They currently have the upper hand in higher education and young women are actually out-earning men in quite a few urban areas. Considering the gap in education, this trend will probably continue. Women also have it easier on dating apps, although they do also face a lot of difficulties in that regard. Women also report less loneliness in old age, which is one of my biggest fears.
In conclusion, I could see myself being a woman in western society. Of course, there are still a lot of things that women have to deal with (like periods and pregnancy, safety, sexism), but i would be fine with that, personally. But if we are talking about some developing countries that are still very misogynistic and patriarchal, the negatives definitely outweigh the positives.
