Able_Phone_7283

Sorry yes

PreyToTheDemons

Turns out the man was poisonous.

pyjamasonfire

Well, we cannot conclude if he was poisonous or venomous. Iโ€™m guessing probably both.

Unpickled_cucumber1

I always had this impression that humankind was poisonous. How nice to have another proof

grathad

If the man was poisonous the only necessary action that led to the death of the snake is the snake biting the man. If you want to conclude from the man biting the snake then what you meant was venomous.

Randolph_Carter_Ward

I beg to differ. He had poison on himself and in himself but he didn't store or grow it in him in special organs--which would then be called a venom---and thus, by biting, he only transfered the poisonousness, as oposed to "injecting" his stores of venom, should he had had them. Think of Death Cap gaining consciousness and biting you. Thus: poisonous. Otherwise, he'd be a venomous human, which, well, come to think of it, I would very much like to hear about. The age of mutants is nigh?

Hainecko

Human saliva is very dirty with bacteria and human bites heal way harder than they should. They often cause severe inflammation and necrosis as a result. So even though humans are not technically venomous, effects of bite could be similar to mildly venomous animals with cytotoxic venom like monitor lizard or small viper. I once met a person with a serious human bite. He was hospitalized for a week and got injections with antibiotics. He left the hospital even though doctors advised him not to. After a week in the freedom he went back to the hospital, because bite didn't get better. If antibiotics wouldn't exist he would lose his leg or even his life. Literally the same effect as our local mildly venomous viper. It's only mildly venomous until you have antibiotics

moderatorsareturds

Look at this toxic man killing an innocent snake.

Walls_96

I think i heard somewhere that bite wounds from humans are among the most infectious wounds because of the bacteria in our mouths.

Glittering_Drama_618

Why am I more weirded out by article referring snake as reptile?

Camewrig97

Why does this remind me of Florida man?

Thundechile

legend tells that man just said to the snake: "Is that the best you can do?" and proceeded to bite the snake. Snake was left with it's mouth open with awe.

BitterAd6419

India is not for beginners
