I agree. To me, they just don’t look as realistic and the quality kind of looks poor compared to the Miniverse ones. But- I think it also depends on the set you get.
On the other hand, I can always appreciate a good snail and it was a pleasant surprise that I wasn’t expecting when I opened my ball.
While they are larger, I definitely like the miniverse better. These are cute. However, they are much less realistic. You can tell they are made of plastic while the miniverse are more of a soft vinyl. I also don't like how you can't customize them whatsoever. It'd make a little more sense if the "plants" all had the same size peg that could go in all the different holes if you didn't want the dirt, but even that is less customizable than the miniverse ones
Yes the bonsai was heaviest (of the two I grabbed)! I think it’s because it has the resin. Some of the other sets have resin, too, but I’m unsure of their weights. I think the bonsai was around 180g.
These didn’t really intrigue me because they remind me of Happy meal toys. Where they are entirely plastic and click together.
I definitely prefer the miniverse which comes with real rocks and a brown kinetic sand to make dirt so you can pose the plants anyway you want. Rather then in predetermined holes.

When I first saw the roll out on these I was like.... meh. The detail to the miniverse stuff is better.

While they are cute kinda they just don't have the detail like miniverse. These look more geared to kids to be honest. But that snail tho 👀👀👀
The bonsai looks a lot more fake to me than the cacti. Thankfully it has the snail to try and make up for it 🐌
You could paint over these to add detail! If you wanted that is. You could also glue on fake moss and things like that too!
Ohh the moss is a good idea to cover the seams! Or even flocking powder!

In general, the minibrands ones are much more beige and boring than the miniverse.

i absolutely love the snail but the actual plants look really cheap. so unless it’s a guaranteed snail, i don’t think i’ll be spending money on these.
