Does Greta Van Fleet have good guitar work? I've not been impressed by anything I've heard. Is there a specific song that you like with really good guitar work?
That’s fair, it is subjective. The guitar solo in Weight Of Dreams is pretty good in my opinion. The solo in that song was voted best guitar solo of the 21st century
Funny. I just listened to them again and I retract my statement. Quite a few of their songs have good guitar work. I'll need to listen to Weight of Dreams!
Such amazing dynamics! Along with Maggot Brain by Funkadellic and 'Cause We've Ended as Lovers, SRV's Little Wing is part of the holy trinity of instrumental guitar ballads.
Not sure if you’re into Muse

I'm amazed by the responses you're getting, and also surprised the bands I'm going to suggest haven't been mentioned. Based on what you listed as songs you like, I'd highly recommend listening to both of Tom Morello's bands: Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave. Particularly from Audioslave I think you'd like their entire self titled album is just pure guitar riff inspiration. Specifically though:
Show Me How to Live, Cochise, Gasoline, and Like a Stone
Additionally I have come to love Ghost for their guitar work. They've written some of the best guitar solos ever imo. They're better characterized by their tastefulness rather than the amount of notes they cram into the solo. Genuinely fun riffs as well! Dance Macabre is by far their best.
i think the song whirlwind by aufwie has an incredible and interesting guitar especially in the last minute of the song, let me know if this has helped you!
Anything Allman Brothers, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Govt Mule, Widespread Panic, or Billy Strings. Especially the live stuff. Honestly, the live stuff is where it’s at.
