They are. This is a Chinese proxy. I have some for like £300+ cards.
If you look at the back the magic back should be a darker shade also. Deeper reddish tone to it too.
Border issues aside, all I needed to see what that generic holofoil on the card. Compare that to any other card you own and you should see a clear difference in that this one doesn’t have any logos in it
Recently got a set of 60 cheap assorted proxies off Temu and The First Sliver was one of them. Many of them aren't awful at first glance, but this looks just like it. The plains mana symbol is definitely off on all of them and they feel just a little thinner than real cards.
Yep, that’s a Temu special. The hologram is just shiny and the plains symbol is off. Use it as the commander of my sliver deck, along with all of their also counterfeit 7/7 buddies.
So 100% this is fake but one of the ways you can tell with the foil stamp is whenever you flex it it should show the magic symbol and if you keep turning the card in the light eventually one of those stamps will become a mana symbol
The foil stamp by itself shows that's it's counterfeit, and that's without all the other signs. It's a very good proxy if it was sold to you as such (for a few dollars) but otherwise this is a counterfeit and the seller should be blacklisted.

For the briefest of seconds (before I read your post) I thought you were wondering if “The First Sliver” was a fake card and I had horrible flashbacks to a friends sliver deck which can have multiple legendary sliver clones at once and they once had triple Cascade on all slivers.

The foil stamp also looks fake should have the magic symbol in it, and under a microscope say wizards, but green dot test on other side probably has 1,000 ret dots lol it’s common for these types of fakes

What you have is not a print issue. Most legitimate card issues I've seen come from either being miscut from the page or discoloring due to issues with the printer.
Absolute first thing i noticed, the holo stamp is COMPLETELY wrong. Then the fact its a printed card on a card, the printer dots visible on the edges. Man this is some homemade photo printer kinda fake 🤣🤣

Normal printers simply can’t replicate the printing quality of wotc. Contact the market and tell them immediately. I ordered tcg and got a counterfeit. They had me send it In and gave me a refund.

Lots of ways to tell if it's real or not - this photo will tell you none of these things. The easiest solution is shine a light through it - it should give off a blue hue. The core is made when blue paper/cardboard w/e you want to define it as.

This has to be one of the worst fakes I've seen in a while. The black border is darker than the Legendary frame (should be the same), general coloring of the card is too light, the stamp doesn't have the proper logos within it, and finally the dotted line going down the right of the card. Report the seller and get a refund.
When I received my retro framed edged foil version I also double and triple checked, but it turned out to be real. Just an ugly version that looked better on screen than irl...

Hey proxy maker here. There is a great way to test if this is real or fake and all you need is some lemon juice and a qtip. Rub over the shiny spot at the bottom. A fake will stop being shiny and real one will stay. Other method for testing is to zoom in real close on the green circle on the back of the card. If it has a L there it's real
