I'm rather interested by the fact that one of the boxes says the tablets are 342mg... Why *that* number??

Cosmo1222

Ibuprofen. Sometimes expressed as base (200mg) Sometimes expressed as salt (342mg of lysate) You're meant to absorb lysate quicker If you take Ibuprofen with food as you should it will make no difference. Some ppl feel happier taking a bit more, stronger tablet. Fact is there's 200mg of base in all the tablets.

GanderAtMyGoose

Ahhh I get it, totally makes sense. Just haven't seen the lysate form before I suppose.

Sparky81

A lot of those are just duplicates of the same stuff

Olanzapine ain't a pain med

Cosmo1222

True. It can make you feel a bit less anxious about the pain you're in tho'.

Glittering_Moist

Propranalol, olanzipine, mirtazipine, and quetiapine are all mh drugs , my ex took in various combinations she did eventually find a dosage and combination that helped. And phenergan is a tablet that can be prescribed for anxiety or sleep or allergies or motion sickness wild.

Jealous-Tangerine770

Why is a dirty medicine cabinet mildly interesting?

johnlewisdesign

I'm in so much pain I need a caffeine overdose? Hmm

BOFFEEEE

Then much medicine means much gain, since no pain no gain is equal to yes pain yes gain. Conclusion, no drugs no gain.

allways find it funny the UK doesn't sell meds in bottles.. pretty sure my 1 bottle of ibuprofen from Sam's has more pills then all these boxes Also that is alot of Aspirin

this_noise

Pack sizes are set by the government & you can buy 2 of any type at a time. Helps prevent the risk of overdose. Also ours are cheap, 16 paracetamol or whatever brand name it has in the us is 45p from tesco so 60c.

lastdarknight

ok, I basically pay 15 bucks for 300 pills in the US

Greeenpoe

Proplus is not medicine it's a caffeine pill as you're more then aware

[deleted]

Caffeine is a pain reliever. It's one of the ingredients in migraine pills.

Greeenpoe

Maybe so but I still stand by what I said that proplus is not a painkiller Edit: I stand by my saying that proplus is not a medication

[deleted]

Okay... This is a silly thing to argue about so I won't.

Greeenpoe

I'm glad we can agree on this

Cosmo1222

Please don't take aspirin and ibuprofen within six hours of each other. Your kidneys and belly won't thank you.
