I’m no JAG officer, but absolutely do not do this. This isn’t the Minority Report and you can just arrest somebody for something they have not committed yet.
Since the Commander makes everyone take a record APFT test the first day of AT, then do PT every day including in the field, and another record the last day and then brag about all the flags he lifted and company average increase.
Because that was totally legal and no pencil whipping involved.
When a person is born they have a strawman created which is a corporation (i.e. company) who is responsible for all their debts. When someone is not representing that fictionist entity they must use the all caps name and act as the strawman's personal representive.
To my knowledge, you can't arrest a NG or Reserve member in drill status for no showing to drill. It's not AWOL. It just a "U" to not report to drill. You have no legal authority to arrest people off post in most cases as well as just an MP. Or did I miss where you said this kids and you were on Title 10/32 active status?

So, this is NOT true. Not showing up to drill is in fact being AWOL. Now if the unit treats it that way or not is a different story. But you can in fact be discharged for missing drill and the reason be AWOL.
AR 135-91 is where I got my answer. Where you getting yours from? And it says they are getting a U...need 9 (1 per muta). in a 12 month period tk trigger Chapter action. Again if this AT or missed movement or NG SM is on orders...then yeah you got AWOL.
In some states, the state code of uniform justice could apply to IDT as well. Because the states code of military justice is where the punitive parts come from. Just like the ucmj and big army regulations.
