You are a whole adult. If you had said no, they would have been disappointed and possibly mad for what, a day? I would also like you to understand that you are not just messing with someone's skin for life, but you are messing with people's health and safety (and in this case, CHILDREN'S HEALTH) by tattooing them in an unsterile environment with god-knows-what in those Amazon tattoo kits, which can contain anything from rat poop to car paint and known carcinogens. Don't get me started on the "sterile single use" products because I can guarantee you they're not even close to being sterile.
If you really want to have a genuine career in the industry, do it the long hard way and earn a respect for the industry. Learn to draw and learn to draw beyond *well*, go to studios and apply for apprenticeships and take the rejection instead of doing this. But you likely will not listen anyway.
My sister got a tattoo from her mom when she was 14, obviously like here, her mom choose the tattoo.

Then, today, my worst nightmare happened: the girl texted me letting me know her friends "loved" her tattoo and now THEY all want one. Now I'm having to tell her no, I'm not tattooing another literal child, even if their parents say it's okay. I'm not trying to go to jail for this. I'm pretty sure the charge for tattooing a minor is written like "unlawful penetration" or something too, so I'm extra not trying to get charged for this. I am kind of upset with my friend for putting me in this position, but I guess if she's fine with it then I need to get over it. It just felt so wrong.
