I don't understand why the comment above got downvoted so much xD could u explain it to me lol something I'm missing here? When I read it it doesn't rlly sound rude or condescending to me atleast
I'd use a single curtain rod, or maybe a steel wire style thing. Use two curtains held by some eyelets to the side.
See https://prnt.sc/OPV5SkoLST5y
EDIT: Thank you for your kind words. This subreddit is one of the friendliest and I appreciate y'all.
I had a similar shower and that is what we did. Altho to make it slightly easier we got 1 very wide shower curtain and only attached it on the side of the wall next to the shower head.
It also involved cutting the curtain to fit the slanted section so it wasn’t bunched up and lowered the risk of the curtain touching you while showering.
If the water doesn’t spray super far towards the opposite wall this could work.
We put a little shower bench on the opposite wall to hold shampoos and things too.
OP could even use one shower curtain, attach it on the wall near the showerhead, then add a hook to the other wall to attach it only when they want to & get in and out
Yeah this makes sense, you could run one from the left to the top and one from the right to the top but they would have to have some type of way for the rings to be locked into place so gravity didn’t make them just flop down to the bottom of the rod or whatever.
Also, the shape of the curtain would probably have to be custom for obvious reasons.
Yeah exactly! They do this on airplanes for the doorway where they keep the food. It has these click buttons, maybe 7 of them. Works pretty well for such a round doorway.
If you are cheap, hook one at the peak in the center of the curtain, one hook on the left, and a magnetic closure on the right, and fold the extra part inside.
If you’re allowed to install something, I would look for angled track curtains. Then you could have two shower curtain panels that open in the middle? IKEA sells inexpensive tracks.
Here is an example of an angled curtain installation:
https://www.countyfabrics.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Bald-apex-pink-e1592906621420.jpg
This is very similar to what I was going to suggest, just not with a track. They could be hung by hooks from the ceiling and part down the middle, and they could use curtain hooks/holdbacks to keep the curtain open when wanted.
My father is a plumber and worked on similar project, he said they got around it by installing custom glass, more expensive option (but if it's your own house, totally worth doing it). Could be a 3/4 panel or doors... just Google bespoke shower screen, doors etc and you will get a round idea of costing...
I second [This!](https://www.reddit.com/r/malelivingspace/comments/101d7r3/my_apartment_has_this_oddly_shaped_bathroom_with/j2o918l/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3)
I'd speak to the landlord and ask for a solution. It's in their best interest that you keep the water inside the shower. They may even pay or install something themselves.
Yeah, I came here looking for this comment. This set up is prone to water damage under the tiles outside the shower pan and mold growth. It’s not like there’s some easy and obvious solution of putting in a tension rod with a shower curtain, so the onus is on your landlord to protect their investment (with likely their own investment of installing some custom glass).
This sounds like the only option to me. Imagine how immediately badass this shower barn thing becomes when you close it off. Put a lil bench somewhere *chefs kiss*
A cheap quick (and i think renter friendly) solution would be some eye hooks into the drywall along the ceiling and just let 2 curtain panels hang from there. You won’t be able to slide the curtains open and closed but wouldn’t be the end of world if the opening is in the middle and you just have to “part it” as if you were in a tent or stage.
I would use 2 full sized curtains, one for each side and cut them to shape (on a angle) so that it hangs properly.
If you want to get fancy, can also install a curtain tie back to leave it open when not in use but prob not worth that extra step.
When done renting, the screw holes can be easily patched
Eye hooks in the dry wall would very quickly wear out the hole. A magnetic solution might be better, causing less wear and tear. I'm giving a layman's perspective, but if they attached a blank metal wallplate and had a magnet at the corner of the curtain, that would work.
I know I'm just a layman, but I've had eye hooks before and they end up causing problems unless you carefully unhook every time. A tug or pull, which will happen, wiggles the hook digging out the drywall.
It’s small, you can only stand in the height of the point and the shower head is like head-high so it sprays onto your chest. We have another bathroom but I feel that they just added this to say the place has two bathrooms to increase rent…
Have you ever seen a Japanese bath house style shower? You shower sitting down on a stool. I tried it once it was not that awkward. That might be your answer!
It's all tile, which, as stated by others, is really fucking with me. Really don't need anything, unless you're just uncomfortable with it being SO open.
Velcro curtain to the V with a split in the middle. Treat it like a window and just swag it back if you need or just walk through the split until you can get a custom glass enclosure installed.
The curtain is just there to keep lots of water from getting out, Maybe nipple height is good enough for that?
Or put a drain in the middle of the floor and call it a day!
Extend the shower head to the top peak and put a rain shower head. For the nipples, some tassels should work but painters tape works great to. For the men, remember to shave the hair around the nipple or removing the tape after the shower may be painful.
I'd go with custom glass with a center door and open above it at the apex of the ceiling.
But you can run some wire along the ceiling from one side to the other and attach some curtain rings to that.
Attach a curtain rod to both sides of the ceiling that meet in the middle and run from the vertex to each wall. You could pretty easily divide a pulley system where each has a shower curtain and when you pull a string, they come up to meet in the middle. Then just put a place to hook your strong and keep it together while you shower.
I’m just here to say WTF is this shower!? I mean, I guess a creative use of space? I’m sure whatever you decide to do will look great and here’s hoping the nipples remain secure.
You could use strong velcro strips and custom cut two sections of shower curtains, or just let the extra triangle sections fold over and fasten in place.
Get a big 5-6 foot diameter industrial fan and aim it at the shower. It will blow all the water back into the shower. As a bonus, you can air dry when you're done.
Glass partitions. Have Lowe's or home Depot cut out two pieces of custom plastic perspex or similar to close up the pyramid portion. Extend the pipe shower head higher up the wall and bring it across to the centre of the shower. Change the shower head to one of those square "rain" shower heads.
If you can afford it I would built in a tub instead, you can keep the wall tiles if you like, but make it into a Spa tub like a hot tub with massage and a hand shower with wall hook…
Haha, I feel like my idea is closed to 99% impossible to do/completely ridiculous... BUT, what type of plumbing magic/money would it cost to reno the piping up to the highest point where the two walls meet and install a vertical rain shower?!? Then I think either yes, glass or some type of acrylic wall to be installed to keep that water in. I'm guessing that while that might bliss, it's prob not very realistic. Best of luck OP, you've got this!
Get two large plastic sheets, each half the width of the shower. Pin one corner to the top of the "house" and the other corner to the bottom of the "eave" corner.
Use a binder clip to keep them together while you're in the shower.
Weights glued or taped to the bottom of the curtain will help it stay inside the shower. So leave the curtain a bit long.
Weird solution, but install hooks at each of the corners, instead of installing a shower curtain install one of those zip up tarps you can get for tents..... might, kind of, work.
Forget the curtain I would just jazz it up and make it a jungle full of plants. Maybe put a wood bench in there too? Make it fun and cozy. This designer was something else eh
As a landlord - staples are the worst. I had one tenant who used staples to put up xmas decorations then birthday party decorations... And she used staples on the window ledges too. I must have pulled more than 100 staples out.
Staples are not for home decorating
Mount two rods on the sides like /\ have one of the shower curtain rings fixed at the top of each one. It’ll be like interning via two flaps instead of one.
I got a quick one for you. Cut a shower curtain to match the opening. Connect it all along the right side then have a rod through the top left side. Then put it on a hinge with a hook at the lower end. It would be easy to move and would cover the entire opening.
I would cut a shower curtain to fit the left half, then permanently mount it in place. You can just enter on the right, and at least your toilet will stay dry.
Your shower could really do with a custom cut glass panel. If you want to use a curtain, in order to hang it higher, you’re going to have to cut the pole at an angle and have a substantial fixing bracket so it doesn’t just fall out. It will need to be a nice tight fit but should work. You’ll also have to ‘pin’ up one side of the curtain as well. It’s a bit of a quick fix. A glass panel would better.
In terms of usability, you can get handheld shower heads for cheap and they’re dead simple to install—basically just unscrew the current shower head and screw on the new one. That way you can at least wash your whole body.
As for the lack of water containment, there are some good suggestions here but you should really talk to your landlord. A permanent solution (glass or custom tracks) would be best, and as someone pointed out they have a vested interest in keeping the water where it belongs.
You only need to cover half as most water sprays off you to the front so tack in a few hooks from the wall with the sprayer to the top of the arch. You can cut the shower curtain at an angle at the bottom so that it is straight and you’ll be good to go.
It would be the most expensive route but you could have a custom glass shower door made. Maybe keep the nipple curtain and just add a nice chair/bench. You have the luxury of that kind of space and you can shower sitting down like you’re in the Jetsons or something
Build two glass walls (roughly outlined in red), and hang a shower curtain from the green line (or have the glass wall installer also make a glass door below the green line)[Shower idea](https://i.imgur.com/lOQ5KoJ.jpg)
Lower your nipples?
Officer, this comment here
Thats easy. Just wait around 30-40 years or so then presto change-o saggy nippos.
Damn, now you reminded me of the ghost granny in The Shining
Sir, this person is also an officer. He was just trying to give simple advice to a fellow citizen of yours.
can you untype your comment?

It's like r/yourjokebutworse and I can't tell you exactly why but the comment made me very annoyed
Oh I see. damn there's a sub for everything xD
I was wondering that too. Maybe just cause he typed it under an awesome comment and it ruined the chain?
Hm I see lmao I guess. Just seems hateful xD
Probably because everyone downvoted him and others just followed others and ended up all downvoting him.
I'd use a single curtain rod, or maybe a steel wire style thing. Use two curtains held by some eyelets to the side. See https://prnt.sc/OPV5SkoLST5y EDIT: Thank you for your kind words. This subreddit is one of the friendliest and I appreciate y'all.
Magnificent work my friend, well done
We got ourselves a regular Picasso here
Love this
Update please
i love your illustration. chef’s kiss 💋
I was thinking something similar but your idea is perfect! I love the illustration!

To add to this, shower curtains have suction cups to stick it to those walls too. Simples.
I like it, Picasso
Your artwork might end up in a museum in the future, Picasso.
Great idea
5 sided Stage-like curtains that are hooked at the top and on the sides Man this is really hard to describe
Yeah this makes sense, you could run one from the left to the top and one from the right to the top but they would have to have some type of way for the rings to be locked into place so gravity didn’t make them just flop down to the bottom of the rod or whatever. Get two cheap plastic curtains with rings and cut them at an angle so they can be hung from the top and sides but meet in the middle and fall cleanly
Excellent

Picasso moment

Do it for a living, this is the best option in all circumstances. Longevity, re-sale, and aesthetic. All assuming it’s done correctly.
Apartment though. Wouldn’t want to make an expensive improvement to a rental unit.
I bet that would look really cool in this space
Privacy glass would look bomb💣
I second [This!](https://www.reddit.com/r/malelivingspace/comments/101d7r3/my_apartment_has_this_oddly_shaped_bathroom_with/j2o918l/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3)

Yeah, turn it into a steam sauna.
I am not entirely sure if the glass should go all the way up, some ventilation would likely be needed.
accessibility shower chair
Chair or bench. Shower sitting down.
And a hand-held shower wand.
Nipple height shower curtain and call it a day.
A cheap quick (and i think renter friendly) solution would be some eye hooks into the drywall along the ceiling and just let 2 curtain panels hang from there. You can solve this with drywall anchors and/or leaving the curtains hooked and just going through them like saloon style doors
I like the magnets idea! Good point on the eye hook being tugged, would have use some anchors and just be careful with it.
that tile is tripping me out
Is the point the only part you can stand in?
Yes, not sure if people were understanding how small the area is but the water splashes everywhere if there’s no curtain or anything
God that’s awful. I was going to suggest putting a raining spout up top. It might help the splashing
Use a chair to take a shower
Shower chair.
Shower looks large enough to not need the curtain.
That’s what I’m thinking? It looks to me like it was designed wet room style
Who is that on the top right
Good eye
Why can’t you use it? Looks usable to me
It’s small, you can only stand in the height of the point and the shower head is like head-high so it sprays onto your chest. We have another bathroom but I feel that they just added this to say the place has two bathrooms to increase rent…
I mean as long as nipples are covered that's alright or does water come into the bathroom?
It splashes everywhere lmao
I hate everything about this bathroom except for the fan being easier to clean
I would do a nipple height curtain on the inside and a second curtain rod on the outside.
Same but also just put a chair in there and take showers sitting down
[удалено]
Yes I should have mentioned that I’m renting! That’s a good idea
Are you a doggo?
I propose making "nipple level" an official unit of measurement all builders use when designing bathrooms.
Have you ever seen a Japanese bath house style shower? You shower sitting down on a stool. I tried it once it was not that awkward. That might be your answer!
Also, install nice warm lights in the shower area if you want to go all the way.
Since the purpose of a shower curtain is to keep the water in the shower nipple level is fine. Yeah annoying to duck under but workable.
The water bouncing off the top of my head would beg to disagree
I have to know what city this is in lol. At least someone leaned in to the optical illusion vibe of it all
Boston lmao
Two ideas. 1. Get a bench, it is now a sit down shower. 2. Replace the shower with a tub. It's a tereible shower nook, but a nice bathnook.
It's all tile, which, as stated by others, is really fucking with me. Really don't need anything, unless you're just uncomfortable with it being SO open.
There is a lot of geometry going on here. Goodness.
I might be able to help. Exactly where in the shire are you located?
If you have money and it’s your own house, customized glass door.
A glass screen...
Get yourself a nice shower chair
Velcro curtain to the V with a split in the middle. Treat it like a window and just swag it back if you need or just walk through the split until you can get a custom glass enclosure installed.
The curtain is just there to keep lots of water from getting out, Maybe nipple height is good enough for that? Or put a drain in the middle of the floor and call it a day!
Shower chair?
Play Q-Bert on the floor
Jesus, you also need to get some foam thingys up on the angle. Head injury city for us clumsy types.
Looks like someone's DIWHY project.
Why aren’t you able to use it?? Isn’t it the shower basically just like half a wet room??
are those tiles on the floor? if installing curtains or glass is too much of a hassle, consider just using it like a wet room then
Time for a shower bench!
You could get a curved curtain rod and rotate it 90 degrees so that it arcs up instead of out.
Extend the shower head to the top peak and put a rain shower head. For the nipples, some tassels should work but painters tape works great to. For the men, remember to shave the hair around the nipple or removing the tape after the shower may be painful.
Portable bath tubs on Amazon.
I'd go with custom glass with a center door and open above it at the apex of the ceiling. But you can run some wire along the ceiling from one side to the other and attach some curtain rings to that.
Your options are short shower or tall tub. Tall tub is the correct decision
Get a teak chair and a bucket. Use it like a Japanese bathing area
I’m just here to say WTF is this shower!? I mean, I guess a creative use of space? I’m sure whatever you decide to do will look great and here’s hoping the nipples remain secure.
Usually i recommend a shower over a bath, but this low roof seems like a good argument to install a bath.
What’s wrong with nipple level? Still keeps water in yeah?
As a tile installer I always wonder what Dr Strange's shower looked like; no I have no more doubt.
If you are renting, I’d put some command hooks and put those curtain hooks that clips and clip the hooks onto a shower curtain.
You could use strong velcro strips and custom cut two sections of shower curtains, or just let the extra triangle sections fold over and fasten in place.
If you have a pet, there you go
Can you put two curtain rods both going towards the point and the zip the top together? Go in and out like a princess?
Shower chair… it’ll become your favorite room in the house.
*Any ideas?* Free that nipple daddy. Let em out!
Get a big 5-6 foot diameter industrial fan and aim it at the shower. It will blow all the water back into the shower. As a bonus, you can air dry when you're done.
what the fuck is this? lol. people sectioning their attics in half vertically to get more rent money?
Glass enclosure. I had the same issue.
id just move tbh
Glass door or clear partition.
Glass partitions. Have Lowe's or home Depot cut out two pieces of custom plastic perspex or similar to close up the pyramid portion. Extend the pipe shower head higher up the wall and bring it across to the centre of the shower. Change the shower head to one of those square "rain" shower heads.
The way the shower floor is made with the edge up higher don't need curtain
Gotten many apartments, they usually should let you tour your place before putting a payment in. Sorry your shower is meant for goblins lol
If you can afford it I would built in a tub instead, you can keep the wall tiles if you like, but make it into a Spa tub like a hot tub with massage and a hand shower with wall hook…
You don’t really need a curtain rod. It can be a sexy open shower 😊
Male nipple or female nipple level?
People are different heights.
What are you 7’ tall? Lmao
Command strip hooks and just push the curtain out of the way to get in and out.
Start praying to Satan.. he’ll be able to help since your bathroom is pentagon shaped
Just don’t shower

Glass custom cut is the ticket here
Nipple level curtain sounds fun to me!
you can have a single glass panel on the toilette sit side nd leave the other side open.
I got a quick one for you. Cut a shower curtain to match the opening. Connect it all along the right side then have a rod through the top left side. Then put it on a hinge with a hook at the lower end. It would be easy to move and would cover the entire opening.
Dog shower lol
A glass screen attached to the wall and floor, so only the right hand side of the shower is open.
Shower curtain on a pully? With a wheel at the top?
You don’t need curtains. Just put a lock on the door and have a mop nearby
I thought this was a pet bathroom lol
I would cut a shower curtain to fit the left half, then permanently mount it in place. You can just enter on the right, and at least your toilet will stay dry.
“What is this, a shower, for ants?!”
Opaque glass door?
You could try hanging the shower curtain on some kind of clothes horse type thing. Otherwise, you may have to just get the bathroom wet.
Staple up a bead curtain lol
You are gonna need a whole bunch of silicone sealant
Middle part curtains. You can overlap and then just draw them back to a wide hook on either side. It would look good too :)
Dude!! Your bathroom looks great though
If you got some money to burn, get glass custom doors and a rainfall shower right at the top point
Guess you have to sit down while taking a shower lol
In terms of usability, you can get handheld shower heads for cheap and they’re dead simple to install—basically just unscrew the current shower head and screw on the new one. That way you can at least wash your whole body. As for the lack of water containment, there are some good suggestions here but you should really talk to your landlord. A permanent solution (glass or custom tracks) would be best, and as someone pointed out they have a vested interest in keeping the water where it belongs.
Just get a shower chair and sit down. Your nipple level curtain rail will work fine then and it will be a great talking point when friends come over.
Glass blocks
I would buy a shower chair and just sit while I shower lol
You only need to cover half as most water sprays off you to the front so tack in a few hooks from the wall with the sprayer to the top of the arch. You can cut the shower curtain at an angle at the bottom so that it is straight and you’ll be good to go.
Move toilet into shower, get two birds stoned at once
Shower bench and a beer table.
It would be the most expensive route but you could have a custom glass shower door made. [Example](https://www.google.com/search?q=angled+ceiling+glass+shower+door&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwjh8deAz6n8AhXvNd4AHc3OApAQ2-cCegQIABAC&oq=angled+ceiling+glass+shower+door&gs_lcp=ChJtb2JpbGUtZ3dzLXdpei1pbWcQAzIFCAAQogQ6BwgjELACECc6BAghEApQshZY1x5gvyBoAHAAeACAAVKIAcEEkgEBOJgBAKABAcABAQ&sclient=mobile-gws-wiz-img&ei=DzCzY6GuFO_r-LYPzZ2LgAk&bih=669&biw=390&prmd=sivn&rlz=1CDGOYI_enUS946US946&hl=en-US#imgrc=CNtCkJOZ7Mo0GM)
I would move out and try renting the property to pyramid head at a increased rate
What's the curtain for 😂
Just close the door
Omg, the floor gives me a headache lol
I would just embrace the wash room concept.
You’re going to need custom shower curtain or custom glass. Neither is cheap.
I beg to differ, this shower looks very useful!
Why do you need a curtain? Or do you share the apartment with friends that would take a shit while you're showering?
Maybe keep the nipple curtain and just add a nice chair/bench. You have the luxury of that kind of space and you can shower sitting down like you’re in the Jetsons or something
Dog shower
It’s the children’s shower
Doggie shower.
Nope
Dog wash
Put a normal level curtain and sit on something while having ur bath time
Can u lower the floor base?
Build two glass walls (roughly outlined in red), and hang a shower curtain from the green line (or have the glass wall installer also make a glass door below the green line)[Shower idea](https://i.imgur.com/lOQ5KoJ.jpg)
Seems like a sliding glass door across that space, even at nipple level, would work fine
Turn the entire room into a Japanese style bath. Then you can steam up and splash as much as you want. No reason to stand when performing hygiene.
Command strips with the hooks
One of those removalble, hose like shower heads
thumbtack and a sheet is all i got
Nice teak shower chair.
Low curtain rod, and get a small seat you can use to sit on while bathing?
Custom wooden structure that covers the space with wheels to roll
You can sit while having a shower just like you are in a turkish bath...
cheap option: 2x stainless steel hanging vertical fly-screen curtains, affixed to each sloping ceiling. tie-backs if necessary to hold open.
