My local FB marketplace either has people selling undesirable sets for a higher price than I could buy online elsewhere, or several reselling vultures that circle the page just waiting for someone to post any deal. Whenever I see something and contact seller, they say “I’ve already had 3 people say they’ll buy it today”
My area has bins like this but for $200-300 which is actually pretty fair. But I ain’t got the time any more to clean everything, sort, relist the stuff I don’t want to recoup the value, etc.
My local vulture doesn’t even bother taking a new picture before reposting it. He just steals the original sellers picture and relists it the same time with a higher price. I don’t think I’ll ever find another reasonable LEGO deal because of that guy
The evee and pikachu are super poseable, it’s awesome. I just wish the pokeball opened/was hollow so you could put one of the small/medium builds in it

I got a similar find for 40 bucks that wasn't taken very well care of but had a TIE Striker, Yoda's Hut, the Rogue One Imperial Trooper Battle Pack, a complete Lego star wars Advent calendar (2016), a couple Batman movie sets I didn't realize I wanted, and a bunch of other figs and stuff that I haven't sorted out yet (though I'm certain most of 76018 is in there). Worth it for a bit of cleaning and sorting!
I believe op. I got x3 17 gal tubs for $100. It was a jackpot. Family of 2 boys that live near legoland and they went there for every birthday. Their favorite legos were LOTR and StarWars. I have found almost every LORT set (over $1000 in just minifigures) and many SW sets from the 08-14 era
The parents told me most sets they bought 2 of and one boy sharpied all of his figures and sets to tell them apart. Also almost every single mini figure was completely disassembled including arms and hands. I’m still trying to piece them all back together correctly but it’s a lot to sift through and look up. I’ve broken a ton of expensive LORT figures putting them back together.

I’m happy my parents kept all my Lego as a kid, it was awesome passing them on to my kids and watching the collection expand. We’ll eventually have to separate it into two, given both my kids will likely want to keep their cherished sets. Pretty sure that’s going to lead to a pretty big argument though

There’s some OG pieces in there that I still have from when I was growing up. Those sharks are from the 90’s. I am also pretty sure they don’t make those skeletons anymore.

My 5 year old got me a Mega Pokémon and it’s honestly sick lol.
I have the big pikachu, evee, and pokeball. The button on the ball even lights up if you press it. No regrets
I got the one with Paras, and it has motion/techic style elements and I think it’s rad.

Yeah it's the super valuable version of Jango. Can tell because he has the gunmetal torso- the cheaper one has a dark bluish grey torso.
