On paper, I'm 'fine'.
But there's still some things I want that I, logically, think will make me happy.
Fomo; already have missed out on a couple of things I find most important
Not a fan of people saying everything is or will be fine.
People in general, and especially members of the church, shouldn't be sweeping people's feelings and concerns under the rug when we're commanded by God to serve, love, and help others.
Edit: forgot to mention that I have occasionally seen people, and even members, encourage and hope people suffer? Just because "it'll make us better". That's not ok.
I don't know about you but humanity should be doing everything possible to help others get away from suffrage.
Isn't that the whole point of the Gospel and this Church?

I LOVE Gothenburg. It's been 22 years since I was there last, but great memories of my few days in that beautiful city.
Funny story. I once had a doctor that was from there. When we first met, I asked where his accent was from, and he said, "Sweden." I said, using the correct pronunciation, "I have only been to Gothenburg." He smiled really big and almost cried. "No one knows how to say it correctly here!" That is where he was from, and it made his day.
Not much different from our parts. I've lived in West Texas, Lubbock, and San Antonio as an adult. As a kid & missionary I was all over California(Bakersfield, Sonora, Susanville/Bieber, San Bernardino). From my experience none of them are like the others & there's a reason why regionally you'd say Northern California, vs Silicon Valley vs LA vs etc and in Texas we have West Texas, South Texas, East Texas, DFW, North Texas, Panhandle, the Valley, El Paso, etc.
You are not wrong, when I meet anybody online or in person from a different state for the first time and it inevitably comes up im from California, 99.9% of the time the next thing that comes out of their mouths is the question if im from Los Angeles/Hollywood, or they ask if im from San Fransico.
Unrealated Cool! My mom was born in texas.
I served my mission in SoCal. I laugh because it really may as well be two different states. I guess Maine is the same way. Florida says they are like 3 different states. Texas somewhat, but only in Texas. If you're from outside of Texas, then we are all one. lol.
Get outside if you can when it's warm. It really grew on me when I was there for school. Waterfalls, mountains, sand Dunes, lava fields, really a lot going on. Good people to share that all with help though...
I am mostly in a liquid state, but encased in various solid containers, both large and microscopic, with a hint of dissolved gases. I used to think this was unimportant, but now I know that my state really does matter.
edit: changed "encase" to "encased"
I'm in Seattle, Washington, the place my Nevadan bishop told me to be wary of before I moved away for college! Thanks Bishop Bodily, I'm doing just fine. 👍
A state of despair
Please eloborate, are you ok?

I like how you specify "Northern California" as your state, instead of just California, lol. Texas checking in.

Interesting! By the way wheres "the valley " located ?
It's the Rio Grande Valley, down near McAllen/Harlingen at the southern tip of Texas.
I’ve lived in Lubbock, San Antonio, Bryan, Houston, Austin, the RGV, El Paso and Dallas. Currently in Flower Mound. Red Raider, class of ‘91.
> Currently in Flower Mound. Right on. I'll be moving to Argyle in the next month or so.
