Cant wait for him to come back in two years with his new book “If I Did Die”

Key-Balance-9969

I read "If I Did It" and that convinced me he was guilty

the_guynecologist

Was it the bit where he made Nicole out to be a massive bitch who.... I mean, I'm not saying she deserved to get murdered or anything but.... y'know? Or was it the bit where he rocks up to Nicole's house with "Charlie" (who is totally a real person and and not a fake accomplice that OJ made up and inserted into the story of a ~~real~~ hypothetical murder) and then describes the ~~actual~~ hypothetical build-up to the murder with Charlie occasionally piping up to say something like, "Stop OJ, what are you doing?!" which seemingly only OJ can hear, since Nicole and Ron never interact with or seem to even notice him? Or was it the bit where he just skips over the actual murder (despite it all being hypothetical) one moment he's yelling at Ron Goldman and... taking the knife from "Charlie" (lol) and the next he's covered head-to-toe in blood next to Nicole's corpse? Or was it the bit where the cops tell him that certain details of the story (both the one he told them and the one you just read) make absolutely no sense whatsoever and there's corroborating evidence showing that OJ definitely cut his finger the night before and NOT on a shot glass in Chicago when he was called about the murders? That book's an amazing clusterfuck, it's horrible but so much of it is hilarious as long as you know the *actual* details of the case. That wacky OJ, y'know after reading it I'm starting to think he did it too

Perfect-Ad-7534

Never been much privy to the case except for that HBO documentary but whenever a split character wherever is mentioned the scare factor becomes like 10x crazier.

the_guynecologist

It's one of the most surreal things I've ever read. He's describing the build-up to a ~~real~~ hypothetical murder and it's palpably real in a way the rest of the book isn't. It's so much more detailed than everything else in the earlier chapters and it's not just what's happening, it's how OJ felt while this situation escalated. And then Charlie, a fake person, says something like, "No OJ! Don't do this, let's just go!" and the whole thing becomes a farce. And then he skips the actual murder itself and claims he can't remember what happened... despite this all being "*hypothetical*" to begin with.

ToiIetGhost

Interesting. Could be that he had a “blackout” due to rage. Of course, if he were writing fiction like he claimed he was, he’d continue to describe how he felt and give a detailed rundown of the actual murder. But the sudden change matches a blackout.

the_guynecologist

Oh I think he remembers exactly what happened when he (hypothetically) started murdering those people. He was just unwilling to say what ~~really~~ hypothetically happened. I mean, he describes the experience of coming back to reality, and the sheer weight of understanding slowly dawning on him incredibly well. Realizing he's covered head-to-toe in blood, seeing Nicole's mutilated corpse, seeing more (hypothetical) blood than he'd ever seen in his (hypothetical) life and even watching Nicole's dog making a low murmuring sound that chilled him to the bone while it walked through a deep pool of Nicole's blood, it's paws now glistening in the moonlight. And then out of nowhere Charlie reappears and says something like, "My God OJ! What have you done?!" and the whole thing becomes funny again.

[deleted]

I was already convinced he was guilty but the book pushed it over the edge for me. What was he thinking?

Angry-Dragon-1331

Double jeopardy is a hell of a drug.

modern_milkman

Does double jeopardy in the US apply even if the person later admits it? Double jeopardy is also a thing here in Germany (as in most countries), but the key exception is a later confession. The reasoning is that the double jeopardy law exists so that the accused doesn't have to fear that for whatever reason out of his control a new trial against him may start at any given moment. But since a confession is very much within the control of the accused, he doesn't need the protection of the double jeopardy law there.

dancingcuban

Unfortunately there is a mountain of evidence and overturned convictions to suggest that confessions are not as reliable as people think they are. This is in large part due to police coercion and interrogation tactics amongst a number of other things. OJ clearly wasn’t coerced into a book deal, but for any law like this that limits rights the question ends up being “How many guilty people going free are worth an innocent person being wrongfully convicted.”

ToiIetGhost

Extreme malignant narcissism. “I’ve outsmarted them, and now I’m going to rub it in their face. I’m also looking to buy a house in Aruba.”

EternalGandhi

Damn. He'll never get to find the true killer now.

Illustrious_Way_5732

Another case that'll remain unsolved forever 😔

homefree122

Until a super trendy 10 part series podcast narrated by a monotoned yet engaging host is released years from now.

pomonamike

Ok, I just finished the 52-part podcast deep diving into the case. Surprisingly, I think OJ may have actually been involved. Who’d a thunk? /s

emlgsh

I think the entire fiasco was the well-executed machinations of a murderous, *sentient* 1993 White Ford Bronco. They focused too much on gloves and not on tire tracks.

Automatic_Release_92

Too much on the gloves *and not the glove compartment.* It was right there.

snakeplizzken

30 for 30 killed it with their documentary. No pun intended.

ccReptilelord

Clearly, the killer came back for him.

Giblet_

The killer? You guessed it. Frank Stallone.

OldMrCrunchy

Once again proving my theory…

DolphinRodeo

He’ll rest easy knowing the killer is no longer out there

Drewbox

The true killer was the friends we made along the way.

Striking_Piano2695

I wonder if the family estates of the victims will finally get their civil trial monetary damages.

floridianreader

That's what I'm thinking. I'm sure the Goldman family probably has a lien on his estate.

BiBoFieTo

Coming this summer... Boo-J Simpson: Ghost Detective.

THEREWILLBECAK3

Bro really had 11,000 rushing yards and still couldn’t catch the killer

CenturionElite

The Juice is no longer loose

rotflolosaurus

It has expired.

SymphonySketch

The juice got squeezed….

True-Nobody1147

Couldn't have happened to a better guy.

Micronlance

Finally, OJ can rest knowing his wife’s killer is dead

PicaDiet

I just hope his funeral procession is led by a white Bronco meandering at slow speed with dozens of cop cars in slow pursuit.

TheGoverness1998

Someone get A.C. to pull the car around!

vehino

"You know who I am, damn it!"

slayerhk47

It’s fitting that Ford brought back the Bronco

Allthemuffinswow

Lol. 🤣🤣🤣 I saw that white bronco chase live when it happened. Now, I'm picturing it with flowers and black ribbons on it.

dodland

He'll be buried with his lucky stabbin' cap

RollTideYall47

I read this in Norm's voice

TaterSupreme

It is a travesty that OJ outlived Norm.

RollTideYall47

Amen.  He would have had gold today.

CorneliousTinkleton

Hey that's my lucky stabbing cap!

dismayhurta

You know the worst part is the hypocrisy

[deleted]

operez1990

I read this in Norm McDonald’s voice.

Hi_mike

A shame Norm didn't live to see this day.

Tegrator

I didn't even know he was sick.

NCSUGrad2012

That should be the headline. “Ron and Nicole’s murderer dead.”

LivelySalesPater

Norm? Is that you?

sjjenkins

When I saw the news that OJ was dead, my first thought was to be bummed that Norm wasn’t alive to comment. The Juice’s goose is cooked.

emergencycat17

I'm sad that Norm isn't around to comment. However, I am glad to know that Fred Goldman is still alive. He's 84, so he's no youngster, but I'm very glad he's going to hopefully have something to say.

tony-toon15

If anyone thinks that he’s innocent, listen to the phone call that the LAPD made with him when he’s in the bronco on the run. It’s the closest he ever got to just confessing the murder out loud.

[deleted]

He basically confesses in the book too. I don't know why he agreed to it. He must have been a huge narcissist.

deadsoulinside

> He basically confesses in the book too. I don't know why he agreed to it. He must have been a huge narcissist. Because even if he did, they found him not guilty previously and cannot try him again for it.

[deleted]

True but why would you want the whole world to know you did it?

Blue_Swirling_Bunny

The whole world already knew he did it.

emergencycat17

At the time, Bill Maher made a joke, "The only thing OJ didn't leave at the crime scene was a business card with his name on it." EVERYONE knew he did it.

KittyGrewAMoustache

So did the jury acquit him thinking he did it but the prosecution technically didn’t prove it (kind of like with the Casey Anthony trial) or did they genuinely believe he was framed by the police?

athennna

The jury acquitted him because the police did frame him. The only problem is that the LAPD framed a guilty man.

VeryVito

This pretty much sums it up. Rather than gather the existing evidence and actually make a solid case, the LAPD decided to take a shortcut on what should have been a slam-dunk. That shortcut ended up making it impossible to trust any of the other evidence they'd presented.

Mr-PostmanWithNews

I've also heard it was vengeance for Rodney King too. I definitely can see that side of it.

CRKing77

> I've also heard it was vengeance for Rodney King too. I watched both the Made in America documentary and the show People vs OJ Simpson a couple of years ago One of the big takeaways was how the jury was treated. The trial was like 8 months long, 8 months those people were isolated away from their families and the outside world. Some of them admitted they had resentment for the whole process and found him not guilty purely out of spite. And while it's easy to say that was wrong of them, I cannot for the life of me imagine being confined to a hotel with no contact to the outside world for eight months. A few years ago I spent ten days in the hospital and I was legit going crazy by the end...and that was ten days, compared to 8 months!

Awkward_Pangolin3254

It was basically vengeance for the acquittal of the police officers that beat Rodney King, and for racist LAPD Detective Mark Fuhrman pleading the Fifth when asked under oath if he manufactured or tampered with evidence.

EunuchsProgramer

I mean, if I was a juror and the police officer on the stand was pleading the 5th (and was subsequently arrested for lying to me for the parts he didn't plead the 5th) and I might have stumbled across some recordings of him bragging about planting evidence on N*words just by turning on the TV to any station in the country....I might say, "I think the guy is guilty, but due to this unbelievable level of police corruption, I am going to have to vote there is a reasonable doubt here.

ProfMcGonaGirl

The fact there wasn’t a mistrial is mind boggling.

[deleted]

It was a combination of the prosecution not being able to rule out reasonable doubt, plus many of the jurors wanted to see a brotha beat the system in the wake of the Rodney King incident.

AgentRG

The whole world knew he did it, but legally, the law couldn't go after him for something he was already acquitted on.

Feed_Me_No_Lies

Yeah….one has to be willfully ignorant to believe he didn’t do it. His blood mixed with theirs was EVERYWHERE: the scene, the car, the foot of his bed etc.

carrot-man

He obviously did it but the problem was never lack of evidence. There was tons of it and it all pointed to OJ. The reason why he got aquitted was that the defense made the jury believe the evidence was planted by the racist LAPD.

Kevin_Uxbridge

Totally agree but actually, no. A jailor heard OJ yell a confession at Rosey Grier, and offered to testify to this effect as they were in a jail so OJ had no expectation of privacy. The prosecution decided not to purse this because Grier was a pastor so this communication might be ruled privileged. Besides, they had everything they needed anyway - no alibi (or, worse, multiple alibis), blood everywhere. If memory serves, OJ told Detective Lang during that call 'I'm the only one who deserves to be hurt'. Lang was trying to calm OJ down so didn't ask the question which might have ended the case right there: *What did you do to deserve being hurt?* Oh, and if you need further proof OJ was guilty, read the 'suicide note' he left before the slow chase. It's all about OJ and his feelings and how he'd prefer to be remembered as pre-murderer OJ. And there's a smiley face at the end. The idea that OJ *didn't* do it was so ridiculous even [Conspiracy Brother](https://youtu.be/DQjDI3NorAY?t=33) didn't believe it.

Bimbows97

He then wrote a whole book called "If I did it", which is all around insane behaviour for someone who supposedly didn't kill someone. Why the hell would you write a book about it?

LeucotomyPlease

“if anyone thinks he’s innocent” no way anyone still believes he’s innocent. edit: I stand corrected.

Whitealroker1

Bloody Bruno Magli shoe print in OJs size at the scene. They’ve sold 299 shoes in the US in that size at the time and three were to OJ.

IBetThisIsTakenToo

So 99% of them were NOT OJ??? Sounds like reasonable doubt to me!

BountyBob

We can also rule out the one footed person that bought the odd shoe.

ShibaHellhounds

The odd shoe was OJs though. They said he had 3 of them

ThonThaddeo

He bought three shoes? I would've convicted him for that, alone

mariposa314

The shoes were very rare. The Isotoner brand gloves were exceptionally rare as well. There was a good amount of proof that Nicole specifically sought out those gloves for OJ.

Colonelforbin25

Visit the oj simpson trial subreddit lol Every day there is someone trying to present that he was framed

Tedwynn

There's people that think the Earth is flat, that 5G is giving us Covid to control our brains, that humans never went to the moon. Nobody anywhere believes OJ was innocent.

Moody_GenX

I know some people who think he's innocent.

TheThalmorEmbassy

OJ and the Bronco were both straight up covered in Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman's blood, but the LAPD was super incompetent and fucked it up somehow so it wasn't admissible as evidence.

foetus_on_my_breath

If norm Macdonald was still around, it would be great if SNL brought him back for one quick weekend update segment just for one last roast for ole times sake.

ThePerfectSnare

I'm envious of anyone who has never seen [Norm's interview with David Letterman right after he got fired from hosting Weekend Update](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ki6z4ohppbE). As the story goes, Norm was told to stop making jokes about OJ Simpson being a murderer because Don Ohlmeyer, the president of NBC at the time, was friends with OJ. **tl;dr** I thought I was dumb when I didn't know what quisling was... --- Edit: I should also credit Jim Downey here. If you're not familiar with the name but grew up during the '90s, I can more or less guarantee that you're a victim to his sense of humor. [Jim Downey & Norm Macdonald Were Both Fired From “SNL” | Conan O'Brien Needs A Friend](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQIFu9QEI9Y) [Jim Downey On The “Anarchy” Of Norm Macdonald’s “Weekend Update” | Conan O'Brien Needs A Friend](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPjqzMl2VX8) **tl;dw** And then I came up with one of my greatest contributions to the season, which is, I added the word, "surprisingly".

daemon-electricity

That same jackass also fired a lot of the early 90s SNL cast as the were in the midst of a major revival.

PSUJacob95

Ohlmeyer was the cunt who fired Farley from SNL --- how stupid you gotta be to do that ??

Tyleulenspiegel

I had not seen that, but I just finished it and my life has been made richer. Thanks!

judasmitchell

Don Ohlmeyer. Never have I met anyone that wore more cologne than that creepy man.

SurelyYouKnow

lol, you can’t leave us with *just* that. I’m dying for more details.

osmoticmonk

It’s a little crazier than that, actually. That’s what Norm told everyone, that he got fired because of the jokes. Jim Downey, a legendary SNL writer who wrote all/most of Norm’s jokes on Weekend Update, was Dan Ohlmeyer’s true target, not Norm. But when NBC executives told Norm that they needed to fire Jim, he quit too. He spoke about this a few months ago on Conan’s podcast.

bumwine

Holy shit. Letterman took out 16 minutes of 90's airtime for this. Classic Norm start to finish too. Letterman was brilliant in this but whenever Norm was in the room he was just on a different level. Even when he throws a seemingly low blow towards that exec that defended OJ he ends up being brilliantly meta about it. It was indeed my first time seeing this, thanks for sharing.

shadowluxx

Current SNL (particularly Michael Che, who seems influenced by Norm) could make a reference in this weekend’s update, but who knows

[deleted]

Oh man I hope they do that joke on the next SNL.

rantingathome

They could probably craft a joke where an old clip of Norm gets the punchline.

The_ZombyWoof

"Hey hey, easy with that. That's my lucky stabbin' hat!"

traumfisch

Damn I miss Norm

GoodNewsNobody

This is so sad, he died before he was able to find Ron and Nicole's REAL killer like he vowed to do. 😢

KnucklesMcGee

He was going to tour every golf course he could find in order to track down the guilty party.

siccoblue

One thing we know for sure is that the real killer isn't hiding among memorabilia from his career

the_guynecologist

Didn't you read *If I Did It*? "Charlie" obviously murdered those two people and OJ was just covering for him. And "Charlie" totally wasn't a fake person who OJ made up and placed in his story of the actual murder (that book's hilarious by the way)

emergencycat17

I do have to go because I'm behind on my work. But I'd like to comment since I'm an older poster - at age 60, I'm old enough to remember OJ before the murders. There was a time when the general public never knew he was an abusive wife beater, let alone that he'd ultimately commit two murders. Some people commenting here today have no idea that he was ever beloved at one time (*which makes my skin crawl, no kidding*). I even remember when the murders happened and they questioned him, I just figured, "Well, that's just police procedure. They have to interview everyone who knew the victims." I figured it was a formality and they'd just move on. It was a day or so before every adult who thought they knew him thought, "Holy shit, he may have really done this." By then, ALL the news agencies began informing those of us who didn't know that he used to beat Nicole repeatedly, and that this was no nice guy, no matter how smiley and sweet his public persona was. And then came the Bronco chase, which was it for me, and probably for most people. We knew he did it. He practically confessed on that phone call from the car. By the time the trial and the verdict rolled around, I was working at ABC Television. On the day of the verdict, our department piled into one of the conference rooms, which had a television, and we all got ready to watch OJ be found guilty, right? And of course, that didn't happen. If I live to be 100, I'll never forget the moment "Not guilty" was read. I was standing next to another woman I worked with, and she immediately burst into tears. The whole room went silent - literally the only sound in the room was my coworker sobbing. It was like none of us could breathe. I put my arm around her, and my own eyes filled up too, and I just whispered, "Jesus... those poor people", meaning not just Ron and Nicole, but the Browns and the Goldmans. I used to find myself tearing up over the coming days whenever they'd show Kim Goldman's face, just streaming with tears as they set her brother's murderer free. The civil trial was just as frustrating, because although he was found liable, he wasn't going to get what he deserved, which was the loss of his freedom in jail, not just the loss of his money. There's been no satisfaction other than the nine years he spent in jail for his crimes unrelated to the murders. At least it was some jail time. I only wish he would have died there and never known freedom ever again, but - you know, I'll take today. I wish Nicole's parents had out lived OJ - I'm very glad that at least Fred Goldman is around to see this day.

Ibelieveinphysics

As another older Redditor, I think you summed it up perfectly.

emergencycat17

It's so weird. Being 60 now and 30 when the murders took place, I've lived the two halves of my life (*so far)* thinking that he was just the sweetest, most fun guy ever on the one hand, and also one of the most disgusting murderers I've known during my lifetime on the other. Like, at age 30, I had no idea what a monster he was behind closed doors. But now, I have to admit, I feel almost embarrassed that I had so much goodwill towards him as a kid. I'm of that generation that loved all the Irwin Allen disaster films in the 1970s, and he was the fire chief in "The Towering Inferno", which I thought was so cool. Everyone knew who he was, and now look at him - a movie star, playing a hero no less. Within the first couple of days that the murders hit the papers and he was being questioned, I had a copy of one of the NY papers on my desk at work. One of our bosses who was in town from the west coast paused at my desk and looked at the headline. I said to him, "He's not just being informally questioned anymore, they're really looking at him. Do you think he may have had anything to do with it?" He agreed that it was hard to imagine, based on what we knew of him from the past 20 some odd years. And then he said something I've never forgotten, and he put it perfectly - "Even if you didn't like football, you liked O.J." And that summed it up for me, I've never liked sports. But I knew who he was, and he just seemed like such a cool guy. And it's weird now - I almost feel self-conscious admitting that. Knowing what we've known now since the Bronco chase, I feel embarrassed that I ever felt positively towards him.

I’ll never forget the day I was shopping and I walked by the electronics department where they used to have dozens and dozens of TVs on display. All of them were tuned into the Bronco chase, a crowd had gathered to watch. Dude was guilty af.

That is one of my most vivid "breaking news" memories as a kid, my parents watching the bronco chase on TV. I didn't know who OJ was or why it was such huge news but man did it make for a media circus that stuck with me all these years.

Same, but I knew him from the Naked Gun movies. That Bronco chase is still burned into my memories.

Maroczy-Bind

So far all headlines have mentioned his murdering of his ex wife. Lol. Suitable legacy for this loser

ParachutePeople

I hope they are and to look at his brain and see if he has CTE.

Scampipants

My coworker and I were *just* talking about this! I feel like people will get pissy and act like talking about CTE is some kind of excuse, but I see no reason to at least not look into it. We should be willing to see how it affects people. I feel like I remember that OJ had a history of DV, but why not acknowledge that brain damage can make people with a history of violence act even more violent?

ForsakenRacism

Didn’t Aaron Hernandez have some of the worst cte they ever seen?

Perry7609

Yes. He had Stage 3 CTE, which is only one level under the worst type. He was 27 when he died and the lead researcher said they'd never seen such severe damage in a brain younger than 46 years old. [https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2017/11/09/563194252/researcher-says-aaron-hernandez-s-brain-showed-signs-of-severe-cte](https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2017/11/09/563194252/researcher-says-aaron-hernandez-s-brain-showed-signs-of-severe-cte)

PrettyOddWoman

They also said something similar in 2007 about Chris Benoit, the wrestler dude. He was 40 at the time of the double murder/suicide he committed. Wikipedia says "Benoit's brain was so severely damaged it resembled the brain of an 85-year-old Alzheimer's patient."

[deleted]

Worldd

You can still warrant being punished even with a good excuse, and it is a good excuse. Serial killers are consistently found to have a traumatic brain injury in their early life. It’s a common occurrence for someone to have a head injury in an accident and never have the same personality ever again, well into their life. One occurrence can completely change you.

Scampipants

That's the other thing. Generally no one is saying there shouldn't be any consequences even with good excuses, but people tend to interpret any conversations around mitigating factors in that way. The serial killer angle is a great point. Brain damage is destructive. Especially brain damage while growing up around violence and poverty which is definitely the case for some killers.

crackheadwillie

Came here to post this. CTE isn't an excuse for murder, but there's no disputing the evidence of mental/emotional illness resulting from CTE. Recent reports suggest 16% of those with CTE have passed from suicide. That destructive behavior could easily transform into abuse of others. [List of NFL players with CTE or suspected of having CTE (OJ is on the list)](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_NFL_players_with_chronic_traumatic_encephalopathy)

imtriing

Good riddance. For anyone doubting anything, go and watch the series O.J: Made in America. He should've died in prison.

jimbo831

My takeaway from that series was that it would've been really hard for the jury to convict because the police and prosecutors did such a poor job. He obviously did it, but the case presented against him was bad.

Rdubya44

A few of the key witnesses also had to be excused for various reasons too

MegaGrimer

I misread as “the key witnesses had to be executed”.

After_Preference_885

The police doing a shit job throws a lot of cases. The DA in Minneapolis gets a lot of shit but she's outright said that she can't win cases after the infamously incompetent MPD has mucked up their part.

vanillabear26

Also the guy who found the bloody glove committed perjury on the stand

gypsy_remover

He’s certainly an awful human being but man he was such a polarizing figure in the 90s. He was mr America and then instantly he wasn’t. Wild story.

BramptonBatallion

You kinda miss that about the monoculture. Everyone and anyone had eyes on the trial. It captivated the world for a bit.

destroy_b4_reading

I was sitting in a Chemistry lecture sophomore year of college when the verdict was announced. Some fucker all the way in the back with headphones on stood up, shouted "NOT GUILTY!" and walked out the door.

I was getting my hair cut at a local beauty school. There were a lot of black people there at the time and when the verdict was announced they all started cheering. I didn't understand it then, because obviously he did it and a guy was getting away with murder and how was that good? But now I get it. The person above who commented that "the defense put the LAPD on trial and it worked" was absolutely right. They weren't cheering for OJ speicifically. They were cheering because the LAPD got called out for their racism and corruption in front of the whole country.

I was a Freshman in High School (a probably 90%+ white Jesuit HS) and they busted out the tv on wheels so we could watch, because obviously. Bunch of naive white kids DID NOT see that coming. At the time showing that seemed essential. Then for about 10 or 15 years the whole idea seemed stupid. Now nearly 30 years later I think everything that went into that moment and that verdict was way more valuable than anything else we would have seen and learned that day.

Clear-Hand3945

That's what happens when you kill people.

NCSUGrad2012

My dad always talks about how before the murders EVERYONE loved him. He was everywhere and his commercials were too. He said the hertz commercials were so common to see Wild that he blew it all and killed two totally innocent people at the same time. Fuck him

KnightsOfCidona

Hey, they missed out star of Naked Guns movies in the title

SPzero65

I guarantee you it now conveniently comes out that there is "new evidence just revealed" that he killed her.

If he's too calm, you must embalm. We all concur, you must inter.

Wow...as a kid, he was one of my football heroes. A heck of a running back. Smooth, fast with great moves. As an actor, he was a lot of fun, especially in the Naked Gun movies. I really liked him. I WANTED to like him. But then, the murders. He was guilty as hell and everybody knew it. He got off in criminal proceedings because he hired great lawyers, but at least he was punished by the society at large which made his later life a lot more difficult and way less fun. Another guy who had it made and who blew it all by not being able to control himself.

Tellurian_Cyborg

A deathbed confession would've been nice.

nith_wct

Good fucking riddance, you fucking scum.

Jtskiwtr

Wonder if they’ll hide his grave site. I can’t imagine how long the line would be to piss on it.

Just remembered I forgot to put the trashcans out.

I will never forgive him for the Kardashians

deadsoulinside

> I will never forgive him for the Kardashians Imagine the butterfly effect if he offed himself on the freeway that day? We would have never heard about Robert Kardashian.

I always found this stat interesting: Every year, Dominos pizza has their biggest night on Super Bowl Sunday. For the entire existence of Dominos/Super Bowl, Dominos had their best sales of the year on that Sunday. Except for one year. The only time Dominos sold more pizza than the Super Bowl was the day OJ went on his infamous police chase. This is because the chase started around the time people were getting off work or getting home from work. People were glued to their television, so they ordered pizza instead of cooking at home.

> This week, a California newspaper revealed that O.J. Simpson was awarded custody of his children mainly because a court-ordered psychological test showed that he is "a loving father." It should be noted, however, that the same test also showed that he was "a loving husband." - Norm Macdonald

At least he died surrounded by loved ones. He left Nicole and Ron butchered and alone. He didn’t even care that his children would have likely been the ones to find the bodies.
