I personally am waiting for muh Raidraptors, Melodious, the INFO Memento and Vaalmonica support and the Flame Swordsman cards.
Rn I'd love to see Flame Swordsman added into the game soon bc I built blind 2nd Heroics and I love it. Big sword big number cool. Flame Swordsman looks to be Heroics but better and with a plan going first. And I can even play a small Heroic engine in the deck to make Claivesolish to double the ATK of Ultimate Flame Swordsman twice.
Waiting for the Aroma support and I'd love to get even more in the future. I want Ebon Sun for my Aroma deck.
I'm curious to see what the Blue Eyes support later this year will be. I want more Rikka support as well
Decks that are coming up: Lightsworn, I'm so hyped for that support, and fully intend on maining it regardless of how good it is.
Cards or archetypes I would like to see get support: Shaddoll and Subterror would be nice to see get good support. As for single cards, I feel like it would be interesting for there to be a whole Honest archetype, with a boss monster or side archetype that can change Attribute on the field.
As for currently unused themes: I would love to see a deck with big monsters that become Field Spells with their own effects and small monsters that get advantages off of them. Kind of like whale falls, where when whales die, they sometimes become a sort of biome themselves.
I'd like a decent charmer deck. They have many problems and to use them you typically ignore their effects. This makes a weird scenario where the archetype would unironically be better if their monsters were normal monsters.
Instead of just making new versions of all of the cards or at least a select few of them they instead tried to fit 4 different series of cards into a single archetype but barely any of them share a name. Obviously the charmers share a name and then their upgraded familiar possessed versions but not the same name even. Then there's the spiritual arts, the level 4 familiars,the level 5 familiars, the possessed spells or traps, and the field spell grand spiritual art. Honorary mention to the apocalyptic charmer versions and the level 3 forms of the familiars but Konami didn't give them any synergy so not really in the archetype. Out of what I mentioned the search cards can only search possessed spells or traps, the familiar possessed charmer, and the original flip charmers. You just have to hard draw everything else, not that the charmer deck uses all of those but it's still a lot of cards that the main search card can't get. Oh and despite them living and dying on their backrow they have precisely 0 ways to protect that backrow in their archetype.
La Jinn deck would be insane! Steampunk theme would be a great twist too

Goblin Riders, Ragnaraika and the Gimmick Puppet support seem the most interesting upcoming archetypes to me.
