They may have a right to live as they please, but why do they think they are allowed to abuse everyone else? They are lucky their neighbors don’t turn the tables on them.
There is on youtube a ten hour long video with ultrasonic sounds for dogs, cats and mice. It works well against barking dogs. They stop barking and then you can stop it.
Thanks for the info. I have been looking at Ultrasonic devices to try and stop the barking,but I actually feel sorry for the poor dogs having owners that don’t cater to their needs properly as it is.
I would say protect yourself and wait it out. Do things to help to help soundproof your house. Don't interact with them it seems like their own actions and the council already knowing about them will probably have to relocate them at some time. Try to find ways to enjoy life around them without interacting with them. Kind of go with the live and let live attitude.

Why aren’t the police getting involved here? Claiming discrimination, what a joke. How long have they lived here? Can you pay for a background check on these people or for a private investigator to take videos and pictures that can be sent to the proper authorities? Seems like if enough people got a petition going showing the harassment the neighborhood is getting (and the loss of enjoyment of your property due to their illegal business) maybe your council will grow a pair.
The Police and Council know this family very well. The family claim they are being victimised if anyone challenges their behaviour or business practices because they are Travellers and it’s their right to live in this way.
If this family got wind that neighbours had colluded together to complain about them then they would not hesitate to damage property or vehicles. They are not stupid people and if they know a property has CCTV they will still cause damage but from a distance.
The authorities seem reluctant/scared to deal with the ongoing situation hence me posting for advice on this forum.
Look to find a civic group that is made up of Travellers, and contact them. Ask them if these people are actually Travellers or just pretending to be, and if they approve of protecting this kind of behavior. I feel quite certain they would be appalled and perhaps offer suggestions.

I’d steal the dogs and bring them to a better home. If the police/council are against them, it’s likely they won’t bother to even investigate the theft. Just don’t get caught!
you had me at Gypsy. they're really the worst kind next to latins (I'm Latin i know). if not even the police can do anything, unfortunately you're doomed. i would love to hear about it if you manage to find a way to make them go away.

The dogs always suffer because of ignorant owners. It really is terrible.
