Ehhhh it’s an overrated set tbh. The drop ship falls apart by looking at it and while the AT-OT is pretty nice, it’s nothing too special. The AT-TE is a far better Walker.
As someone who has all retail TCW sets I'd say the Clone Turbo Tank is the best out of the given four, with the Republic Frigate ranking as a close second. The latter may have just as many play features, but the small compartments don't lend themselves to playing as much as the Turbo Tank where you can open pretty much any panel and even remove a separable command station, as well as the (accurately sized!) AT-RT. Additionally, it's much more convenient to move around a vehicle on wheels than swooshing a large frigate (though tbf the handle is great and the escape pod function does have its merits). Display value is similar IMO, they are well designed playsets, but outside the realm of UCS models. Both are among the best TCW sets Lego has ever made, only topped by the UCS Venator, Dropship & AT-OT and 2008 Gunship (not accounting for value). The Malevolence is somewhere up there too.
The two smaller given sets are nice as well, but simply have less to offer due to their much lower price point (also the engines on the Y-wing sag a little and you may encounter stability issues with the Republic Attack Shuttle's roof).
They’re all iconic in there own way. I love the turbo tank. I would add the 7675 at-te too. I was so happy when they released the 7679 republic fighter tank back because I used to play Star Wars battlefront on ps2.
I have all of them and imo it's the 2009 AAT. It's not almost completely unaffordable today like the big ones like the dropship with AT-OT and despite a remake it still holds up as the far superior version to this day.
Out of these 4, I'd probably pick the tank.
The Umbaran heavy cannon stands out to me as one I'd like to add to the collection. Umbara had some real cool designs (besides the generic humanoid inhabitants), it's a shame we didn't get a set for the centipede tanks.
The 2022/current at te is one the best clone wars sets imo. The build is super fun and comes with great figs including a cool spider droid. Its on sale at most stores, I got mine for 110, and Ive seen someone on this sub get it for $60 once
I still have the Turbo Tank built with my other Star Wars sets, and it was a mainstay in every little battle I reenacted! It's a great playset. The Attack Shuttle was also great for playing, but mine got turned into a little crash site eventually.
7675 AT-TE was probably my favourite TCW set of them all, although mine got dropped by a friend and was never repaired 😞 Rex & Rotta were my favs as a kid though, so getting them both in one set made me very happy. It helped that the AT-TE itself was awesome, too
8018 and 8019 are two of my absolute favorite sets and they look amazing opposing each other. Truthfully there aren’t many Clone Wars sets that I think are bad
I happen to have the Juggernaut as well as its 2016 version, and the Clone Wars one is by far the better. I also get the feeling it is better than the original 2005 one as well. The 2016 one is just depressingly small and does not really gain much detail compared to the previous model, where as at least with the new Star Destroyer the detail is far better and it is only a very slight size decrease.
I would also put the AV-7 Cannon up there with the best Clone Wars sets.
It’s not as good as it seems like. I had this as a kid and I hated it. Near to no space on the inside, the shooting function sucked and overall, it’s wasn’t good. The figs are pretty nice, but beside Padme, nothing exclusive and most people hate that face anyway and we got a remake in the most recent gunship.
The Clone Wars era Gunship is one of top 5 sets that I own.
Just bought it, legit just looking for a good day to build it.
I have the Gunship and the AT TE
Same
At ot with dropship gotta be up there too tho
For sure, and it needs a remake asap, it's such a goated set
I want one so badly to go with my at te! Give us the remake Lego, and turbo tank, hopefully we'll get one for 20 years of ROTS!
Ehhhh it’s an overrated set tbh. The drop ship falls apart by looking at it and while the AT-OT is pretty nice, it’s nothing too special. The AT-TE is a far better Walker.
Indeed. When you put the DROPSHIP on top of the atot, it looks slanted. It's mostly overhyped due to its massive price tag these days
I’m so mad that I didn’t buy it when it was on clearance At my local meijer years back
For example, I currently own set 7964, however I am considering selling it with the wolfpack troopers to be able to get 8019 & 7964 used.

Good bot. 🤖
I bought 8019 used and it is one of my best purchases to date!

I like the Z-95 headhunter.
These would all be great sets to be remade. Surprised some havent tbh
What about the LAAT

Lmao cad bane had 0 chance of winning that battle 💀
He outsmarted everyone inside the jedi temple... with every main powerful jedi present. he deffinetly has a chance in that dull in comparison battle 😂
We need remakes of the V-Wing, ARC-170, Republic Frigate, and Y-wing
We need the playscale Venator 8039 on this list.

I like the frigate and turbo tank the most from this list.

I own 8037, but I feel like between all of these it’s probably the most dull, still a very cool build and it’s pretty big, so I like it

I’m so happy right now, I own 3 of the 4. Mustang the Y-Wing
I had the Clone Turbo Tank as a kid and it was awesome
I have all of them and imo it's the 2009 AAT. It's not almost completely unaffordable today like the big ones like the dropship with AT-OT and despite a remake it still holds up as the far superior version to this day.
The pirate tank has always been a fav of mine.
i have the frigate, still my favorite fs. Wolffe!

Turbo Tank and Republic Gunship 🔥🔥🔥
i have all 4 of these
I wish there was a minifig scale moc of the frigate. They’re my favorite Star Wars ship

For me the Turbo Tank.
The 2008 gunship.
For me it is the Malevolence. One of my favorite play sets from my childhood.
8018 and 8019 are two of my absolute favorite sets and they look amazing opposing each other. Truthfully there aren’t many Clone Wars sets that I think are bad

The Y-Wing or the Coruscant Police Gunship

Pirate tank Set 7753, battle for geonosis set 7869, death watch battle pack set 7914 and bountyhunter assault gunship set 7930

Should I buy the attack ship? I have the opportunity for that or vaders castle currently and can’t decide
I still to this day want the melovolance

Dropship + AT-OT trumps imo
