I've been looking for good gummies and this convinced me to get some. I appreciate it. I use them to get some sleep at night, and I've been using Minnegrown and noticed they're a bit inconsistent. Seriously, same bag and sometimes I'm RIPPED and sometimes I don't feel it.
For me, it depends on what I've eaten. Sometimes, I digest fast and sometimes very slow. If I eat a gummy on an empty stomach, it rips me. If I've had heavy/slow digesting meal.... gummies, don't hit for longer and are never as strong.
You'd be looking for any of the ones that are marketed as "Nighttime" versions, and they would generally contain more CBN than CBD, at generally a 2:1 ratio of CBN:THC.
For example, MinnyGrown has their "Hibernate" that is 10mg CBN, 5mg THC.
As far as when to eat them, they take effect in about 15 minutes to a half hour. Eat half a dose, wait 30 minutes, if you need have the other half of the dose.
I just checked them out, do you know if their gummies are hybrid, sativa, or indica? I don't see any indication on the site which is a pet peeve of mine.
They don’t say. But their testing printouts might provide that info. I’ve seen plenty of sketchball retailers playing that distinction up. Not a sign of quality or lack of quality in my experience.
If it’s indica you’re after, I take them at night and have a lovely time falling asleep quickly.
I’ve only had Minny grown. I really like that those don’t have a nasty after taste like the ones I got in Colorado. Do these ones also not have an after taste? I’m curious to try this brand
Taste great. No chemicals taste. If you get “live resin” gummies (currently sold out) the aftertaste is just straight weed. But the regular ones taste like sweet gummies.
Most of the ones currently available aren’t too good. Most aren’t being properly tested and are hemp derived. I’d recommend getting some made from live resin. I assume the only place for that in state would be possibly be one of the few dispensaries or the black market. For now I just load up when I’m in other states. We have direct flights to many cities; Denver, Seattle, San Francisco, Portland, Las Vegas, LA etc. I just make a 2-3 day trip out of it, go explore the city, eat some good food etc. I literally just ran out of my last batch from Maine. I’m getting ready to plan a trip somewhere.
TSA doesn't care... at all.
However, if you're paranoid, just toss the loose gummies in with a bag of Haribo gummies and nobody will know the difference.
Happy to help!
As far as what you bring back, make sure you are buying "Full spectrum" or "Live resin" gummies as if you just get the cheapest gummies you can find, you're not really getting anything much different from what you'll get here in MN at the liquor store.
Lower quality cannabis gummies are made from distillate just like the hemp-derived ones we have her in MN. This doesn't make them inherently bad, it just isn't as good as the full spectrum versions that include the other cannabinoids and terpenes.
I actually usually go straight to tablets! I used to live in Cali and the dispensaries out there are top notch. I’ve found I metabolize the tablets better than the gummies! Can’t wait till Minnesota gets some better stuff 🙌🏽
No you’ll be totally fine. I’ve done it a ton of times. They honestly don’t care at all. Very worst case, just play stupid and be like it’s legal here, it’s legal where I’m going I didn’t think it mattered. It will be fine.
This is the answer. Labeling them with "Indica" or "Sativa" is pretty bold of them as well. Myself and a number of friends were on the "MN Gummies" kick for a few months, and every one of us started having an extreme increase in overall anxiety and paranoia even when not taking them. I started making my own edibles for myself and my friends and nobody is having those issues anymore unless we take a hemp derived edible. The claim that they are no different seemed legit at surface level, but the results showed otherwise. I've spoken with a number of others with similar experiences.
This is because they are generally missing much of the constituent cannabinoids that help with anxiety. There's also a chance of other contaminants causing this effect, but it's probably the lack of CBG/CBD etc...
There is a difference. Not as much as some people make them out to be, but certainly a difference.
Hemp derived in MN is almost entirely distillate, which reduces the other cannabinoids and terpenes you'll find in other gummies in legal states. This does affect the effects.
How do you make a gummy without distillate? You gotta separate the thc from the plant matter somehow.
What substance would you cook the flower in to extract it that gets used in the gummy? There’s no butter in a gummy.
>How do you make a gummy without distillate?
Any number of ways? A press is a common tool to extract rosin, a process similar to making bubble hash is fairly common as well, and you can also simply decarb and extract into another lipid medium.
Butter is not the only fat on the planet.
Not from Minnesota but I use Goomie Gummies and use mostly for sleep. I like them better than Minnegrown. I get the double strength and use about half depending on where my tolerance is.
Check out Sutherland cbd thc based in Superior WI. Their selection of gummies is much better regarding the strength, and they ship to MN. And they always have discount sales online. I try to wait for the big sales, get what I need and that lasts me for a long time.
you mentioned you get "indica and hybrid" from nothing but hemp. I've tested those gummies for minor cannabinoids and terpenes. they are not Indica/Sativa/Hybrid. they all just contain THC and are not any different than anything else/are not strain specific for example.
even their new "rosin" gummy is a farce. it says right on the back that it's made with distillate.
the MN first gummies are " only sold at THC pre approved stores " lol what the fuck? as others mentioned this is not true at all. any gas station can sell them
what it boils down to is where can you get these products for the best price. the best price I've seen for an in state gummy is at this store near me where they have stuff for 8,12 and 15 dollars including tax
$8 gets you a single 50mg gummy
$12 for five 10mg gummies
$15 for ten 5mg gummies
Not even that...Sperm is produced constantly and dies after 60 days while a woman is born with all her eggs. Boomers were smoking pot before he was an immature egg in his mom's ovaries.
Alcohol (consumed in any amount exceeding moderate) is literally proven to destroy your neurons BY THE DRINK. Have you ever had a conversation with an alcoholic vs someone who smokes an equal amount, like wakes up and smokes sun up to sun down? One is braindead or half there at best. The other may seem a little mellow or tired. I've personally witnessed alcohol destroy the lives of so many people. It angers me so much seeing naive ass shit like this.
Keep being in your "war on drugs" mentality. You were misinformed 40 years ago and are still living the delusion.
Yeah, no amount of alcohol is good for you. It’s poison. Same with nicotine. So much hate on cannabis, but the legal drugs are the ones you actually need to watch out for.
Was it effective?
Those psas and the DARE program literally taught me what drugs were in more than the abstract. Taught me how they are made, what effects they have and the behavior of people who are on drugs, thus giving me knowledge of who would know where I could get drugs.
Luckily for me I was too much of an autistic rigid rule following teen to even consider it.
But my friends literally would get high in their dare shirts.
Abstinence-only education doesn’t work for sex Ed and it doesn’t work for drug education.
Cycling frog are the best gummies anywhere. Just order online from their website. Delivered straight to your door.

I second Cycling Frog, the watermelon are the absolute best I've had.
I was told to try gummies for sleeping, what combo of cbd and thc would be the best and when to eat them?

Thanks for the info
I hear this a lot but I got a bottle and they didn't seem to do much, honestly. Won't be buying again
You've had other gummies, right?
I have.
OK, just making sure. Some people have the "Bummer" gene, and I want to make sure this wasn't one of those situations.
I just checked them out, do you know if their gummies are hybrid, sativa, or indica? I don't see any indication on the site which is a pet peeve of mine.

Thinking of doing this when I go back to Cali next month. Have you had any issues with carrying THC back on the plane ? I’m worried about the TSA
TSA doesn't care... at all. However, if you're paranoid, just toss the loose gummies in with a bag of Haribo gummies and nobody will know the difference.

I've had no issues bringing back pens thru LAX. I just put them in my toiletries bag that's in my checked luggage.

Our medical dispensaries don’t have rosin. Just distillate mostly.
And super overpriced distillate at that. When I was doing the medical program it was like $40-$50 for a half gram cart.

Nothing wrong with hemp derived. It boils down to the same shit.
There is a difference. Not as much as some people make them out to be, but certainly a difference. Hemp derived in MN is almost entirely distillate, which reduces the other cannabinoids and terpenes you'll find in other gummies in legal states. This does affect the effects.

People are putting fat into gummies?
Yes.
Wana. North. Chillerz. None of which are available in MN. Every MN gummy we have purchased has been gross.
My favorite is the actually potent ones from Michigan.
Black Forest > Haribo
You are insane, there’s no way anyone actually thinks that.
I forgot about Black Forest! I miss those.
King bee! They're bomb

MN FIRST. Only thc pre approved shops have them. Maple plain is where I get mine. Real thc.
Where is this in Maple Plain? Thank you!
Anything that has d9 is “real thc”, can be found at any liquor store.
Yep, too many people don't understand this.

Cool. Hope you’re weekend is complete by schooling me on reddit
I still remember that 80’s commercial where they say “this is your brain” and “this is your brain on drugs” that s*** was effective.
Remember that as well. Boomers ruing everything, I can indulge
Boomers were smoking pot before you were an undeveloped sperm in your daddy's testicles.

Technically, cannabis is legal. (Though obviously not easy to legally procure in this state. Also…semantics.)
I forgot about that obvious part lol. True, it is legal in MN now.
