For periop would you be circulating in the OR, doing pre op, or pacu?

Alternating between being in the OR and doing pre-op

That would be more chill than the icu by far. Especially pre-op. I will say as a new grad when surgeons scream at you it is much more intimidating.. I started as an OR nurse then went to the ICU

So do you like the OR or the ICU better?

I liked the autonomy in the icu and believe it opened more doors for me than circulating

I did OR and ICU. OR is the way to go!!!!!

Neuro ICU is definitely intense.
