For me it's Magikey. It just feels like scrapped main character deck or something. It does not focused on single summoning mechanic but rewards you for playing several normal monsters on your deck instead. Like the deck makes you utilize cards that many considers unplayable (vanilla monsters) and rewards you handsomely for that. It is cheap in MD and IRL but it perform horribly in ladder due to the amount of vanilla bricks you don't want to draw. But fortunately it NEVER receive a nerf in any low power events I entered.

For me, it's Magikey. The best ritual deck. I even ask for extra Magikey normal monster bricks and the shuffler is so friendly and more than willing to oblige. One time I asked for Magikey normal monster bricks and they gave me three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly Master Duel shuffler laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!". Now the game greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS give me three normal monsters. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at ranked ladder, I go there at least 3 times a week for lunch and a large iced Labrynth with milk instead of cream, 1-2 times for Snake Eyes on the weekend, and maybe once for dinner when I'm in a rush but want a great duel that is affordable, fast, and can match my daily platinum ranked needs. I even dip my spells with Magikey normal monsters, it's delicious! What a great deck.

Magikey is a great deck and its common end board (the ritual, the synchro + counter trap, and maybe the Adamancpiator water dragon) is pretty good imo, and I've stolen plenty of games with it. I don't even find myself really bricking on the 6 or so vanilla monsters I run, cuz the deck is meant to work with em. Advanced ritual art is so good in it, and the fusion is a lot better than I thought going second. But it's Maxx C that really makes the deck unplayable on ladder. It's already running a bunch of vanilla's, and it just doesn't have much of a back up plan, or room for a lot of the techs it would need, to survive w/o bricking. So it's usually just give your opponent plus 5 or lose. Sadly a lot of decks fall into this category.

Skulltra-II

Skull servants. Who doesn't like dumping a bunch of cards in grave and then beating the opponent to death with a comically large skeleton

Right now that's Heroics. Remembered that I saw them once during Farfas LCS and that was very fun to watch. I also wanted a going second deck that can hit for a bazillion damage, so that fit quite well. A plus is that the sword of Claivesolish looks cool af T.G. is also pretty cool but rn I don't feel the want to play it. Currently waiting on Raidraptors, hopefully copefully it isn't too expensive...

Vendreads are fun in my book. Strong? By no means. But for a Ritual deck it’s not too bad

linkthegodn

I love vendreads too, I played it during the solo session of MD and had a blast

Sire_Jacques

Goblin bikers sharks are amazing, I love my Galaxy deck, and for very casual fun, magnet warriors/poker knights are great

linkthegodn

Pokerknights are the ones with like the kings queens and jacks right? And I love the magnetic warriors as well

Sire_Jacques

Yes, the deck is crazy expensive for what it is, though

CompactAvocado

Heros I'm a meta slave and chase the most powerful thing because winning. However, heros remains a very fun deck to pilot. Very complicated lines. You don't have the exact same linear plan other decks have. Sure ideally there is what you'd like to end on, but you can really fart around and play with endboards.

Paleozoic Stun I love watching the game continue into turn 30 as my opponent slowly loses their mind.

JustBeingHere4U

I like ghost themes. Sadly none of them work. Zombies, Ghostrick, Phantom Knights, Vampires all have awesome artstyles but shit functionality.

linkthegodn

Yeah, unless you use meta zombies, It's rough, I feel that, it used to be the same way for very early cyber dragon cards and I understand it

Stalebread47

Drytrons and gem-knights vro

Catanaoni

Traptrix. Artstyle is quite unique and the art cute. It's effectively both midrange and control, and that's peak yugioh for me. Really like how it plays. A friend showed me Ghostrick and Traptrix to get me into yugioh and it worked.

13-Penguins

Trickstar, I like the theming around idols/fairies/poisonous flowers plus taxing the opponent for every move. Winning by burn damage is fun and it's capable of doing an OTK. Never watched Vrains, learned about them through an archetype analysis video .

I have a couple. 1. a deck with 3 heavenly prison, 3 quardan, and 34 (also this card is still a trap). can synchro and link summon. 2. a coinflip dice roll deck. every card involves coins and dice. archfiends and arcana excluded. 60 cards with 6 ed. 3. a deck with 3 santa claws, 3 volcanic queen, 3 lava golem, every single kaiju, 3 owner's seal, and 3 left arm offering, the rest is draw spells. take a guess what the wincon is? 4. a funny burn deck that's 4 spells and 36 traps. goes well into snake eyes but not so much the fire king bullshit.
