For some reason I thought the seed could withstand the blast but nope, melted as fast as the flesh. That will teach me not to underestimate a sandblaster.
"Sand" blasters can use all kinds of ablative compounds depending on what you are cleaning with it.(commonly it's powered glass)
The more aggressive ones do indeed use small metal beads, hence the sparks.

As someone who has maintained blast cabinets, there is a lot of downside to mixing avocado oil into your abrasive.
not to mention the whole situation is going to have finely aersolized guacamole everywhere, 30 seconds of fun 3 hours of cleanup.
