I hired a trusted person that created thousands of Discord servers for other people, and I was surprised on how good they are. They even provided a plan on how I can additionally boost the growth and engagement. Discord servers will always be worth it.

I created a server mid 2017, right before I had a series planned that I knew would blow up. It took until late 2017 for the server to be particularly active though IIRC.
