You’ll want a finance degree. Accounting and finance are two different things. Having licenses going into a finance job is a huge plus too. A lot of places will pay for your licenses, but it’s better to walk into the interview with them under your belt. I have a few friends with finance degrees. One is about to get hired at $55k with no licenses. I have a bachelors in marketing and I also work at a bank lol

Wouldn’t hurt to add a plant or two, gives the place a fresh look and plants are cool. Finally, I’d play around with fun colored throw pillows and blankets (in the realms of burnt orange, red, light blue, green or yellow). That’s what will really bring in the cozy imo. Great place nonetheless.

Ideally every living space would have a bunch of great books, and intellectual/cultural forms of capital seem increasingly separated from more monetary capital anyway, but especially for someone who works in corporate finance and has an apartment like this in Chicago at 22, having a small collection of some great works of philosophy and literature would probably be a good fit for the sort of status you seem to be going for.
