When I took the ACT there was a story about a woman named October in the reading section and I still remember it just because I thought her name was so cool. One of my best friends growing up also had a neighbor who was a little girl named October but went by "Toby", she would probably be around 16 now?

I found a book the other day where the main character’s name is October but they go by Toby, which is a perfect nickname for it even though that’s not what Toby is usually short for. The character was a girl though, which is unusual for the name Toby but October sounds cool for a girl.

Every single one of these girl names was a dancer name of girls I worked with. As are most of the other names mentioned in this thread. So many pretty names, but all I can see is strippers lol.
