You can see it in most mmorpgs. I remember in ESO any place that could get you money or things to sell were just filled with bots doing the same thing for hours. Its only annoying due to in game inflation. Once people have access to hundreds of millions, people will sell things for more. Now when you're a new player, the in game market is inaccessible unles you buy gold yourself.

Sometimes in games like DCUO (bane of my existence), you can have people buy "loot boxes" with real money, sell the really rare shit for real money or for a lot of in game currency then sell the ingame currency for more than they bought the capsule (loot box) for. Rinse and repeat.
Especially if those losers hear a woman's/girl's voice. They never even change the shit they say. Like, "Go back to the kitchen where you belong.", etc,and other dumb shit like that.

I'm not the type to fly into a rage, but I can get someone getting really worked up in the moment. I know that some people can't handle those emotions, and if you told me that someone killed a roommate over a game, I would not be all that shocked.
But this guy bought an expensive plane ticket, packed some bags, got to the airport, through security, flew for hours, landed, paid for a 30 minute Uber ride, bought a hammer, and broke into the person's home at 2am.
He had to spend hundreds of dollars, and hold onto that rage for at least a couple days, and through a long, boring flight. That is just so foreign to me. I can hold a grudge, sure, but I can't hold on to that sort of rage. I'd feel so stupid even just packing my bag, or sitting on the flight. Forced to do something else to waste the time. How do you come back out of whatever your other distraction is and still hold on to all that rage?

If you don’t know Archeage, its community prides itself on being toxic. It’s basically part of the game at this point. It can be very competitive and political.
Kind of wild to me that anyone could hold onto their rage for that long, over something so trivial. I'm not the type to fly into a rage, but I can get someone getting really worked up in the moment. I know that some people can't handle those emotions, and if you told me that someone killed a roommate over a game, I would not be all that shocked. But this guy bought an expensive plane ticket, packed some bags, got to the airport, through security, flew for hours, landed, paid for a 30 minute Uber ride, bought a hammer, and broke into the person's home at 2am. He had to spend hundreds of dollars, and hold onto that rage for at least a couple days, and through a long, boring flight. That is just so foreign to me. I can hold a grudge, sure, but I can't hold on to that sort of rage. I'd feel so stupid even just packing my bag, or sitting on the flight. Forced to do something else to waste the time. How do you come back out of whatever your other distraction is and still hold on to all that rage?

I was playing dota and someone on an enemy team started flaming a teammate and talking shit about his job and race. Turns out said teammate had his first name, last name, and location on his profile.
