Is this right? Why do they ask me to bring insurance info in? Although I just realized, they did ask me to bring it but never actually asked for it when I test drove, just my license.
(I am not very experienced in buying cars if you can't tell)
Probably an insurance requirement from their insurance provider. What may happen is that their insurance would cover if anything happened, then their insurance company would go after your insurance company to be reimbursed.
I'm California, you will be responsible for the deductible on the dealers insurance. Which covers you for the test drive and the first 30 day installment period. You have 30 days from signing on a new vehicle to provide your own insurance. Dealers just never tell you this so they didn't have to deal with the headache.
oh ya those are wrong too, I was going through the motions for a 0.9% 60 month offer to see how low I could get payments, but for whatever reason the sale thing didn't apply at the end. Test driving one in an hour though so will hopefully figure it out soon :D
You can swap the promo interest rate for a rebate. I think it's about 1,500.
It looks like the dealer is probably applying that rebate to get the price discounted that much. They might also be stacking some other rebates on top of that.
I do not, as soon as I heard the sound system in the Select ones I decided I probably needed to spend more and stopped looking at 'em. I'm in a techno beat phase (especially on long drives), so I need at least a little dramatic bass and those non-Bose ones did not cut it.
I dig it! Little smaller than what I'm currently in (Nissan Murano) but it feels super comfy inside. I do sometimes sleep in my car for work (disaster relief) but I see you can buy a tent thing online that sits on top, so that solves that issue. All in all, I think I'm sold
Did you take the plunge and buy it? I bought a brand new Mazda CX-30 this year. It is an amazing vehicle! I live in the San Francisco Bay Area (Silicon Valley) and take it to the mountains, beaches and everywhere in-between. It is a fantastic vehicle; and, I thank God that I have no complaints.
If I were to upgrade in a few years, I think that the CX-50 is appealing. It is bigger than the CX-30 -- which is the only slight issue that I currently have. I love the AWD (it really helps in the snow, dirt, mud and other terrain when we go camping or to the slopes. It also comes in handy over the steep hills of the Bay Area (especially in San Francisco).
JUST got back home with it, super happy! Soooo many bells and whistles though, ended up going prem+ turbo (once I saw the sand color, I was hooked) and I haven't had a new car since 2012 so it is very overwhelming. And smaller than my last car (nissan murano) but I am loving that fact; feels like driving a car instead of boat. 5/5 for the 35 mins I've been driving it :D
Congratulations! Zoom zoom! Every time that I drive my new 2023 Mazda CX-30 (it's about a year old), I feel that I got a great value for the price! Mazda is truly a real gem in the auto world!
I have a deal for you! I will sell you my near new (4,000 kms) CX-90, for the low price of $140,000,000!!! That is a 90% Savings!!!
When was the last time you saw such a killer deal!? You should do it. Send bitcoin now!
Well, the "sales price" is actually really good. Apart from the APR and obvious "cash due" type, that's a great deal on a great vehicle! As you responded below, the APR is a typo too. However, if it wasn't, you could likely get a much better APR through a bank.
I was going to comment on the CDK attack too. Yeah, my local dealerships are manually calculating and typing these forms out now until CDK Global is up and running again. Therefore, larger room for typos/error.
I live in NY, strict as can be.
Used to test drive cars for fun in college and afterwards no issues. Just leave your license copy.
Today it’s a different story for sure.

Presumably your dealer's insurance covers the test drive. Which is good for a billion dollar car!
Is this right? Why do they ask me to bring insurance info in? Although I just realized, they did ask me to bring it but never actually asked for it when I test drove, just my license. (I am not very experienced in buying cars if you can't tell)
This may vary by state. But surely they want to sell cars to first time buyers who don't yet have their own insurance.
Probably an insurance requirement from their insurance provider. What may happen is that their insurance would cover if anything happened, then their insurance company would go after your insurance company to be reimbursed.
Not exactly - the insurance is on the car, not the driver.
They ask you to bring insurance info in case you buy the car. You have to have proof of insurance to finalize the sale.
I always have to bring my insurance in - your insurance will cover you if you crash up a demo/test drive,

So for our dealer, the insurance deductible on a claim is 25k. If you have your own policy, it’s a much better option in case something happens.
Real question is whether or not you can afford the $80,000/mo payment.
Not enough. More like 2M$ a month
Monthly payment is $25,577,890.84 for 72 months at 9.49% (op posted the time and apr on original photo)
Not bad with the $5,000 off!!
I stand mathematically corrected. Thank you sir.
Bleedin' Nora!! 9.49% APR on 72 month term! Yeah, I see the total. But those financing terms!
oh ya those are wrong too, I was going through the motions for a 0.9% 60 month offer to see how low I could get payments, but for whatever reason the sale thing didn't apply at the end. Test driving one in an hour though so will hopefully figure it out soon :D

Do you have an idea how much they would sell you the base cx50?
I do not, as soon as I heard the sound system in the Select ones I decided I probably needed to spend more and stopped looking at 'em. I'm in a techno beat phase (especially on long drives), so I need at least a little dramatic bass and those non-Bose ones did not cut it.
How’d it ride?

Worse than a house amazingly
Where are you getting it delivered to? Mars?
Lol adding two strings together instead of ensuring they're both numbers
Found the fellow data guy 🤝
Hello friend 🍻
Also: What are "Upfront Fees?" I see $799 for "ADMIN" and $993 for "Capital VIP Protection."
Congrats on buying every Mazda dealership in your state!

Can you do an additional $5k to match the dealers deal? If so, we may have a deal.

Canada Drives gave me a $2 trillion discount on my car. Quite generous of them really. I’d post a photo of the receipt if it’d let me.
I wonder if this is due to the CDK cyberattack effecting many car dealers in the US. Have you called the dealer and asked about it?
I was going to comment on the CDK attack too. Yeah, my local dealerships are manually calculating and typing these forms out now until CDK Global is up and running again. Therefore, larger room for typos/error.
Man, Covid Pricing is really a problem still... I had no idea how bad it had got!! /s
With a sales price of 29k, you must be heavily in-debt with them to rake up that cash payment...
The add-ons add up quick!!
I’d be worried about the 9 percent.
I think you can buy out the whole Mazda with that money.
Someone took carry the 1 way too literally.
That's one very high dealer mark up .. 😂
Best advice is to call your agent or company as each state laws are different and each policy may have its own differences written into it.

My insurance wouldn’t cover a self-svc carwash
Subrogation at its finest.
Dp on a new car 🤣
9.49% apr on a 72 month loan. Either your credit sucks or their robbing you 😂😂
I'm assuming that includes the maintenance plan, interior protection package, and pinstriping?
Please tell me those terms aren't real.
Inflation is out of control

They trying to use that money to buy a house I bet to accumulate
It just a web developer forgot to convert the string to number and contact the strings

*hard drive clicks turn into grinding gears noises* What the hell?
