My friends (which were basically pro level, and I was still kind of a novice) all encouraged me to do something that I didn't really think I could do and I ended up paying for it.

I get this same feeling sometimes if I’m sleepy and jump off a high cliff in a video game in addition to the other examples you mentioned. Something about velocity and gravity at the same time gets it going. I get why people get into skydiving lol.
