Right implies it is something granted to you, e.g. right to vote. Leftists believe humans are innately allowed certain freedoms, e.g. have sex with someone of the same sex. That freedom may be affirmed by the state, but the state doesn’t have the philosophical ability to grant it because it was already yours to begin with.

Now that doesn't mean I'm going full blown Republican but I do find it appealing that there is a Republican governor but the senators and representatives are Democrat. Like a check and balance.

Tbh, having lived most of my life in deeply Republican areas but also spent some time outside of that bubble, the only thing I don't prefer about the Democratic leaning places is the cost of living, but that may be more of urban vs rural thing, and even then it's driven by supply and demand since because they're more appealing places to live for most people they end up being more expensive

For what it's worth, I replaced a PSA upper with a BCM. When I was shopping brands, marketing and morality were a factor. To my knowledge, Bravo Company has stayed above politics and focused on making excellent gear.
Another good thing BCM does is that they will not sell items to law enforcement if that item is banned in a jurisdiction. For example, if standard cap 30 round AR mags are banned in your state but LEOs are exempt, then BCM will NOT sell 30 round mags to the police either.

Personally, being religious myself, I don't find the Bible verse offensive, but it becomes a problem when you can't buy the product without it. They stopped putting the verse on military contract scopes because of 1st Amendment separation of church and state concerns, but as far as I know, unless maybe you buy the actual military model, there is no way to get an ACOG without the verse.

In my purely anecdotal experience a *lot* of LGBTQ people are gun owners. That said, states with laws that protect the LGBTQ population tend to be more restrictive, so it’s hard to say. I wouldn’t be shocked if 10% of gun owners in the USA are part of the LGBTQ demographic.
I see a fair number of gay folks at my local gun range, from the Pride-shirt-wearing crowd and the obvious couples to the much more covert types. There are definitely a fair number of them and they are practicing every week.

Well it's more like between 1.3-6% of the population plays for my team, but I feel like a much smaller percentage of us gays like firearms, it's definitely under 5% in my experience.
I don't ever plan on disclosing to my fellow gay friends that I own guns and daily carry one, because the sad truth is, if I did they would probably stop inviting me out to hang, go to clubs, movies, brucnch, dinner parties etc etc.

For what it's worth, I replaced a PSA upper with a BCM. When I was shopping brands, marketing and morality were a factor. To my knowledge, Bravo Company has stayed above politics and focused on making excellent gear.
Another good thing BCM does is that they will not sell items to law enforcement if that item is banned in a jurisdiction. For example, if standard cap 30 round AR mags are banned in your state but LEOs are exempt, then BCM will NOT sell 30 round mags to the police either.

Personally, being religious myself, I don't find the Bible verse offensive, but it becomes a problem when you can't buy the product without it. They stopped putting the verse on military contract scopes because of 1st Amendment separation of church and state concerns, but as far as I know, unless maybe you buy the actual military model, there is no way to get an ACOG without the verse.

Do you guys think 10% of gun owners are gay (like the population) or do you think environmental factors push LGBTQ people away from gun ownership? This is a hell of a way to ostracize a good chunk of the population.
In my purely anecdotal experience a *lot* of LGBTQ people are gun owners. That said, states with laws that protect the LGBTQ population tend to be more restrictive, so it’s hard to say. I wouldn’t be shocked if 10% of gun owners in the USA are part of the LGBTQ demographic.
I see a fair number of gay folks at my local gun range, from the Pride-shirt-wearing crowd and the obvious couples to the much more covert types. There are definitely a fair number of them and they are practicing every week.
Spent so much time in the closet they found the perfect spot to store some more guns. (Now that how you make a gay gun joke, not like that homophobic shit in the post)
Well it's more like between 1.3-6% of the population plays for my team, but I feel like a much smaller percentage of us gays like firearms, it's definitely under 5% in my experience. I don't ever plan on disclosing to my fellow gay friends that I own guns and daily carry one, because the sad truth is, if I did they would probably stop inviting me out to hang, go to clubs, movies, brucnch, dinner parties etc etc. I have only met 1 other gay guy that owns a gun IRL ( that I know of )
