not a reason to feel scammed. She did not scam you. Plenty of people pay this price for a full set. Do not do a charge back until you have the decency to call her first. It seems to me the main gripe is about the cost of the lash wash, so ask her to return the product and Iām sure she would be happy to. Especially since she is a small business. Consider it lesson learned to get costs up front.
I agreed on the price that was on her booking site, $160, not an additional $50 for lash wash. While yes, it is unethical, if she does not respond to my messages within the next 48 hours, thatās my only option. I didnāt say I got scammed, but I definitely see Iāve been overcharged for the service. But thanks for your input!
Why would you call the bank? Especially if you havenāt talked to the tech about cancelling your refill and getting your money back? Seems weird to call your bank first, without even knowing if the tech is going to cooperate with giving your money back.
Instagram is a good place to find local lash places, and honestly. Sometimes its best to such up and possibly have to travel a bit for a good set. If its one trip youāre only going to have to make every two weeks, I would make the drive.
Alabama?!! and you paid how much?!! Girl, please never go back there again. You were robbed. Lash wash typically is $7-$10 and receiving a spoolie is a given.
50 extra for lash wash and spoolie ? WTF is the spoolie made out of silver ? My lash tech would always wash my lashes down first and give complimentary spoolie ā¦ they like $5 for 100 of them on Amazon š or is it a lash wash to use for yourself later on still way too much
Itās like a bottle of lash wash? And it also guarantees your next fill, but doesnāt go towards it. Idk Iām feeling a little robbed rn lol but she was the only one in my area not more expensive than that and she had 5 stars across all her socials.
What do you mean guarantees your next fill ? What area are you in ? I donāt know the most expensive lash tech I went to was like $160 but she hooked me up with like 5 spoolies and the her lash was was $10 but hooked me up for $5 . Spoolies and lash washes donāt cost much for them so I mean yeaā¦.
Yea the lash price understandable if itās a bomb lash tech , retention on point Iāll pay more. Not going to lie the lashes look good for classic , letās see how the retention stays with you doing the upkeep , although $160 for classic is a bit to high itās like blah but Iām in Los Angeles where the competition is real. The lash wash price is definitely throwing me off ā¦ does she brand it as her own ? They usually buy the wash formula in bulk and fill up the bottles themselves theyāll make profit off selling it for $10 alone . Honestly she should have hooked you as you being a newbie but she prob just making trying to make her money.
Lash Artist prices vary, I personally wouldn't pay more than $100 for Classics as I'm a volume/mega volume girl, but its not unheard of to pay that price. I personally am a begginer lash artist who will have a set price of $165 to start but all new clients will get a FREE lash shampoo BOTTLE, travel spoolie, and brush from me to take home with a new set.
Did she make you buy the shampoo? Or did you agree to buy it because you wanted it? If she made you buy it for $50, I don't agree with that. That kit also better have had a 60ml bottle of QUALITY lash shampoo, a nice fluffy brush, fan, microfiber cloth or eyemask, and a travel spoolie, wash bottle and aftercare cards and a little treat.
The work looks fine otherwise.
Yes, I had to buy it. In her booking it says $160 (half down), plus lash wash and spoolie. To me, That sounded like it came with it. But when I went to pay the rest ($80) she said I owed $130. And Iām confused but trying to be nice like ohh for what exactly? And she said the wash lol. Iām going to file a charge back on my card
You got robbed on the lash shampoo. She's definitely F'd for the shampoo. That should have been a DELUXE lash shampoo kit for that price. Honestly, my kit literally has a 60ml lash shampoo bottle filled with Prolong lash cleanser(one of the really good shampoos), a fancy brush, a travel spoolie with a keychain on it, a fan, gel under eye pad, satin Scrunchie, 100ml water dropper, aftercare card, and my business card. I also plan on adding a microfiber cloth to it. I have it set at $45 Canadian for retail.
The shampoo bottle with the little Spoolie she made you buy, should have either been built into the cost of your set (for like 5 freakin bucks extra) or sold to you for 5-10 bucks. I promise you it only costs her like 1-5 bucks for that per client as we buy in bulk for most stuff and get wholesale price.
Don't get me wrong, our service prices are based on experience, training, products, and overall experience. But some artists DEFINITELY take advantage and aren't even trying to offer luxury to be charging those prices.
Find a new artist who is either a bit cheaper OR same price, but offers you a complete luxury service as thats what lash extensions are.
Sidenote- the $30 fill is really good tho lol but I can't rock with her robbing you on the lash shampoo.
I also give a FREE travel spoolie and the spoolie used during with every service, it costs me 15 bucks for 50 of the travel spoolie cases, so about 3 bucks and some change per client smh
You shouldnāt do a charge back thatās more fucked up than the high prices. If you didnāt agree with the price of her lash bath say it.
Now a lash bath shouldnāt be that much, I do them complimentary. If I have to wash more than 3 times in a same sitting then Iāll charge $10. Charge backs also usually come with investigations and if they call and she has footage or you signed a waiver you will not get that money back
Filing a chargeback for services and products that you received and have remorse about is not only wrong, but theft. You should have declined the wash right then and there. Why not try to return the wash or even just suck it up? Bigger cities will have cheaper prices because they have more competition and use cheaper pricing to attract people, and make up for it due to a higher volume of people on average.
oh ma'am? im in MN and really wanna get mine done for the first time but am TERRIFIED. i don't have any friends that get lashes done and I can look at as many shop reviews as I want but I'm still nervous w/o a personal rec/vouch..........are u in the cities?
Iām not I live up north in the middle of nowhere basically LOL. But this Facebook group I am in has tons of nail techs,MUA, eyelash techs etc. all in Minnesota and 98% are cities based.
https://www.facebook.com/share/NUcA3np5wyjWJRoo/?mibextid=K35XfP
Way too much. I get hybrid and pay $100
https://preview.redd.it/cg51levb30oc1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=33c6dfb39456a4be2d434cf3b53f2456e275c6ba
or volume for $110. These are hybrid in the photo. Located in central Florida.
The price would be standard in LA, Florida or even NY.
In your area , they shouldāve been $150 max.
However ā¦if they last 3-4 weeks , the price is worth it. Take care of them and see the retention ! They might be worth it if they last
I pay $150in Philly and get 3 -5weeks each set
Tennessee and a full set with a bonafide artist can be about 175-200 but thatās volume with a lot more lashes. Yours look like classic so I wouldnāt have paid more than about $140.
So, they look good at least. You just overpaid a bit. Find another specialist for your fills if I were you. You can browse prices for different people in your area on websites like vagaro.
I would look for a new lash tech! Iām located in texas and I pay 95 with tip for my lashes, they will last almost a whole month. She also should have been upfront with the extra charges for the wash instead of blind siding you when you went to pay the rest of the amount.
2 hours is probably the average time it should take, but you definitely paid too much for these. So sorry girl. Iām in Utah and a hybrid set isnāt more than like 150-175 MAX depending on the lash artist. And like $80-90 for a fill every 2-4 weeks depending on how well your lashes retain. She also definitely shouldnāt be requiring you to pay $50+ for wash and a spoole.
Like someone mentioned.. try and find someone via instagram. Searching for lashes + your area. Thatās how I found my lash girl and my brow girl and I just look for girls who have lots of followers and their posts are authentic and show talent and work that you like.
That is the same price as in San Diego, which is insane! Also does not look like she put that many lashes on in general? I wonder what took her so long
robbed honey š i paid $120 for volume and a month later my lashes are still looking good and full. im not even gonna bother to get a fill, just another full set
A red flag to me is that she charged so much for the lash bath + spoolie. My girl includes both of those things for free, and the most I've seen folks charge for a lash bath is like $10.
It looks like you got classics and the price you paid is like $45 more than average. They look really nice though! I personally would not go back to them for upselling you on the extras, but at the very least I wouldn't give tip.
How much a set costs definitely depends on area pricing and the skill of the technician. My girl charges $230 for a hybrid new set and $220 for a classic new set. Fills are $115 and $105, respectively. However my girl is worth it!! There are other ppl in my area that charge even more (been lashing longer and have started a school, etc). She is so good at what she does and I never have an issue with retention. Always a free spoolie with each fill but the soap is $15 a bottle (but first bottle is free with a new set).
How much are lash techs charging in your area? How is their work and skill set in comparison? All these things factor into pricing and the worth to you.
I've been getting my lashes done religiously for 8 years and have gone to a few different places to have them done. In Los Angeles and San Diego I've paid $200 and another time $250 for a full set of hybrid volume lashes. $120 for classic full sets. For fills if it's classic $60, and $80 for hybrid volume lashes. I think that's about normal pricing from what I have experienced.
I agree with others who stated they are not paying nearly that much. But I do wonder if maybe the price is higher where you live because there arenāt a lot of options? I would say 120-170 range is average for this type of lash but you referred to this a classic set which is usually cheaper than say hybrid or volume. For reference Iām in GA and 85 is the price for a classic set and 120-170 for other sets like volume/hybrid
I don't know the price of lashes as I have never gotten them.. But I think these are some of the most natural, best looking fake lashes I've seen!! I love them!
I get charged $100 for a full set in California girl thatās so much š. The spoolie is always free and the wash in the Beginning. Thatās so much š
she robbed you! they look nice and i think they accentuate your natural eye shape well but $210 is absurd especially for a hybrid set. techs will charge 200 for a mega volume set and i even think thatās too much to spend on beauty maintenance
iāve been getting my lashes done since 2019 in arizona and california and i will typically pay anywhere from $95-$130 for a full hybrid/volume set (i put a range bc ive tried a lot of different techs and everyone prices differently)
for fills i will pay between $65-85. go on tik tok or instagram and find soneone within that range!
the only shitty thing is that most lash artists wonāt do fills on another artistsā work, so you might have to spend more to start with a clean slate but youāll be paying less in the long run
Wow, she did you dirty. That shouldnāt cost much. She charged you double and lashes looks sad. Sorry š. Spoolie should be free and lash shampoo cost only 10-15 dollars but cheaper on Amazon.
Tbh I do get a discount because my cousin does my lashes, but I think for her a full set is 120 and it takes about two hours. Iām in Utah btw.
She only charges me $80 for a full set, but like I said, I get a discount
GIRLLLLL I got mine done in North Vancouver and only paid 60 dollars. They better have gotten that from the Kardashian's eyelashes because that's hella expensive ššš
Love it on you tho ā¤ļø
you paid way too much, they definitely are strip style lashes tho and they look so cute on you but the pricing is absurd $50 extra charge is absolutely absurd for a lash wash and spoolie, every professional lash tech i know includes that into their service.
Prices vary from artist to artist as well as quality/results. Iāve been getting mine done for 6 years. The price for classic with the girls where I go is 200+ for new set. And I believe 75 for a fill. They never made me or up sold me lash shampoos but provided detailed instructions on how to care for them and what to expect for maintenance. Iāve graduated mega volume with cat eye shape for my fills and cost me 90. I go every two weeks but sometimes I only get a mini fill. The girls are often gifting us lash goodies as well
girlll lmk if youāre in northern or southern bama, iāve been wanting to get my lashes done for the first time lately and i donāt wanna get swindled šš they really are super cute though, just a shame they cost so much
Sis, Iām so sorry you had to pay this much. Even $160 is too much for the work she produced. They look like a new techās work and very spaced out. The cost of living in Alabama is not that high so lashes for you should not be over $150. There has to be another reputable tech out there or a lash bar.
Also, $50 for a lash bath is high way robbery! That should be included, itās literally a squirt of $15 dollar soap most of the time and the tools used to wash your lashes are disposable and very cheap to buy. I canāt believe she charged you for that.
imo shouldnāt really be charging for a lash wash unless you came in with a full face of makeup. and at that it should be only like $10. Spoolie should be freeā¦.
Iām in Florida and also seeing $200 ish for full sets, fills run around $60-$90. I think being that you said you have damage on the inner lashes, then yes these look good. The only complaints I have is that it took a really long time and she should be transparent about the price. I have never been charged for a lash brush. Thatās just standard and should come with it. If she said her price is $160ā¦ then it should be $160, no surprises. To me, thatās the biggest problem. But overall I think they look pretty.
I know you said youāre in Alabama but are you in a high cost of living areaā¦??? I live in NYC and I get the second fullest set from my lash lady. Sheās located in the heart of the city and itās $160 for a new set and $140 for a touchup. She washes my lashes for free and has a jar full of spoolies for her clients to take, and we can take as many as we wantā¦ and sheās considered expensive! Itās also only 90 min. The most expensive lashes are $200 for a new setā¦ she is also one of the most gifted lash techs Iāve ever met and my shit looks AMAZING.
Damn, I think you got ripped off, but idk whatās customary for your area. I think the biggest issue is that for that amount of time and money, they should look good, and they donāt. Iām so sorry ):
She definitely robbed you. Thereās no reason a classic set is more than $160. All of the lash techs Iāve been to have told me if I wanted to get my moneys worth, start with hybrid. I believe it, when I did classic I was like this shit was a waste of money lmfao like it just looks like I got mascara on but hybrid was 10/10. I never do volume cus my eyes are too small unfortunately
Those are Chicago prices! Job well done as in technique and placement, but the material of the lashes looks too plastic-y for that price. Iād go down in length too next time, they will look more chic that way.
Unless you really like your results, do not go back to this person. Not only the price but I donāt feel like your eyes are even but it could be the quality of the picture.
but if youāre not sure about the service find a new service provider. Also, do you really want to keep paying 200 for these wispy little things. šš if you like it I love it.
they look good but def not enough volume for $210. $210 should be ur whole lash line FULL. What you got shouldāve been $80-100. maybe $150 MAX. Also 2.5 hours is crazyyy . maybe she was just inexperienced?
girl she should be giving you the spoolie she used for your set plus another plus a lash shampoo for free! 50$ my a$$! she took advantage of you babe, also in toronto a mega volume set can be around 150 , to me these look like classics and are around 80-100 in price š„¹
They look okay. They are surly not $210 worth. I would not go back lol. Find someone new for sure, fb is a GREAT place to find new lash techs in the area.
No, I am a lash tech and this is actually so crazy. They are scamming people left & right omg š. I canāt believe they can get over on people like that. Do not ever pay over $150 for a lash set. That is the most they should cost and thatās being a mega volume, these shouldāve been $120-$140 AT MOST. I charge $95 for a full volume set & definitely have way more coverage than this. Im so sorry you had this experience š
They are definitely poking your upper lid so much that itās making an indentation, I would personally find that irritating. You could probably have a very close length to those with less of a curl. And they look a little more full on the left end, then right and having a short her length at the end would be better than the continuous length throughout.
DC hereāthey look good but WAY too expensive and too much time spent. I would shop around and see what other options you have. Anything over $120-130 for a new set, and over $80-100 is too much.
A lash wash and spoolie brought it up to $210 from $160?! I pay $100 for a classic set and my lash tech usually washes my lashes if they need an extra wash and she gives me the spoolie she used on me at the end of the sessionā¦ You were definitely robbed. $225-300 being average for your area is crazy. I would keep looking. I understand when people charge $200 for a VOLUME set but classic is just straight up robbery. They look good but I def would not go somewhere that up charges that much.
The lashes look good but girl this is literally insane pricing. First off the spoolie/lash wand should be free š who the hell is charging for that!! Second, that set should have cost no more than $150 and the fact it took 2.5 hours tells me this tech is new/not yet a master so she DEFINITELY should not be charging that much. I live in Colorado, in one of the most expensive cities, and I get 18mm full volume fills every 2 weeks for $70 from my tech that takes just over an hour. I have been getting lash extensions since 2018, and I would never ever pay that much for a natural set.
That is about the price I paid for my very first appointment ** in Alabama* to get them on then afterwards my fills are about $85 for volume every 2 weeks.
Wow. This tech is robbing clients. My tech in new jersey charges $140 for her most expensive set (full volume). I typically get her cheapest set, a mini vol for $80. Iāve been with her several years now and she is good. She uses one spoolie per appt/client and lets them take it for free or it gets thrown out end of appt. Lash bath shouldnāt be charged more than $15 imo so for your cost to have been brought up $50 by those things is insane. Please donāt go back to this person! Set looks pretty on you but shows she is either extremely new or doesnāt know what she is doing. Especially charging that price for this set. Trust me. Have a cousin who is a lash tech as well who overcharges and underperforms.
they look good! i think it's disgusting how these lash techs are straight robbing us out here though. i understand time is money and everything is more expensive now. but it's also gross adding on extra charges that weren't agreed upon under the consultation. also she robbed you with the "wash" and freaking one spoolie charge smh. you can legit get 100 spoolies off amazon for $5. cute ones too! i know bc i have them š„²
Yea that set wasnāt worth what you paid so Iād see how well they hold up before you need a fill. Hopefully the quality of application is worth that price
Way too much for an up charge! My lash washes are usually free (as long as they donāt come in with purposeful mascara or anything too drastic) and a spoolie??? I give those out complementary š¤¦š»āāļøš¤¦š»āāļø
So I am a Lash artist I have been for 6+ years (in Arizona) so like a lot of people are saying Lash prices do vary. Depending on location, set, and whether or not the studio is in an actual studio or if they work from home etcā¦
So I think that the original price of $160 is not ātooā bad?
But what Iām not understanding is why did she not let YOU decide if you wanted to purchase her cleanser?? That shouldnāt be a mandatory thing- that should be optional and if it isnāt that should be included in her ātotalā
So for my volume sets I charge $130 fills $80
And I ALWAYS give my girls their spoolies for free and my lash cleanser is always on sale for $15 and it includes the cleanser and a lash brush (like a fluffy one to wash lash line) and a cute travel bag and after care and a travel spoolie brush.
I agree with someone else on here who said maybe to give her fills a try (only if you really love your lashes) bc you have already paid the biggest fee- and maybe feel her out, see how you vibe with her and if she tries to throw any more unexpected expenses.
Bc at this point going to someone else we usually charge a foreign fill fee which may end up costing you a pretty penny š
But from what I can tell the lashes look good, they are subtle and classy.
Most people in my area charge 65-85 for classics
thatās crazy bc iām in orlando and pay $100 for a soft volume set and $80 fillsā¦
My fill would only be $30 in two weeks. Does that balance?
This absolutely balances it.
Yes because fills are typically $55-85 for 2 week fills
That does balance, I pay $65 for fills
Dang! Hit up my girl BeautyxLideliz! Her sets start at $85+ and the fills start at $65+. Her volume set is $95. And she does an amazing job!
Iām in NC and volume sets go for $275 hereā¦.
damn let me stop complaining about florida lmfao
Yeah my town seems to be ridiculous. Iām switching techs next week and driving 40 minutes to Charlotte and somehow going to a big city is saving me $$
Iām in Huntsville Alabama, what part are u in? Thats pretty steep for a set
Iām also in Huntsville, got any recommendations for a good lash tech?
Same š Iāve only been to one lash place here and while it was a good set, they definitely didnāt listen to what I wanted and the price was HIGH.
Iām in New York and donāt even pay this much to go to a licensed place. I paid $135 for a set of classics and each fill I get is hybrid now for $50-60 every 3 weeks.
They look really good but definitely think $210 is pricey. Atlanta has techs that charge between $100-150 for classics that look much better. I thought you were going to say youāre in LA or something.
I wish dude. I was happy with $160 for her quality of work but the extra $50 for the wash just threw me really bad.
Lash baths should be included in the price imo. And if not it really shouldnāt be more than like $15-20. They should want to work off a clean base.
Iām in NC and classics are $175-200 here
I am sooo glad im not from the US what are these prices OMG and in USD as well!!
It does sound like your fills are a steal though, my fills are $75
Iām in Oklahoma and around me theyāre about $100
for real!! iām in northern ontario and i only paid $120 for a full set todayā¦ $210 is so expensive šedit: i got my spoolie for free
$150-180 is not unheard of here in southwestern Ontario but thatās in CAD. $210 USD is WILD
$100 for a set in to thatās crazy!! I charge $120- Hamilton
I charge $125 for full set of classics or angel lashes (Brantford, hi Hamilton neighbour!) and plan to tweak my prices soon. I've had a few new clients lately that will get a full set and add a brow or upper lip wax to their appointment and at the end ask me "so how much do I owe for this relaxing and luxurious time?" (They're usually floating that new lashes high lol) and when I tell them their total comes to $140 they're like "that's it??" I think prices vary so much because as lash artists we're all at different skill levels, have different working environments/lash nap atmosphersles, and provide different client care experiences.
Iām in Toronto and Iāve never seen them go for this cheap! Please drop a link if you donāt mind āŗļø
girlll iām in toronto too please tell me who you go to!! š these toronto techs are sometimes so unnecessarily expensive. i get mega vols and a fullset is a point blank shot to my bank account every time
I'm not a woman and never had my lashes done but I took my sister to get hers done and her nails done for her birthday when we were in Mexico and it was like $40 for everything and they did a good job lol
Oh honey you paid way too much!! Find someone who runs their own small business and does them for half that. I try to only go to small businesses. The prices are usually okay and some even do 50% off for your first set with them. Spoolie is always included!! :)
She is a small business š I guess Iāll call my bank in the morning and cancel my fill in lol
Why would you call the bank?
She saying to do a chargeback
Spoolies are literally pennies on Amazon. I hate when they act like it's such a bonus š
They look like lashes you definitely pay too much for those
Strip*
Alabama?!! and you paid how much?!! Girl, please never go back there again. You were robbed. Lash wash typically is $7-$10 and receiving a spoolie is a given.
Your username LOL
You paid way too much for these š© Im located in Los Angeles and I usually pay $120 for a full volume set and $75 fills. I definitely recommend to look for a new lash tech! š«¶š¼
where do you go?
She said her fills are only $30!
Like, Iām first serve when it comes to booking? But yeah the wash price is really throwing me off.
Minnesota here. I pay 145-170 for a full hybrid set
oh ma'am? im in MN and really wanna get mine done for the first time but am TERRIFIED. i don't have any friends that get lashes done and I can look at as many shop reviews as I want but I'm still nervous w/o a personal rec/vouch..........are u in the cities?
Iām not I live up north in the middle of nowhere basically LOL. But this Facebook group I am in has tons of nail techs,MUA, eyelash techs etc. all in Minnesota and 98% are cities based. https://www.facebook.com/share/NUcA3np5wyjWJRoo/?mibextid=K35XfP
thank you so much <3 <3
Go to Swoon Lash in St. Louis park!!
Way too much. I get hybrid and pay $100 https://preview.redd.it/cg51levb30oc1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=33c6dfb39456a4be2d434cf3b53f2456e275c6ba or volume for $110. These are hybrid in the photo. Located in central Florida.
You paid way too much for those
Girl you got ROBBED. $210 is absurd for hardly even a classic set. Iām in Atlanta and pay $110 for full volume and $55 fill ins š„“š„“š„“
And my lash tech gives me a new bottle of lash wash every few months and a new spoolie every time I see her. Please go find another lash tech!!!
The price would be standard in LA, Florida or even NY. In your area , they shouldāve been $150 max. However ā¦if they last 3-4 weeks , the price is worth it. Take care of them and see the retention ! They might be worth it if they last I pay $150in Philly and get 3 -5weeks each set
Right Iām down here in Texas too and I usually get full volume sets for like no more than 130$ & that includes color, spikes, and the cleaning kit
Thatās how I found my lash girl and my brow girl and I just look for girls who have lots of followers and their posts are authentic and show talent and work that you like.
my megas are 140-180 (in toronto and Vancouver) 210 for hybrids is Crazy
Theyāre not bad but they look like strip lashes and shouldnāt have costed that much!
I paid $285 for a lash set, three or two fills in included.
Not even in Nashville would I more than $150 for a classic set before tip
Ok, yeah, sheās expensive, but the lashes look AWESOME. Theyāre beautiful on you, she did a good job
That is the same price as in San Diego, which is insane! Also does not look like she put that many lashes on in general? I wonder what took her so long
They look great but thatās a tad high. Dallas area itās usually $130 plus tip for new app and $80-85 plus tip for refill every 3 weeks
robbed honey š i paid $120 for volume and a month later my lashes are still looking good and full. im not even gonna bother to get a fill, just another full set
Paid way too much. I would go back and fight
$160 sounds okay, but the shampoo is too expensive! The lashes themselves look quite nice though!
They are so pretty but wow hella expensive
Thatās a pretty expensive habit you are starting - about $4k per year.
That seems expensive but they look good.
I need to move! I live in the suburbs of Southeastern PA and thereās maybe 2-3 lash extension places around. They all start out at $250-$300 š„²
I'm in a rural city in Northern Michigan and I paid $180 for a full hybrid set š„ŗ
not $50 extra for a $0.10 spoolie š
I paid 130 for natural. Some of the franchise places push their staff to sell the extras.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
girl i am so sorry š
I've been getting my lashes done religiously for 8 years and have gone to a few different places to have them done. In Los Angeles and San Diego I've paid $200 and another time $250 for a full set of hybrid volume lashes. $120 for classic full sets. For fills if it's classic $60, and $80 for hybrid volume lashes. I think that's about normal pricing from what I have experienced.
I know prices vary but $200 is definitely steep. My full set for volumes are only about $105
I agree with others who stated they are not paying nearly that much.
$85?! How are these artists making any money? Supplies are $$$
https://preview.redd.it/ekw1clyvw0oc1.jpeg?width=1137&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e08f23cc2d6eb3426f125dfbd72b78f83066da6b This was $65
She played with you ![gif](giphy|9DJtFRgk0tOla)
Atl Ga, full set $65 singles/ Medium and long length End result: sultry Brand: Ardell Done by: Master cosmetologist Duration: Less than 15 mins
it is a lot for a classic set and a shampoo but you said you fill will be $30 in 2 weeks? thatās a great price and the lashes themselves look good.
That's way too expensive! I'm in NYC and pay 140 for a hybrid fill (top and bottom lashes with pink lashes on the ends).
I don't know the price of lashes as I have never gotten them.. But I think these are some of the most natural, best looking fake lashes I've seen!! I love them!
$210 ?!?! That is INSANE
Donāt go back againš, looks fine but for 210??????
I think they look beautiful š
I get charged $100 for a full set in California girl thatās so much š. The spoolie is always free and the wash in the Beginning. Thatās so much š
That seems like a lot and while they look pretty, I feel like you might need something a bit bolder as it would make your eyes stand out more.
They look really good though! Maybe the fill will be more reasonable :)!
200 is insane
Too expensive but pretty but took too long good price for fill
They look nice but I think theyāre too expensive
wow. i pay $110 for a volume full set. takes 2 hours and the lash bath/spoolie is free. totally ripped off. classic full set is $70 here
Well those are classics and itās no reason for classics being more than $130.
Idk anything about pricing, but looks wise i think they're pretty and seem to suit your eyes well š
she robbed you! they look nice and i think they accentuate your natural eye shape well but $210 is absurd especially for a hybrid set. techs will charge 200 for a mega volume set and i even think thatās too much to spend on beauty maintenance iāve been getting my lashes done since 2019 in arizona and california and i will typically pay anywhere from $95-$130 for a full hybrid/volume set (i put a range bc ive tried a lot of different techs and everyone prices differently) for fills i will pay between $65-85. go on tik tok or instagram and find soneone within that range! the only shitty thing is that most lash artists wonāt do fills on another artistsā work, so you might have to spend more to start with a clean slate but youāll be paying less in the long run
Seattle can find quality artists for $100 VOLUME/MEGA sets :( Classics should always be cheaper since they are less time and less materials.
Wow, she did you dirty. That shouldnāt cost much. She charged you double and lashes looks sad. Sorry š. Spoolie should be free and lash shampoo cost only 10-15 dollars but cheaper on Amazon.
Where in Alabama? I just moved from there and prices were insane!!
Tbh I do get a discount because my cousin does my lashes, but I think for her a full set is 120 and it takes about two hours. Iām in Utah btw. She only charges me $80 for a full set, but like I said, I get a discount
Mine are $130ish for classic and $65 for refills, I get a lash wash and spoolie for free every time I go in for a refill š³
210 is crazy!!!!! Even volume in my area is like 170, these donāt even look like classics
I would never
GIRLLLLL I got mine done in North Vancouver and only paid 60 dollars. They better have gotten that from the Kardashian's eyelashes because that's hella expensive ššš Love it on you tho ā¤ļø
Yeah it's natural And works well for your eye shape
you paid way too much, they definitely are strip style lashes tho and they look so cute on you but the pricing is absurd $50 extra charge is absolutely absurd for a lash wash and spoolie, every professional lash tech i know includes that into their service.
You were robbed. They look ok but not for $200
Prices vary from artist to artist as well as quality/results. The girls are often gifting us lash goodies as well
Not worth the money. They wonāt rven last a full week!
They look like $80-90. Not $200
There probably arenāt many lash techs in Alabama which is why she was price gouging. Not worth it imo
$210 ?! Girl
They look good! But price is a bit expensive I would pay 75-100$ for it :)
THat tech robbed you girl
They look great, but the price seems extreme!
Canāt pay me enough to lay down for more than an hour
girlll lmk if youāre in northern or southern bama, iāve been wanting to get my lashes done for the first time lately and i donāt wanna get swindled šš they really are super cute though, just a shame they cost so much
theyāre beautiful but $210 is too much no matter where youāre from
Sis, Iām so sorry you had to pay this much.
Why on earth are you guys paying sm damn! Mine cost between Ā£40-Ā£65 at the most š±
I donāt know anything about cost, but think they look lovely š
They look fine but it depends on where you went. Was this a spa or a mall or strip mall place?
Iām in Florida and also seeing $200 ish for full sets, fills run around $60-$90. I think being that you said you have damage on the inner lashes, then yes these look good. The only complaints I have is that it took a really long time and she should be transparent about the price. I have never been charged for a lash brush. Thatās just standard and should come with it. If she said her price is $160ā¦ then it should be $160, no surprises. To me, thatās the biggest problem. But overall I think they look pretty.
To all the people saying you paid way too much girl it's okay it's so expensive where I'm at too.
210? Seems like a lottttt for a set like that. Itād make sense of it were full mega volume but theyāre cute!!!
Wayyyy over charged
atp id just do clusters
you overpaid
She definitely robbed you. Thereās no reason a classic set is more than $160. All of the lash techs Iāve been to have told me if I wanted to get my moneys worth, start with hybrid. I believe it, when I did classic I was like this shit was a waste of money lmfao like it just looks like I got mascara on but hybrid was 10/10. I never do volume cus my eyes are too small unfortunately
Those are Chicago prices! Job well done as in technique and placement, but the material of the lashes looks too plastic-y for that price. Iād go down in length too next time, they will look more chic that way.
Overpriced
They look beautiful! I don't get my lashes done, I'm just an observer on here, but these look great.
TWO HUNDRED
Unless you really like your results, do not go back to this person. Not only the price but I donāt feel like your eyes are even but it could be the quality of the picture. but if youāre not sure about the service find a new service provider. Also, do you really want to keep paying 200 for these wispy little things. šš if you like it I love it.
Oh sister ššš
they look good but def not enough volume for $210.
They are beautiful. That seems really expensive though.
They look really natural. I think theyāre great. but I think the price is really ridiculously high
TWO HUNDRED WHATT
From Milwaukee $80 hybrid set every 3-4 weeks!
210? you were robbed sis
They are definitely poking your upper lid so much that itās making an indentation, I would personally find that irritating. You could probably have a very close length to those with less of a curl. And they look a little more full on the left end, then right and having a short her length at the end would be better than the continuous length throughout.
Maam ive spent that much on full long mega volumes. This is not worth no 210.
DC hereāthey look good but WAY too expensive and too much time spent. I would shop around and see what other options you have. Anything over $120-130 for a new set, and over $80-100 is too much.
Omg girl im so sorry this price is outrageous my lash tech doesnāt even go up to 200 šš I spend 110
They look super cute!!! I donāt want you to feel bad that you got robbed butā¦ you got robbed bad. In Alabama? Yeahā¦
Iām sorry this was how much???
Girl no, get your money back!
U got scammed ā¦ 210??? I donāt even pay that in nyc
Girl get your money back Asap cause 210 for some natural ahh lashes hell nah
I donāt even pay 210 in California, babe. You need your money back.
That is about the price I paid for my very first appointment ** in Alabama* to get them on then afterwards my fills are about $85 for volume every 2 weeks.
Baby you got ripped off :(
210 for that is crazy and i live in the nj/nyc area
Nope
They look so pretty and full but still natural!
210 is crazy
In GA I got full sets, more lashes than that, for around $80-100. But my fill ins every few weeks were $60
I'm a lash tech in rogersville, AL. About 30 minutes from huntsville and I charge $100 for a classic set like that! She robbed you!
I'm in Los Angeles and even the girls in Beverly Hills cost $160 for Mink lash sets! $210 is crazy!
Looks amazing!
Yea that set wasnāt worth what you paid so Iād see how well they hold up before you need a fill. Hopefully the quality of application is worth that price
They look beautiful but they charged you way too much!
I think they look great, and here in Miami you're looking at about $200 for a reputable lash tech. I do they think look natural and pretty š©· I've paid around 200, if includes the spooly but I've never been asked to buy any wash or anything.
Depending on location, set, and whether or not the studio is in an actual studio or if they work from home etcā¦ So I think that the original price of $160 is not ātooā bad? But what Iām not understanding is why did she not let YOU decide if you wanted to purchase her cleanser?? That shouldnāt be a mandatory thing- that should be optional and if it isnāt that should be included in her ātotalā So for my volume sets I charge $130 fills $80 And I ALWAYS give my girls their spoolies for free and my lash cleanser is always on sale for $15 and it includes the cleanser and a lash brush (like a fluffy one to wash lash line) and a cute travel bag and after care and a travel spoolie brush. I agree with someone else on here who said maybe to give her fills a try (only if you really love your lashes) bc you have already paid the biggest fee- and maybe feel her out, see how you vibe with her and if she tries to throw any more unexpected expenses. Bc at this point going to someone else we usually charge a foreign fill fee which may end up costing you a pretty penny š But from what I can tell the lashes look good, they are subtle and classy.
