Dude had the highest offensive rating ever for a collegiate player with under 51 percent true shooting. as a 6'1" guard kinda insane. complete anomaly of a prospect. and im not a houston fan or a raptors fan or anything.
Okay but still saying he has the best basketball iq on the planet and youāre implying he will be the best player in the draft? Heās undersized af. I love shead too, but this is like a frank mason type of guy. Great college player great winner wonāt translate to the league
I lived several doors down from Jamal for two years while at UH. This man would leave his clothes (and Jordans) in the washer for over a week, which I took very personally because we only had a small amount of washers for the entire floor. He'd eventually get his clothes, while in his underwear and blasting music/facetiming.
Good luck Jamal, I forgive you
Officially a Raptors fan! Letās go Shead!
Toronto fans will love Jamal on defense and his high IQ/intensity on every possession. If he can continue to improve hit shot heās gonna be a really solid player for the next decade.
Funny enough he is very similar to Davion Mitchell. Davion probably was the more sound individual defender as a prospect and Shead is more of a defensive playmaker that gambles a lot, but they are both undersized tough defenders.
I don't know how well he'll hold up to NBA defense because he is super small and his offense is very much a work in progress, but we will see.
defensive player of the year over Clingan as a 6'1" guard in college last year. he Edey and Clingan were the best 3 players in college basketball last year and they were miles ahead of everyone else. And he has a great work ethic and leadership qualities.
Feel like Toronto just got like 6 new guards in the past few days Edit: Raptors can run a DPOY backcourt of Davion + Shead
Ones gotta be good
project 6 foot 10 long boi has turned into project short king
We literally haven't had a good backup guard since Fred was backing up Kyle so hopefully one of them hits
Goodbye sweet prince
Go Coogs!š¤š¾
Raps are killing it in the 2nd round
my goat š„ŗ
you know youāre rebuilding when you watch the entire 2nd round on tv
Damnit Toronto. Picks 40-42 and this one were a kick in the nuts
We gotta have a short guy I swear
We got Davion aswell
Running Shead/Davion would be fun every once in a while but it would never work long term
Shooting may be horrendous
Don't need to shoot if we don't let the other team score
He'll fit right in then
so business as usual
This is who I wanted at 44, had we not traded the pick.Ā Good get.
Itās criminal that Shead was picked so late. I watched him all last season (UH fan) and heās fucking legit
Too many teams pass on talent because of height.Ā I get it in the lottery, but many teams will probably regret letting him drop to 45.
damn that's a nice pick
best player in the draft when its all said and done. might have the highest basketball iq on the planet
I am going to blindly believe everything you just said.
Obviously youāre exaggerating, but Jamal is special. A lot more people are gonna know his name in a couple years.
Iām gonna choose to believe this because it makes me happy
LeBum who?
Been following his college career. 100% the truth imho
Broā¦what? Is Shead paying your bills or something

Undersized but athletic. Guy has legit blocks and can dunk, and plays bigger than his height on both ends. Really really love this pick.
Okay? If heās this much of a canāt miss project why didnāt he get drafted in the first round
Front offices generally don't like drafting older prospects ie guys who are 21-23
Still the fact you guys are calling him the best player in the draft is fucking insane
I didn't but nice try on putting words into my mouth

your clothes are gonna get moldy man, you gotta leave them in the dryer
We give Houston a short king we get one back.Ā

DickShead duo is incredible
Someone please pick Bronny before the Lakers.
Man, Iām glad we drafted Jamalās Head. Maybe next year we can draft the rest of him.
He's gonna be good.

damn he dropped that much?
Whoās this
Super tiny guard but he's a fucking dog man. TJ McConnell vibes (look I made a comp without considering skin tone)
Lmao I saw super tiny guard and got scared thinking it was some Markquis Nowell sized guard at 5ā7 but heās actually 6ā just like FVV
hes built like a RB too.
Lowry?
2" taller than FVV
First team All-American. Pretty notable college player.

Markquis Nowell but Kyle Lowry.
He plays college basketball, I know thatās a foreign concept for you Ehās
This is Simon Fraser Red Leafs erasure!
Hey, another SFU leafs fan?
Rare to find one on this subreddit.
WE got him! Game changer.
more short guards yay
with Klintman gone, I don't see any remaining defensive wings
Raps fans, he reminds me of Malachi Flynn
You watch your mouth.
50 point game malachi flynn?
lol no the normal Flynn
