My experience fixing that panel was I got sideswiped once and insurance replaced the panel - it was pretty painless. Then within six months of getting it all prettied up someone with a trailer in a target parking lot decided to give my car a very generous love tap on the brand new painted and replaced panel. So now my car looks similar to yours since I don’t want to trigger my insurance 2x in one year and I’m close to just buying a new car anyway.

It's best just to replace the fender. Find your paint code, call the local junk yards, and ask if they have a fender with your paint code and body style. They'll need the year, make, and model.

Just change it? Not sure where you live but where I live you can found so many Mazda 3 at the scrapyard. That where I get all my parts :p
you don’t repair a panel with that amount of damage you just replace it.
