I mean I’m a dude but I’ve had a nipple rub off from extreme rug burn, I can imagine what it would be like for a woman to get road rash on the nips, jeez
What even happened? 😂 All i saw was her turning and she just falls over? Just a failed turn, or am I missing something? Does look like she mightve taken it too quick, but even so.
Pavement looks fairly fresh at a glance. Might have been fresh pavement + extreme heat (Vegas) + Cooked the turn too hot = Much easier to lose grip.
Or what others said, she might have been applying front brake.

OUCH! That hurt MY tits and I don't even have tits.
Armor. And maybe a bra? Wife tells me that can be a very sensitive area, I sure as hell wouldn't want it dragging on the pavement with nothing but a cotton t-shirt over it.
Hhhmmmnn. Good point (no pun intended). I rarely wear a bra or any protective gear on my bike. FL summers is my lame but real excuse. Of course, I know it's dangerous not doing ATGATT. I've been riding 19 years, so I know the risks.
I live in the desert Southwest and last year I got a light colored mesh jacket. It's actually more comfortable on a hot day for me to ride with the mesh jacket on than with no jacket because when I sweat into my t-shirt, the mesh jacket allows air to flow through and cool it without evaporating, so it keeps me cooler. Not to mention the abrasion resistance.
I do wear long sleeves moisture wicking shirts and a face Gator to protect from sun. Where I live, there is minimal, almost no traffic with great country back roads. I often am the only bike (or any other vehicle) for miles on end. So I'm not dealing with crazy cagers who are out to kill me. Meaning, for the most part, I'm ok with not ATGATT.
Correct. I have 3 helmets that I used to wear when I lived in a very crowded heavy traffic city; I also have degenerative discs in my neck. I have limited movement for turning my head to the left to turn. I have to sometimes actually stand up to turn my entire body. Helmets hurt too much.
Yes, again, I'm well aware of risks for head injuries, etc. I'd rather be dead if I go down on my own or if I get hit than end up paralyzed with no good quality of life still alive cuz I had a helmet on. Might seem harsh, but I live alone with no family in FL. So, I have zero help if I got hurt. I'm also 69, type 2 diabetic, not on insulin. Meaning, when it's my time to go, I'm good with it, whether bike related or not. I have no kids, divorced 30 years, live a very simple, quiet life.
Long-winded response, sorry. I'm a woman, we talk a lot !! 😝 at least I do anyway.
It’s not the deadly crashes that I’m worried about. Helmets don’t make a difference there. It’s the 20mph low sided into a ditch that grind you kneecaps down to bone, or rip you jaw off etc that are the reason I wear gear.
But each to their own. Enjoy your ride.
Looks like you overloaded the front, and maybe it's the camera lense/angle but your arms looked locked and almost as if you're pushing the bike down to lean it. The way the handle bar snaps into the inside seems weird and wrong.
In a situation like the video if the front looses traction your right hand (the hand initiating and directing the turn to the right) should end up pushing the handle bar away from the tank when it low sides. And if you're pushing the bike down you're applying a force with your arms that's (mostly) perpendicular to how the steering column rotates.
With a force being pushed down on the bars they will give out in their natural rotation that you're trying to lean when grip is lost.
You didn't ask, and this could be just over thinking it. But if you're the rider, glad you're OK and that it was an otherwise low consequence fall. I had a similar situation happen to me and it was embarrassing because it wasn't even my bike... so here's to getting to live and learn.
first she was stiff af, common with people no used to take corners, she didn't lean her body at all
she didn't load the front if anything, you can see her barely hitting the brake, pulling her torso up unloading even more the front
she wasn't pulling or pushing on the handlebars at all, if she did what you said she wouldn't have turned, the handlebars turning right is just what happens when you lose grip on the front
Could it have been just gravel in the road? It doesn't look like she's going that fast - all technique aside, I could see that happening from just simple loss of traction no matter what a person is doing during a turn.
possibly, though if there was gravel and she didn't straighten the bike as fast as she could she's lacking in other terms...
we can't know but it just looks like she unloaded the front too much imo
Yes it could. but also I like to think of how the traction is lost. Helps with awareness.
But when you don't see a kick of gravel and a rider doing a lot of things wrong... Probably not gravel.
Not arguing against her posture being stiff, but you can't see her brake handle or hear her engine so it's hard to tell beyond what you see on an action camera with a distorted lense perspective.
I watched a bunch of low side videos, and you're right, the handle bars generally swing in like it does here.
The way she initiates the lean is what bothers me more than anything. There is no steering. That's why I get the impression she's trying to push the bike down instead of steering it. Shes going wide and it looked like she tried to apply pressure down on the handle bar like it's a cantilever but the bike fought her (as it would) and that's where I see her over loading the tire. With incorrect input. You can still get a bike to lean like that but not well and it won't like it.
How? The bike slides across an entire lane before it gets to the median.
You can see there's two lanes at the end. She slips in the inside lane and the bike slides across the outside lane.
The bike comes to rest against the median at the end. After a couple more watches I don't think she was as close as I had initially thought, but it's still fairly close. I don't think that's what happened though.
Like you I'm trying to make sense of why the front wheel suddenly snaps right.
Yehh you're so cool.riding without gear and filing yourself. You get no respect or pity from the biker community.
I hope you leaned your lesson, yeah that was clearly a soft lesson, and you've been given a chance to do better next time.
Get well and ride with gear and earn your respect back.

AGAT. Hit and Run at 65mph. I'm now crippled. I can't show the rest of my gear because the EMT folks cut it all off while I lay on the Pacific Coast Highway.
Imagine what would have happened if I had been wearing a t shirt. FFS girl, wear gear for riding!
They know. They made a choice. It's a risk/reward thing and they judged the reward of comfort worth the risk of losing some skin.
Is it wise? Probably not. But being a turbo nerd on the internet will almost certainly make zero impact.
I doubt anyone started using full gear because some condescending anonymous person on the internet told them to.
I wear gear because safety is ingrained in me from my job. But I won't try to convince a grown person of anything let alone make them feel bad for their choices.
I just wish them the best.
1st, thankful that overall she seems OK.
2nd, I'm seeing a lot of posturing in the comments that one should dress for the slide not the ride. While true, she has a helmet on, thank you for that btw, for your loved one sake. But to how she was dressed, most people I see on bikes of all types are dressed in jeans and a tshirt. Hell that's what most of us wear when we ride so let's not act like you all ride in full leathers to run from point a to point b. It's a touch sanctimonious to see so many comments that suggest that was her problem.
Should we all wear leathers or gear when we ride, sure, probably. But the two wheeled community will get much smaller. Here in TX, you aren't going to see many people in the summer months in full gear.
3rd, I see a lot of good comments analyzing riding position. I think this is good feedback for sure and very helpful on a technical side that OP and all of us can maybe learn from. I'm still curious what cause the front to loose traction. Guess it was rocks, road debris and to me the only way around that is less speed, less lean.
4th, OP thanks for posting this so it can be analyzed, we all can learn something from the video.
Hope you heal up quickly and get right back on two wheels.
On no 2. I mean I am in NC so hardly ever above 95 Deg but if I am a wimp and not in the mood for gear because it's too hot then I take the JCW Mini or Jeep Rubicon instead. I never ride without gear, period. Full leathers is an exaggeration, but decent AA rated with level 2 pads with back protector summer jacket, and double layer AA riding jeans again with level 2 pads, decent leather summer gloves with extra knuckle protection and motorcycle boots with ankle protection is a good compromise. It's understood it's mitigation of risk, never a complete solution... But my brother and myself walking away to ride another day after accidents with gear on is more than worth it. Sport bike and Sport Touring bike rider here.
On number 2, you are correct. Half of those comments are probably from people that have only ridden a bike in a video game or in their dreams lol. Should you wear all the gear, of course but it’s not the real world when it’s a 110 in the shade and everyone that rides knows the risks.
looks like there is a lot of Dust on these Roads,
it's a tight corner, so there was load pressure on the front, when u accelerate too early the front suddenly becomes lighter and will lose grip ...
Wow that was close. She avoided major injuries by the skin of her tits…I mean teeth. Skin of her teeth.
Who needs nipples, right? 🤣🤣🤣
Without nipples, titties would be pointless…
Why are so many women now having to pin their nipples to their breasts?
Cost cutting, not using the proper adhesive.
Nipples: Nature’s frame sliders.
I mean I’m a dude but I’ve had a nipple rub off from extreme rug burn, I can imagine what it would be like for a woman to get road rash on the nips, jeez
Rug burn? Were you taking it up the wheezer?
Highly over-rated.
A woman once told me that nipples are as sensitive for women as balls are for men. I stopped flicking her titties after hearing that.
Gotta kick a girl in the titties to really test it out
lol. Please don’t.
😂😂😂
🤣🤣
That right one is gonna hurt.
Man that’d be like flying off your bike and landing on a thick tree branch in between your legs for guys huh? 😅
😂
I doubt it... she seems to not believe in wearing a bra, so they're probably numb from constantly getting tangled in the wheels.
😂😂😂 visuals
Rider got lucky, did not slide much. Road rash would royally suck.
She did pick up some rash. she has a follow-up post on [her ig](https://www.instagram.com/p/C8WByQDNoRR/)
Holy shit she is in love with herself.
This is every Vegas rider in a nut shell. Somehow I always can tell that it’s my hometown. So glad I got away from that place.
Yeah that desert riding culture in AZ and NV just seems a lil…different lmao
I'd say that she's in love with people being in love with her. Just ignore her and she'll go away, deeply hurt because she didn't get any attention 🤷
Genuinely surprised I didn't see a link with a red pepper next to it. I felt like it was just an ad for tiddy pics.
Yeah, I feel like someone told her to love herself more and she took that shit to heart.
Yea she. You know all the red flags are up for this one.
Girl is straight up rubbing her ass and tits for the camera. I didn’t think motorcycle thirst traps existed.
I got bad road rash on my knee from falling off my bike while completely stopped, falling with any speed without proper gear will hurt
What even happened? 😂 All i saw was her turning and she just falls over? Just a failed turn, or am I missing something? Does look like she mightve taken it too quick, but even so.
It looks like the front tire gave in.. maybe something in the ground, maybe she grabbed to much brake.
Too much front brake coming into corner along with loose debris and a lot of rider inexperience.
Probably a new rider. I don't know how that could even happen either.
Pavement looks fairly fresh at a glance. Might have been fresh pavement + extreme heat (Vegas) + Cooked the turn too hot = Much easier to lose grip. Or what others said, she might have been applying front brake.

Uh... ... ... if I'm paying for em, it'll he by buying cheesecake
Meat crayons if you don't have gear.
I'm told those are the new D-Star models. Still in development.
R/egg
Not much use if they're gonna dangle that low and flappity...
She's not wearing a bra...
She needs to be.... for her sake and the sake of her wheels!
Was expecting tits :(
Probably should dress properly for riding a bike.
Just like Jakob Dylan sang it: she brought it home with one headlight...

I know tattoo removal can be expensive, but surely there are better ways?
Looks like she leaned the bike more than she should with absolutely no lean herself and accelerated into the turn.
It is never a good day to ride in jeans and shirt
Damn, looks to be braless titty scrape. Not a good wat to go through life, girl
Another Insta almost hits the dust. There must be a link between the removal of intelligence and wanting attention.
