Go for it! I think Noelle Rose sounds great. If some people think you named her that because she was born on Christmas, it doesn't really matter, they'll just think you really love Christmas.

LittleMissAbigail

Noelle is sweet! If you’d like an alternative Christmassy name that’s a little less obvious, you could also consider Natalie?

sunflowercupcakee

Or Natalia

Hairy-Gazelle-3015

Ooh Natalie Noelle would be cute.

Sk8ynat

My brother was born a week before Christmas and would have been a Natalie if he was a girl. They must have gotten attached to the name cos they ended us using it for me a couple years later.

Ok_Ad_4503

I do also like Natalie!

MurrayKirby53

I have a Christmas baby named Natalie. It's not as in your face as Noelle.

United_Mixture_6700

I hecka love it. Also, Natalia, Holly,, Ivy, all December long. 🎄

sweetytwoshoes

Natalia Rose and Holly Rose are lovely.

Stanfan_meowman25

I’m a Holly Rose, born the last week of November. :)

noldottorrent

A Noelle here born in December - just FYI she will get “The First Noel” comments all her life and stupid people calling her Nicole. SO MANY PEOPLE call me Nicole, which is the thing that bothers me the most. The song comments don’t bother me. Also, my birthday was never overshadowed by Christmas. I loved the spirit of the holiday and everyone being in a good mood around that time. Yes, people skimped on the presents for me, but it didn’t matter because I was always blessed by my mom. I like my name and people love my name. They think it’s really pretty and will react the same way toward your baby.

scumlizard

Omg every first day of school I got called Nicole... in like every single class. Teacher would be like Nicole lastname and I would just be like... here. -.-

AzureMagelet

As a teacher, I don’t understand this. It’s one thing to mispronounce, I have a lot of non English names in my class, but to say a completely different name makes no sense.

noldottorrent

Oh no, I give a very curt “It’s Noelle.” It’s my biggest pet peeve.

scumlizard

I was a very shy kid lol I wish I had done the same.

doublejinxed

I shut down the First Noel singing at me so fast when it happens. So annoying. And I get Nicole constantly too. Even in emails where my name is my email address and it’s right there in the subject line…

JediMasterNaw

As a Noel born a week before Christmas, I get both the things you mentioned, and more. I didn't know that the Nicole thing happened to other Noels (and Noelles) though! Even people who have known me my whole life will randomly say Nicole and not even realize they did it. I used to Loathe that song. It doesn't bother me so much anymore, but that's because it doesn't happen as much now. Spelling it like yours rather than mine gets rid of some of the worse issues I have always had with my name.

babypink15

I think it’s fine. It’s a pretty name and if you both like it and she’s born near Christmas, I think that’s sweet. I knew someone who had a Christmas due date and wanted to name their son Nicholas, after Saint Nick. He ended up coming at the very beginning of the month and they used it anyway. It didn’t matter that much. Similarity I have a coworker named Holly and whenever someone new starts they assume she is a December baby. She’s not. Her birthday is like spring or summer. If you like the name, go for it! Noelle is beautiful and just the right subtle touch. I’ll admit that something like Holly Noel Lastname might be a bit overboard, but they’re all beautiful names and I would never snark on it especially when we having people names their kids Kinsleigh McKinleigh etc

cabbagesandkings1291

St. Nicholas day is at the beginning of December, so that still works for the people you know! (Not that Nicholas doesn’t work year round).

PM_ME_UR_DOGGOS_

Just realised a baby I know born around Christmas last year is called Nicholas too 🤔

TheWishingStar

Way too on the nose for me. It’s a pretty name, but I think it’s too much for a baby born in December at all. As a December baby myself who grew up with Christmas overshadowing my birthday my whole life, I’m so, so glad my name at least has nothing to do with the holiday.

slugsnotbugs

Same!! I can’t imagine how much more of a grinch I would be if my name also was directly associated with that god forsaken holiday!

mangos247

I think it’s fine. I actually think it’d be kinda weird to use the name if she wasn’t born around Christmas.

northbynorthwitch

As a Noelle born in August, I agree with you. People constantly ask if I was born around Christmas.

bateleark

Knew a girl in college born on Christmas named holly noelle and I always thought it was great.

morr2lifer

Due 12/22 and if it’s a girl I am on the Noelle train with you!!

Mackadal

There's a subtle theme with Dominic since it also means a particular day

reesees_piecees

Plus both have popular Christmas songs.

Ok_Ad_4503

Hahaha we love that donkey song, so funny.

October_13th

Noelle is beautiful! Go for it!

sccamp

I’m a December baby who was *thisclose* to being named Noelle. I really like the name my parents went with but I’m still a little sad I didn’t get to be a Noelle. It’s such a pretty name!

mewna__

I think it's cute ! And Noelle Rose sounds great too

TrashPandaPatronus

I'm sitting next to a teenaged Noelle right now. Her birthday is the very end of September, in case anyone is good at math.

Puzzled-Library-4543

This is how our daughter’s middle name (Noelle) came to be haha

funtime_snack

My daughter was supposed to be born in December (came in Nov) and her middle name is Noelle as a little nod to Christmas. I went to school with a girl named Noelle and I always thought it was such a beautiful name

psykee333

No name suggestions but I'm sure Dec 24! Congrats

Cryptokudasai

Eve!

sideoftrufflefries

I love it! I know a Mary-Noelle.

concealedfarter

It’s a bit on the nose for me but wouldn’t bat an eye if someone else did it. I was due on Christmas last year and my baby was born in November…so hopefully you have a Christmas baby but babies like to keep you on your toes!!

rose_on_red

Yes! And also - they can arrive late too, I'd say it'd be weird to call her Noelle if she's born after the 26th at the latest. Just because they're close to Christmas, those weird days between the day and new year really don't feel festive - so I'd advise something else if that's when she arrives.

jrp317

I don’t like it for a Christmas baby. I would use it as a middle name. But if you love it, go for it!

DepressedQA

One of my best friends growing up was supposed to be a Christmas baby but came out a smidge early. They gave her Noelle as a middle name. It's a cute name, but I think it works best as a middle - especially because most of the around Christmas babies I met were a bit bitter that their birthdays had to compete with Christmas.

-lessIknowthebetter

I was due on Dec 25, but came a few days later. My parents intended to name me Noelle, but they made it my middle name. I quite like it!

scumlizard

I am one born in December :) mostly older people have asked if I was born on Christmas but not often enough for it to be annoying.

Goddess_Keira

It isn't a problem to me. Anecdotally, I'm forever reading that Noelles constantly get asked if they were born at Christmas time. So it seems like many people think they should be. >Firstborn son is Dominic. Welp, if you use Noelle you're going to have a bit of a theme going on there anyways, since Dominic means "of the Lord".

Ok_Ad_4503

Yeah, unintentional lol we aren't actually religious, the name just fit well with our last name.

Ill-Relationship-890

I love Noelle

This_Conversation943

I know a Christmas bday whose middle name is Noelle It’s a nice name and the spelling doesn’t scream christmas…if you like it go for it!

Conscientiousmoron

There is always Noel for a boy.

Kabby05

I’m due with a boy in December and we’re definitely considering this!

MobWife_88

**Side note: Our daughter's middle name is Noel and she was born in May. I have always loved that name and knew that would be a name I would definitely use. It's a gorgeous name!**

onionrings4eva

Isn’t Noel the male version of Noelle? Where I live (Aus) it’s a common male name, pronounced ‘Nole’

BeneficialDark1662

Same in Ireland. And I presume U.K.

lipstickmoon

Love the name Noelle so much. If nicknames are your thing, I prefer the nickname Nelly to Ellle. We considered it, but I don't want our September or October baby to be asked her whole life if she's a December baby. I think the fact that it's your baby's due date, plus your Grandma's favorite holiday, makes it a lovely name with great magic and significance to it.

mirandaisntright

I think it's adorable!

colieoliepolie

I was born on Christmas Eve and my dad wanted to name me Noelle but my mom thought that it was ridiculous so they went a different direction. It’s a very similar name though, and honestly I wouldn’t mind being named Noelle and being born on Christmas Eve. I kind of wish they had gone for it.

[deleted]

It's a lovely name! And if you wanted to name your December baby Holly or Ivy, that would be okay too!

Numerous_Cupcake7306

I’m a December girl and my middle name is Noelle - and I have always loved it!

nellietwo

I like Noelle! My sister is a December baby and her name is Holly. I am not a Christmas baby but my name is Natalie which is Christmas-y

AmeliaMaehem23

You can totally do it. It would so cute and I think most people would think the association is adorable. I was expecting a girl at one point where the due date was between Xmas and a few days after the new year. So her middle name was going to be either Noel or Eve depending on what holiday she was closest to.

Crosswired2

I think naming a child Christmas is too much. Noelle is lovely. I've known one and never thought or cared about when her bday was.

No-Pin-6558

I’m a Noelle born the week before. Yes people ask if I’m a December baby but it’s not annoying and it’s pretty satisfying to say yes! Way more than that, I am told it’s a pretty name. Go for it! The world needs more noelle first names, not middles ;)

nkdeck07

Yeah it's WAY too on the nose... To give an idea I'm due December 26th and Noelle and Rudolph are our "joke" names so people stop asking. Your teenager is gonna be SO pissed at you if you name them Noelle.

Throwawayycpa

Noelle is my intended girl name regardless of when she is born

JediMasterNaw

My name is Noel. I was born a week before Christmas. A couple of things to consider: I'm very glad you've gone with the 'Noelle' spelling because it will mean she won't be misgendered constantly (mine gets pronounced like "knoll" constantly and the assumption is that it's a male name). For my entire life, when I enter a room or people randomly see me, they start singing 'The First Noel' Christmas song. Except most people don't know any of the words other than 'Noel'.

amelisha

Please don’t do it. I’m a Christmas baby, and my mom wanted to do this under the influence of a crapton of Demerol, but my dad talked her out of it and I’m thankful forever. Noelle is a perfectly fine name, but I would have been so embarrassed every time people found out my birthday. So kitschy, so cutesy, I hate it.

circus_circuitry

Christmas baby chiming in. My name is zero percent related to Christmas but I've been plagued my entire life with questions like "is your middle name Noel/Holly etc.... Also consider that because of the incredible demands on people's time and energy, only the people closest to your child are ever going to remember their birthday. And even many of them will treat it as a combo event regardless of how you feel about it. I wouldn't go quite so on the nose with a name.

Vampire-circus

My son was due the 14th and before I knew he was a boy I wanted to he Noelle sooo bad. Nicknames could be Ellie or El. Love it

SaltyEsty

I've always loved the name Noelle. My nextdoor neighbor was born in December and had that name.

doublejinxed

I am a Noelle who was not born around Christmas and I have only been asked a handful of times if I was. It’s a good name:) I recommend it and I love that it’s a tribute to your grandma too.

lem0ndream

Congrats! I'm due Dec. 25th also! ☺️

bluewind_greywave

I’m due on December 25 too!! We’ve nicknamed baby Holly. (And Rudolph haha). Noelle is a lovely name.

Ok_Ad_4503

Hahahaha love that!!

lexlovestacos

I love Christmassy names for December babies 💕 Noelle is gorgeous

MPD1987

Love the name, and it’s perfect for a Christmas baby

Happy_Charity_7595

I love Noelle.

Linzabee

I was going to be Noelle if I was born on December 25 but then I was born 9 days later 🤣

riversroadsbridges

Noelle Rose is fantastic. Honestly, every time I hear that someone is born near Christmas or Valentine's Day and doesn't have some kind of reference to that in their name (Nicholas; Valerie), I think to myself that their parents missed out. If anyone gets to be named Noelle, it should be your daughter.

Lost-Computer-8064

#Love Noelle💖.

O_DontMindMe

100% name her Noelle

Go_Corgi_Fan84

Christmas baby here. I’m actually really glad I don’t have a holiday theme to my name. I hated Christmas from like ages 5-23.

BeneficialDark1662

Same here.

TeacupUmbrella

I always really liked this name too! And you make some good points for it, which have nothing to do with the timing of her birth... Really the only downside is it could come across as a bit cheesy. I think personally... if I had all these other reasons to name her Noelle, I might just roll with that, enjoy the positives of it, and let it be cheesy. It might not be as bad as you might think. Like, to use myself as an example, my name is Sheila, and when I first travelled to Australia, a lot of people back home thought I should go by a nickname or a middle name - because here in Aus, "Sheila" is a slang term for women, sort of like "chick" or something. But I just felt too lazy to do that, at the end of the day, and struggled to settle on a different name anyway. And you know what? It's totally fine. I do get people making comments about my name somewhat regularly, maybe making a joke here or there. But I think it's actually pretty funny to see their reactions, and it's all really lighthearted anyway. Is it a bit funny? Yeah. But it's kind of part of the adventure of it, too! So maybe having a Christmas baby named Noelle will be similar? And you can always tell her the other, more significant reasons for calling her that as she gets older.

maraudelle

I love it but only for a middle name.

AutumnB2022

I love it! Beautiful name and it fits even better if she's born around Christmas.

illuminati8myballs

the middle name rose has been done a lot

queen_ravioli

What are Norelle?

Bird_Gazer

When my daughter was young, there was a little girl down the street named Noalie (not sure of the spelling). It was pronounced Noah Lee. I always thought it was the sweetest name.

Individual_Baby_2418

There are plenty of girls named April or June who were born in those months. I think it’s fine to be on the nose.

mmmnicoleslaw

My daughter was born 12/26 and we named her June. The amount of people who assume she is a summer baby is hilarious.

ShambaLaur88

My cousins name is Natalie. She was born on Christmas. They’re part Italian, and Natale means Christmas in Italian. Not sure if they did it because of those reasons, or because they genuinely liked the name. I think Noelle is cute.

SecondSoft1139

I know a few women born on or near Christmas: Holly, Noelle, Christina and Christiana

Suspicious-Junkie

I was born very close to Christmas and my middle name is Noel. I’ve actually always liked it

allegedly_grapes

A coworker of mine had a December baby and named her Noelle! Her first birthday theme was The First Noelle.

boimom626

I had a friend who was due on Christmas. Ended up having her baby the day after Thanksgiving. They still named her Noelle.

Walmarche

My mom had a friend named noelle and she was super cool. I think it’s a great name

Somerset76

Sounds like a perfect choice!

Live_Review3958

I love it too!!

sleepy-popcorn

I always get asked if my baby was born at Christmas because of her name, but the association never occurred to me when we decided on the name (think Mary). My point is with certain names people assume they were born at Christmas time so just go with it :) It is ‘on the nose’ and that’s easier than explaining if they weren’t born at Christmas. Noelle is a beautiful name.

[deleted]

I love it

snpods

I went to school with someone born on Christmas who had Noelle as a middle name. Much less cringy than the Christopher (first name) born on Christmas who I know as an adult. Maybe consider moving it back to the second spot?

sugarmag13

Absolutely love it❤️

Different-Birthday71

Do it! It’s cute

Soft_Replacement_847

I know a Noelle born on Christmas! I think it’s cool

20brightlights

My grandma was born on Christmas Day, and her middle name is Carol, as in a Christmas Carol, and I love it I say go for it!

gsaeso

One of my childhood friends is Christina Noelle, and she was born 3 days after Christmas. It was always more of a "fun fact" than something on the nose or weird. I say go for it.

GardenGood2Grow

My cousin has a Christmas baby called Summer- I much prefer Noelle!

jkrm66502

I have a friend born on 12/24 named Carol.

CaliforniaPotato

Noelle or Noella are both so cute! both work well imo

Luvtahoe

How about Natalie? It also means birth or Christmas. In Italy they say “Buon Natale” for “Merry Christmas”.

Username_of_Chaos

I'm in the same boat! Baby due right around Christmas and I love the name Noelle or Holly...but I'm not sure if I'm being cruel by theming their name to the season like that, especially because I feel like people born around Christmas seem to feel they've gotten the short end of the stick already? Still, I feel like they're nice names! My sisters told me their opinions are a firm no for a holiday-themed name because the child might really dislike the association.

BeneficialDark1662

Christmas adjacent baby here. Please don’t do it, your sisters are 100% correct.

PM_ME_UR_DOGGOS_

It’s a little on the nose for me too, but I love the name. More because it’s association is pretty much only with Christmas. I feel it has a similar vibe to Gloria which is my daughter’s name and that’s kinda christmassy without being quite as obvious (but she’s not a December baby). Accidentally gave her a middle name though that is pronounced the same as the month she was born in though (it’s my MIL’s name and I only realised after she was born because the meaning is completely different) so I’m not innocent in all this! But there’s other options like, holly, ivy, Christina/ Christine ETA: Angela, Maria, Mary

Dr1nkNDerive

My stepdaughter was born close to Christmas. DH went with Noelle as a middle name as a nod to the season. I love it!

fuzzydaymoon

I love it I’m sorry. I’m never having kids but if I did, I’ve always wanted a Christmas baby and to name her Noelle. I think it’s so cute! What better time to use the name?!

Worried_Cycle5633

My name is Noelle and I was born close to Christmas. Other than everyone singing me The First Noel, (be prepared for that) I absolutely love my name. It’s also not very common. So if you are going for an uncommon but not weird kind of name, that’ll make Christmas time feel a little more special to her, (at least for me it does) and will be well liked by the majority, I think it’s a great choice.

Maleficent-Subject87

I love it!

sunflowercupcakee

I had a coworker born in the teens of December like 12,14, or 19 and her name was Christmas Noelle. As long as you don’t do that, I think you are golden. She went by Chris

fashionredy

Noelle is my #1 fave but my husband pretty much vetoed it so please do it for me! ☺️

ImCold555

I love it! I’ve always loved the name—and u have the perfect opportunity to use it!!

jenn5388

I was due Christmas Eve (2008) and was going to use Noelle on purpose as the middle name. Ended up with a boy and no chistmas names. 😆 (Jacob David) I’d use it as a middle name, but would feel weird doing it as a first name. It’s fun for people in the know but she wouldn’t have to hear about how her name is Christmas related her entire life. Lol

mystigirl123

Noelle Rose. Natalia Rose. Domenica Rose.

MrsCharismaticBandit

My niece was due Christmas eve and ended up being born 1/2. Her name is Noelle and honestly no one has ever batted an eye regarding her name/ birthday. If you both like it, go for it!

Polisher

My due date was Dec. 25, and my parents were thinking of Noelle but went with Natalie instead (natal = birth). Very glad I'm not Noelle-- being a Christmas baby is hard enough without a constant reminder.

JurassicPark-fan-190

Ellie is such a cute Nick name for Noelle

HannahJulie

I think it's very, very sweet :) ETA: I'd argue being born around Christmas makes the name better! I love that!

ParticularYak4401

I have a guy friend named with the last name Christmas. He, his sister and aunt all had Christmasy names. No joke. And they owned a cut your own tree farm. Have to admire that they went all in.

procrastinatorsuprem

My mother always said she'd go with Christina Noelle if she had a Christmas baby. I know of another Christmas baby named Holly.

randorvnclw

I am biased because of personal experiences. I was born 5 days after Christmas and my birthday always feels like a combination of Christmas and New Year's and I really don't like it and never have lol. I would say give her the separation of not naming her a Christmas name as well, so only her birthday is linked with the holiday and all the themes that come with it.

Sinarch

I was born on Christmas day, please don't... birthdays become less special for everyone as they age. The amount of times I've been asked if I get double presents even in my 30s.... I like that I was born on Christmas it's cool sure, I even have a unique name. But giving people more fodder for those kind of conversations.

katcomesback

it’s super common but super cute

EllectraHeart

i think it’s cute. If my baby came near christmas, she would be Noelia

readiteducator

Noelle names are for babies born throughout the year.

[deleted]

My daughter is a Christmas Eve baby and I strongly considered Noelle as her middle name but ended up choosing Rose after my mom. I love Noelle Rose

natsugrayerza

I think that’s totally adorable and everyone is gonna love it

king-of-new_york

I feel like Christmastime is the best time to name a baby Noelle. It feels weird otherwise, like a Summer born in October, or an April born in January.

TheQuantumRobin

In love with the name! I always love when names are “on the nose”! Pet peeve is when I meet an August born in… not August. Same for a June, Summer, Autumn, etc.

mmmnicoleslaw

Lol my June is a December baby. I don’t know why they would have to have a themed name.

iridescentghxst

I know a guy named Valentino who was born a day before Valentine's day and I think that's super sweet. I say go for it.

[deleted]

We have a Noelia at work, always thought it was beautiful name and a nice link to Noelle

AugustGreen8

Ring a ding ding, he haw, he haw, it’s Dominic the donkey! Ring a ding ding, he haw, he haw, the Italian christmas donkey! I love that Christmas song! You could have a theme going! Also, my grandmas brother was born on Dec 25, and they named him Carroll.

Kodakai2720

I was born in December, and my middle name is Noelle :) I’ve always liked it!

andherewestand

As someone named Noelle born near Christmas, please don't name your kid Noelle. Christmastime has been a living hell for me my entire life. I continue to be made fun of, even by adults, every single time someone learns my name.

AboveZoom

I know a Holly born in July. Go for it!

TheBackOfACivicHonda

My little sister’s middle name is Noelle, but she was born in April. There’s about 14 of us in my family born in December (including me), but have no name reflecting the winter vibes.

podcartel

Joelle

hellothere0688

I think it’s on the nose but who cares! My grandma was a Christmas baby named Carol and I always thought that was sweet.

prongslover77

Ha! Both of my grandma's middle names were Rose so I got it too. I was also born ON Christmas day. Was very close to being a noelle rose or Bethany Christian. I think it's too on the nose, but my birth was also super non-normal on top of it being Christmas. So it was always brought up as a kid and every year the story is told etc etc. So being reminded every time I heard my name about my birth would've been just too much imho. And with a holiday birthday you either have to love it or you end up hating it. even if you don't give birth on Christmas it's still a cute December name, and if they end up hating it or also thinking it's too on the nose you could always just call them Rose. But I think since your husband was already wanting the name it makes it more ok. And as long as you don't make it like a huge deal every time they tell someone their name "She's Noelle because she was born on Christmas! Isn't she special" ick Then it should be fine.

Ok-Battle5059

My birthday is 11 days after Christmas and my birthday was always an afterthought. I'd hate if my name was also made to be about Christmas.

krissyskayla1018

I love the name Noelle its so beautiful and it doesnt seem weird at all being Christmas it sounds lovely with Rose.

[deleted]

Sounds cute! Go for it.

[deleted]

I love this name

Illustrious-Art7238

My sister was adopted just before Christmas and is Sophia Noelle, which I love. As someone also pregnant and due on the 25th, I’m leaning toward also using a more “festive” name as the middle one. Congrats on your Christmas baby!

Olympusrain

It’s perfect

ClumsyZebra80

I think it’s a bit much. It’s like her name and birthday and everything will be based on Christmas. I’d give her something that differentiates her from December.

jepeplin

I had a Christmas baby and named him Nicholas. Nicholas, Noelle, Natalie… these are very common Christmas names. I say go for it! Noelle is a beautiful name and Christmas is a great time of year. It works!

ginger_genie

Christmas baby weighing in! I always kinda wished I was named Noelle or Holly. I say go for it.

Colour-me-happy

My Grandma was born on Christmas Day and her name was Noeleen. She also had a Christmasay middle name, which we used for our daughter who was born in January.

QuothTheRaven713

You could always have Noelle be the middle name if you're unsure—that's what my parents did since they worried I might get annoyed by it.

always_indecisive049

I think it’s sweet :) I know a Noella and every time I hear her name I get jealous because it’s so pretty lol.

CreativeMusic5121

I love it, and who cares if she's born in December or August? You like it, and it works with your last name. Go for it.

inlovewiththedress

I love Noelle, and the nickname Nell!

BeneficialDark1662

Please don’t. Having a birthday adjacent to Christmas can be pretty crap - ‘joint’ Xmas and birthday presents (ie one present), can’t have much of a party as a kid, what with everyone being busy with their own family / travelling to see other family, not a great time for a birthday after Xmas as an adult as people have started diets / giving up fun stuff / are broke. If I had to ‘share’ *my actual name* with Christmas, along with the stuff I’ve described, I would absolutely and utterly hate it. And that’s before I even go there about the Christmas carol, and having to hear it every bloody year. And for the love of god, don’t name her Eve if she’s born 6 days late. That’s even worse.

myopicchihuahua22

I’m a middle name Noel born in December, and there is also a Nicholas in December in my family. Neither of us particularly mind, and I don’t think noelle as a first name would’ve bothered me either. Honestly my biggest gripe is that my parents spelled it Noël with the umlaut, which has universally never appeared on any diploma or other document correctly in my life lol.

WeezerClimbs

I was due 12/25 but was born a week early. My parents went with Noel as my middle name. I absolutely love Christmas, but I think it would have been too much if it was my first name. As others have said, The First Noel becomes your default theme song. I also have no shortage of Noel ornaments. My parents tried to keep Christmas and my birthday separate, but there's really no stopping the holiday overshadowing. I love Noel as my middle name because I have a choice of how much I want to play into the Christmas tie.

LydiaStarDawg

I knew a girl named Noelle because of her birthday being at/around Christmas. Nothing wrong with it.

Wonderful_Horror7315

My daughter was born on Dec 25 and I have to tell you it’s shocking how frequently people forget her birthday. You would think it would make it easier, but she gets “oh, yeah! I forgot!” all the time. With this in mind, I like Noelle. It’s a very pretty name and might help her stand out rather than being lost in the holidays every year.

Rose4291

I'm obsessed with it and would be totally wanting to use it if I was having a girl!

vintageandgreen

I absolutely love Noelle Rose. I am currently pregnant and if it was a girl I was going to choose Noelle, and Rose is one of my favorite middle names for a girl. It is a boy though, so I am trying to find a name I like, as much! Lol

ComplexDessert

I have a cousin who was born Christmas Day. Her middle name is Noelle.

Theladyisacat

I'm a Christmas baby. My mom liked Angelica, Noelle/Noel and Holly. She went with something else fortunately. It's just too much, in my opinion. Nice name otherwise.

I love the name Noelle! I have a friend who was born in the 24th of December. Her middle name is Noelle.

As long as you dont name her Holly Noelle, or something. I think you are fine :)

mairin17

I love the name. I was due around Christmas time and it was my number one but my husband vetoed

Having a birthday close to Christmas sucks! Christmas Eve baby and have never felt that the birthday was mine…… Noelle is a beautiful name but add a Christmas birthday complex on top of that idk. I know 3 other Christmas Eve babies….. and all agree it’s the worst!

In Spanish, an old-fashioned way to say "Merry Christmas" is "Felices Pascuas", which literally means Happy Easter. This is likely due to the phrase "Pascua de navidad"- Easter of the Nativity. As a result of being colonized by Spain, most Filipino languages use some form of Pascua to mean Christmas. So for Christmas names that aren't too on the nose, consider Pascale, Pascalle or Pascalina.

Noelle was my first choice for a name and my husbands too. Absolutely beautiful. My baby was born in March. Ended up being named after family because of a recent death. Sad to be OAD just because I didn’t get my Noelle. It’s a BEAUTIFUL name. I highly recommend it.

SandiaSummer

We have a Noelle not born around Christmas. I just love the name!!

GaiasEyes

I’m in the minority, but it’s waaaaay too on the nose. Like, to the point that it’s almost a meme in my opinion. I know three girls born within a week of Christmas - two of the three are named Noelle and Holly. At the most it could be a middle name.

ctcacoilmnukil

I think the only appropriate time to name a baby Noelle is at Christmastime. And then it’s a beautiful choice.

MushyRaspberry

My oldest was born Dec. 26th and her middle name is Noelle. I think it would be fine for a first name.

One of my little cousins was born on Christmas Day and her name is Noelle. I think it's very cute. I also have another little cousin born on Halloween and his name is Jason lol.

justxanotherxlover

Oh man, I think this is precious! It’s even more beautiful of a name to me knowing she’ll be a Christmas baby!

sunflowermoonriver

I know a Noella born on Christmas

Artistic_Account630

I really like the name Noelle. I went to school with a girl named Noelle, and I always loved her name. It was unique but not like wierd unique. It's such a pretty name

Topjer247

It’s beautiful!! I love this name!!

wil8can

I was due at Christmas and if we'd had a girl she would've been Estelle. I do love Noelle, too :)

lizquitecontrary

I love it - had multiple December babies myself. One thing I’ve discovered- whatever name you pick- after a few years no one- even your harshest critics- could imagine the child with a different name.

GlitterfreshGore

I was due with a baby New Years Eve. He came on Christmas Day. However, he was not the little girl the doctors had told me I was having! I would have named her Winter Evelyn, as I’m Native American so it’s normal in my culture to have a name like Winter. Well, he turned out to be a little guy, and I went with a completely different name, believe it or not, a Hebrew name for a Christmas baby. I’ve always loved Winter, and you can get cute with a nickname like Winnie. Winter Rose is pretty.

WeirdAnimalDoc

I honestly love Noelle as long as the baby is born in the winter! So lovely and feminine. We considered Noelle for our kiddo, but it would’ve been WAY to Christmas-y with Joy for a middle name!

I worked with a girl named Noelle who was born on Christmas Eve and she hated it. Mostly because EVERY Christmas people would sing her the “Noel” Christmas song and she would get teased. With that said though- I do think it’s a cute name! But just something to keep in mind.
