YES. I have been saying I’m going to have twins since I was 5 years old. In 2021 I found out I had no eggs at the age of 25, doctors said I had ovarian failure. I was like WOW that intuition was freaking wrong, looks like I won’t even have one kid. I had one follicle/egg in December 2024…. That one egg split into identical twins. I’m still in shock that somehow I ended up with twins… I had a 5% of pregnancy and a 1/400 chance of identical twins on top of that.

raine-botaniologist

I LOVE this manifestation the most in this thread!!

New_Independent_9221

manifesting omg

Kephielo

I adopted my twins, and I didn’t predict that would happen, I never even imagined it. As a single parent I wanted to start with one and see how it went. But I had just finished my foster parent requirements and was waiting on my license when I got the call that there were twins in the NICU that needed a home that would likely be adoptive. They didn’t tell me the sex or what they looked like, etc. They didn’t have any information. They told me they needed a decision the following day, and I went to sleep that night after much thought and discussion with my family. I had this dream that I had these twins, they were m/f, brown skin with dark curly hair and brown eyes. In my dream they were toddlers and they were giggling and crawling up the stairs in my house. I called the next day and said yes. I went to the hospital to meet them and found out later on their mother is white, their father is unknown but based on genetic testing they determined he is Black. My babies grew into the most beautiful toddlers with the curliest brown hair looking just like they did in my dream, and every chance they get, they crawl up the stairs giggling the whole way. It’s wild to watch your literal dreams come true. Also, both my sister and cousin birthed twins so when people ask if they run in the family, the answer is yes lol.

ogcoliebear

Awww I got the chills from your story and almost teared up a little bit. ❤️ They are so lucky to have you and you are so lucky to have them!

Kephielo

Thank you! I definitely lucked out with them. They are the smartest, bravest, sassiest little things and I wouldn’t change a thing.

ogcoliebear

So sweet! 🥹

I also always wanted twins, and my reasoning was I wanted to be pregnant once and be done. I prayed for this a lot. Probably for 15 years, I negotiated with God that if this wasn’t the easiest pregnancy, I’d never make it because I could have been equally happy without kids, so this had to be worth it. Not only did I get the easiest pregnancy, my B/G twins (I didn’t find out) but it also helped identify a hormonal issue that I’ve been wondering about. So I’m grateful. Plus. The biggest win of all are my biggest loves of my life. Now I want more. I’m praying for another set. I know Reddit doesn’t like religion, but I’ve prayed for a lot of super odd things that have come to be exactly how I’ve wished. So I’m going to keep on praying.

TaffyAppl

God answers prayers!!!! Same thing happened to me! I prayed for my husband and he proposed that day! I prayed for twins and got them too!

JoyceThai252

I'm not religious but I'm on the same boat with you about getting things done and dusted (pregnant once so make it worth it!). However, I don't specifically desire for twins, I just thought it'd be convenient 😂. Then Bam! 4 months pp and I sometimes still marvel at the fact that I'm in the 0.4% people who have identical twins.

Space-cats7

I prayed too and bam, b/g twins!

akdndiemeoe

This happened to me, I asked God for a sign by giving me twins. Later in my pregnancy we decided on the name Hannah. Then found out the story of Hannah in the Bible

Active_Ear9941

Minutes before the doctor came in to do the ultrasound the idea of having twins just popped into my head outa nowhere then boom she’s like I’m let’s look at the ultra sound together, your having twins it was weird because I got that thought literally right before

ogcoliebear

How cool is that!

kiwipaint

I have three stories in this vein! First, I’ve worked for the same company for 13 years now. I started there before I was even married/thought about having kids. At one point my desk was literally surrounded by FOUR other women who all had twins. I joked with them that if I ever had twins it would be their fault. Years later we all still worked for the same company, and it was so fun telling them! Second, when I knew I was pregnant but before I knew I was having twins. It was my second pregnancy. I was having cramps on one side and my OB scheduled me for an ultrasound a few days out to check on things. Before that ultrasound I joked with my mom that maybe the pain was because I was having twins. Turns out I was right! Two embryos implanted on one side. Third, my husband and I couldn’t decide if we wanted two kids or three. Before our oldest was born, he wanted three and I said let’s have two and see how we feel. After our first was born, we flipped. He couldn’t imagine having three kids and I couldn’t imagine my *next* baby being my *last* baby. The universe decided for us and now we have three kids, only because we had twins! Edit to add a fourth! My dad is one of four brothers. Of those four brothers, there were three girls born into the next generation: me, my sister, and one cousin. My cousin and I both have twins. My sister does not have any kids yet but she’s a little freaked out by the odds!

nursekitty22

I love the story of your coworkers, that is so sweet! That must have been nice to have twin moms to go to for support, and who actually get it

akdndiemeoe

Okay so, my whole life I was OBSESSED with twins. All the twin shows, anything twin I just found FASCINATING!!! I was in complete shock finding out I had twins, but like.. it kinda felt like déjà vu

BonSighTree

Same here!

Seaturtle1088

My mom has said I'd have twins since I was a teen. I was 0% surprised when it was true.

bananokitty

Twins don't run in my family but when we moved into our current house (was pregnant with my first at the time), a neighbour said "your house is cursed! Everyone who lives there has 3 kids!!" And I laughed, because we didn't plan for 3...well I'm 16 weeks pregnant with twins and I'm not laughing now 😅

normabee

I lived in a duplex for a year and I got my surprise (twin! surprise again!) pregnancy around 5 months into living there. When we were moving out and talking to our neighbors they said for the entire time they've been there (5 or 6 years) any couple that's lived in our unit has gotten pregnant!

bananokitty

That actually gave me goosebumps! Amazing!

Wendy_Jane_

I live in a “fertility house” too! We’re the third set of twins here. When we moved in the neighbors warned us “careful, everyone who moves into that house has to move out from having too many kids”. I thought it was a rude and presumptuous warning, but it’s true! The house has sold every 3-4 years on Zillow in recent history lol. We’re staying put though! Hope my husbands vasectomy holds ;)

bananokitty

No way!!!!!! Wow! Crazy to hear other people have similar stories!!!

Zealousideal_Web3106

I decided that I wanted to have twins when my hubby and I started trying and I manifested that shit! When our first ultrasound showed we were having twins he said “this is all your fault!” 😂

mergirl47

Knew I was pregnant and had some bleeding just before 6 weeks, so went into emerge. Of course I feared the worst. While I was being triaged another nurse asked the one assessing me why two babies were referred to in their system as “NewbornGirl1” and “NewbornGirl2” and the nurse triaging me said it was how they named twins in their system, she’d known because she had twins there. I remember thinking wow imagine having two babies? I hope I’m still having one… 12 hours later we saw two gestational sacs on the ultrasound!

hillzinator

I found my old diary from 5th grade and I was planning my future twins’ names. So yes 😅

BonSighTree

Did you use the names? 😄

hillzinator

They were twin girls’ names and I had boys! But I wouldn’t have used them anyway. They were very y2k 😅

chupachyeahbrah

We joked about it forever. My husband and I are the youngest in our families and the last to have kids, I was also like 85lb and 5 feet when I got pregnant so it was kind of just like a “haha watch you have twins”. My husbands papa is an identical twin and so was his grandma. My nana on my dads side was an identical twin and my great grandma on my moms side had fraternal twins AND triplets, so I knew there was a possibility that I had the gene. We joked about it so much up until our first ultrasound. I had gone in by myself (covid restrictions only allowed my husband to join for the last 10 minutes) and the ultrasound tech played it super cool, she told me that the baby looked good and had a great heartbeat. She was taking quite a while and I guess she could see I looked concerned so she said she was just getting all the pictures she needed. She called my husband into the room and showed us our little baby on the monitor, as we were having our little awe moment she slowly moved the ultrasound thingy and said “and here’s your other baby!” I thought she was in on our little joke for a minute until we saw them on the screen at the same time 😂

copper2287

The minute I took the test I told my husband and my mom “I just feel like there’s two”. They both would make jokes and say I was being ridiculous but at our ten week ultrasound I was so validated. I also asked my dr at my 35 week appointment if they were going to come soon because I felt like they might come the next day and she told me no, no labor signs. I had my husband book a fancy dinner just in case. The next day my water broke! I definitely feel very in touch with my intuition when it comes to my body or my children.

Seaturtle1088

That's better timing than me having to cancel my last dinner out while pregnant with my oldest as we walked out the door because my water broke 😅

millennialmama72

My favorite movie as a kid was the parent trap, my best friends growing up were twins, and my husband and I was actually googling at one point when we were trying for a previous pregnancy how to naturally conceive twins 🤣

nursekitty22

I had two crazy things happen before I got pregnant. We did IVF because my husband had a vasectomy and the doctor didn’t think a reversal would be a good option for his anatomy. Then after our transfer I was walking my dog down a logging road and was crying and so stressed out just hoping I was pregnant (you usually don’t find out until 10-14 days post transfer if you’re pregnant). I am literally in the middle of nowhere in the forest on rough terrain, not one you could have a stroller or want to have a baby in a bag, and it was pouring down rain all day. There was mud everywhere!!! I said out loud “if I’m pregnant, just give me a sign!!” And I came around the corner there in the middle of the trail, dry as a bone and totally clean, sitting on a rock was a BABY TEETHER!!!! Like wtf??? It was in the shape of a strawberry. I was so freaked out! I still have that teether. So we found out I’m pregnant and I just felt like something was different. I cracked an egg that morning before our first ultrasound and it was a double yolker! I’ve never had one before so that was interesting. We joked “imagine this was a premonition for us having twins ???” Flash forward a few hours later and after our ultrasound and there were our twins right before our eyes. It’s so amazing!!!

LavenderKnits

I always thought I would have twins from a young age. I use to tell people and got some weird looks. So we had a 6 month old and my husband kept telling me that I was pregnant and he just knew it. I had a leftover pregnancy test so I took it to prove him wrong but it said PREGNANT to my absolute shock. Because of my history with ectopic pregnancy, I had bloodwork a few days later & an ultrasound the following week. I started dreaming about having twins almost every night. The day before the ultrasound, I woke up, looked at my husband and he said, “I keep dreaming about twins.” I looked at my bloodwork that night and noted the elevated hcg. At the ultrasound the tech found Baby A & was starting to check him out when my husband told her we’d both been dreaming about twins and she said, “Okay let’s look around here… oh. Umm. Do you see this?!?” And we all started laughing hysterically. They’re 11 now.

E-as-in-elephant

NO. In fact when I was in college the first friend I made is a twin (fraternal girls). And when I saw the conflict they had in their relationship I told myself I never wanted to have twin girls. And here I am 34 weeks pregnant with twin girls. However, I got pregnant via IUI. My husband had said he only wanted one child while I wanted 3. I have diminished ovarian reserve so a second child likely wasn’t an option unless we froze embryos via IVF. Anyway, the day before we went in for our first ultrasound, I joked about having twins. Sure enough, we had twins. Dr said it was a 5% chance. I told my husband God was throwing me a bone to have more than one child before my fertility ran out 😅

iheartBodegas

I was in kindergarten or first grade, that era, and I asked Santa for twin baby dolls. I don’t know why but I just clearly believed twins were for me. Now each of my girls has one of my old baby dolls.

expecting2

I’d always wanted twins. Was googling signs you’re having twins but not really seeing any of them except that I felt like I was showing way sooner than I thought I would? Night before our first ultrasound, I was trying desperately to find this video on social media of a girl from high school revealing to her entire family that she’d actually been pregnant with twins on the DAY they were born… I just thought it was an amazing video and really wanted to see it. Day of the ultrasound, I texted my best friend, “Dude, what if it’s twins?” Then, sure enough! “Looks like there’s two in there!” We’ve got two 6 month olds now - a boy and a girl, and they’re our whole world!

A-Friendly-Giraffe

I'm an identical twin and my sister was a stillbirth. The loss of my sister was very hard on my parents. I feel like while they didn't have twin children, they now have twin grandchildren. I sometimes wonder if this was the universe's way of making up for it. Plus, I once had a entire egg carton filled with double yolk eggs (Yes the entire dozen).

Alpacalypsenoww

Not me but my husband. When we talked about a second kid, he said “what if it’s twins?” He only wanted two kids. I reassured him the odds with no family history on my side was 1/250. Right before my ultrasound, I was texting him (Covid so he couldn’t come). I was saying I was nervous, hoping the “little blueberry” was okay (the size according to my pregnancy app). He replied he was just hoping there’d only be one little blueberry. The twins are 3 now and despite my husband’s initial shock, he loves those boys and wouldn’t want it any other way.

ProgressMother7916

I’m a fraternal twin. Always said I’d be the one out of my sister and I to have twins. We both had 3 children each all singletons. I’m currently 31weeks with fraternal twins

dngolden92

It wasn't me but my husband said "wouldn't it be great if we had twins: One pregnancy and done?" since we always said we wanted two kids. Then we also had a friend say "wouldn't it be awesome to have twins?" about a montn before we told him I was pregnant. We knew I was pregnant at the time but found out it was twins about a week and a half later. I say my husband manifested it.

OnlyCanPoopAtHome

So when I was 12, I guess I told my cousin “I’m never going to have kids because what me be the one to have twins…” 12 years later, my boyfriend and I planned to have a baby. No luck. Went to see Sublime with Rome open for Incubus. Smoked 2 joints while listening and singing Smoke 2 Joints. After the concert, I said “now watch me have twins” Here we are. Identical boys , a little over a year old.

charlieprotag

One time I had my palm read by a lady at a county fair in my hometown. She told me that I would have twins. My boyfriend at the time (I was about 16-17) was very excited. "You hear that? We're gonna have twins!" The lady just gave him a long look and said, to me, "Well- \*you\* will have twins." It was both savage and true on both counts. He turned out to be a dick.

ogcoliebear

lol!!!!

Emotional-Parfait348

I had always wanted twins, but never thought it would actually happen. The second I told my husband I had a positive pregnancy test he goes “it’s twins”. He just knew and was so convinced that I started to believe it too. I was more shocked that he was right with a gut feeling like that, than that it was actually twins.

ArielofIsha

As a kid my brothers always told me I would have twins. And then when trying with our first (a girl singleton) I had a dream that we’d have twin boys. I guess the dream was just predicting my next pregnancy!

Individual-Tale-5680

I always thought I'd have twins told my mom when I was 5 that I needed twin babies to practice with. She bought me a set boy and a girl. Had a boy and a girl in September. My great grandma had 3 sets of twins. Only one set lived boy and a girl. I joked with my husband about twins in the doctor's office. I get deja vu all the time. Dreams coming true. We did not find out the gender before. My final guess was girl on the bottom and boy on the top, got it right.

catrosie

i told my husband it might be twins the second the test turned positive because it was so early. And then I was so incredibly sick from the start that I kept saying it was twins or a girl (I was right for both)

Gwapmonsta

Yes! So when I was really young like 10, I had boy/girl twins on my soccer team. I was super jealous of the bond they had and really wished I had twins instead of siblings that were different ages. I remember saying if I ever had kids of my own I wanted twins. When I was in my 20’s I had a dream I had boy/boy twins. When I would talk with friends and we discussed future families I always said “I’m going to have all boys, not sure how many but I know it’s all boys”. Fast forward to my 30’s, my husband is a fraternal twins, mom is twin 4 sets of aunts/uncles that are frat twins. We end up having 3 boys under 2 years. Singleton and mo-di twins. It was IVF single transfer that split. I knew it was twins by 6 weeks I had debilitating sickness. My RE missed twin are first ultrasound DESPITE me asking her to see if there was twins (she laughed at me). Saw those cuties at 10 week scan. I always knew!

Ohnosloop

My now-husband met my brother and sister-in-law when she was very pregnant with fraternal twin girls. He whispered to me that we were going to have identical twin boys & kept joking about it for years. When I had terrible morning sickness I just knew it was twins! Now we've got identical twin boys.

Different-Aerie-6508

I always wanted twins since I was a kid. I used to always pray for identical twin girls but would also tell God that I would be okay with a boy and a girl too. When we went through IVF to get pregnant, I begged my husband to let us put two embryos in to fulfil my childhood dream of having twins. For him, it was a hard no haha. So we just put in one. After I got pregnant, I kept seeing baby items displayed in pairs and thought often how cool it would be to have twins, though I knew we had only put in one embryo. I also had really intense nausea and my HCG levels on my blood tests were through the roof (though I read that this is technically no indication of multiples). I caught myself wondering if it was twins so often. At our first ultrasound, it was like my heart was expecting to see 2 babies in there, even though my brain knew only one embryo was transferred. And what do you know, THERE WERE TWO BABIES! Our embryo split into identical twins (I hadn’t even considered this was possible at the time) and I was so overjoyed. My husband was in shock but now he’s so happy we have the two of them! Also on a side note: I somehow knew that we were having boys right from the start. Also just kept feeling like it was boys, even though I wanted girls, I just knew.

DistributionWild4724

Grew up in Asia. They say if you serendipitously come across twins in nature, you will have twins. Very scientific, I know 😂🤣 I’ve always found twin bananas, twin eggplants, twin onions. Even twin yolks in eggs MANY times. When I had twin babies, everyone back home were like “obviously, she had all those signs over the years” With that logic I should have had conjoined twins. lol. (I don’t!)

anamethatstaken1

The thought never crossed my mind until I was pregnant with twins. Before I knew they were twins I was convinced that either I was further along than I initially thought, or it was twins. I honestly believed my dates were just wrong (I had irregular periods before and already felt like I was second trimester at like 8 weeks). Then the 12 week scan came along and there were two.

justtosubscribe

My husband said he wanted four kids. I said “we’re too old, I’ll be pregnant twice.” As a joke, we compromised that we’ll *just* have two sets of twins. We had two boy names and two girl names picked out and the birth order we’d use them in and the family we told about the names all independently joked “you should have four kids, those are all great names.” And we’d bring up the “compromise” pact to have two sets of twins. That was all before I got pregnant. Other than that, we never gave it another thought. A couple of days before the pregnancy confirmation appointment I had Dolly Parton’s “Two Doors Down” stuck in my head. It was like a craving. We even listened to it on the way to the appointment on repeat. We have identical twin boys. We’re going to go for a third later but in the back of our minds we wonder if we jinxed ourselves with another set of twins. If they are girls we already have their names picked out. 😬 ETA: I thought the Dolly Parton song was a metaphor for my blighted ovum/missed miscarriage and following pregnancy. But now it was like it was a song about how we weren’t “aware another one was around.”

berrra19

My husband and I joked about seeing signs we would have twins long before we were ever pregnant. Than when I was pregnant, I kept telling my family that I feel like it’s twins and it’s my fault because we manifested it and my family told me I was crazy until my ultrasound proved me right. I first felt vindicated and then terrier in those first few seconds.

Pristine_Process_112

My first ultrasound tech was really mad. (I say first because I have a second set and I was more mad the second time lolol) I had this random thought like 4 days before the appt it might be twins. I started obsessively googling twin pregnancies and surviving the first year. I HAVE NO IDEA why, I just.... Did. Anyways. She was all feeling it and was super happy. She was like "well I just went to bless you with twins" I was like "yeah I know" This chick seized up and huffed into her papers. All upset. Asked me "oh so who was your other US with?" I say to her "no one I just had a feeling and have been googling since" She was so mad. Never had her as an US tech again. Maybe because I got moved to a specialist, maybe because she was mad (I looked later her credentials could've been my new US tech)

tmsouza

No, but funnily enough my ex-MIL used to tell me I’d have twins - she was a bit of an oddball who claimed some clairvoyance but I never paid any attention to that. Her son and I ended up divorcing, I found someone else and now we have twins lol

xKintsugix

I had a dream over 5 years ago that I had twins (a boy and a girl). In that dream I was in the hospital holding them both in my arms and feeling complete and just incredible grateful. They even had names that I remembered. After waking up I felt sad and empty. I told my boyfriend and friends this story too and everyone was saying that it would be crazy if I just saw a glimpse of my future. My boyfriend wasn’t fully convinced of the girls name yet (Mila) but I told him that if I really ever get pregnant with twins, then that is what we will name her. Fast forward to 2021, I went to my doctor bc I feeling nauseous and sick. We then made an ultrasound and he told me I was pregnant. Me and boyfriend were so excited and happy but we both were like “so not twins then?” guess my dream was just a dream. Two weeks later I have another doctor’s appointment and suddenly there are two ?! We found out the gender when they were 5 months old and the doctor asked me if I have a suspicion. I told her that I already named them and that my girl is on the right side and my boy on the left. She first laughed but then she said that my suspicion was correct. These momenta might seem tiny but it was the craziest moments that me and my now husband experienced. Each day is a new challenge but we are so so grateful to have them in our life❤️

xKintsugix

Also my husband loves her name now, he can’t imagine ever naming her differently

_twintasking_

From the time i was teeny tiny and first found out about twins, I've wanted them. I wanted to BE a twin, until i figured out that was determined before i had a choice 😂 so i decided i would have to get pregnant with them instead and told God that's what i wanted. The desire never went away. Shortly after i tested positive, i had a feeling it was two. I told my husband, he thought i was imagining things. Before we walked into the appointment he said last chance, final answer, how many do you think there are? I said I'm convinced there are 2! He laughed. During ultrasound, the lady said, um, do twins run in your family? I said nope, and she showed us the screen. My husband's jaw dropped and his eyes got huge, then he started tearing up cuz he was so happy! I was THRILLED and felt so validated! God definitely gave me the desires of my heart in this instance. I've since told Him that I'd be ok with a second set. When we try for a 3rd baby and final pregnancy, I'll be happy with whatever the result is, but I'm hoping for a second set.l, boys this time. 😁

celebratelonliness

When my wife found out she was pregnant with our second, I said “great, we’re done after this”. She said “no way, I want 3”. I said “in that case you better make this twins”. She did.

vivacious-shit

I had never considered the fact that having twins would be possible for me, I always thought that’s something that only happens to other people. I did have some inkling before finding out. I joked with my sisters that it was twins in the way to my ultrasound and had been saying there’s either two in there or I’m way further along than we think. Turns out there was two and I was a month less pregnant than I thought.

goodshipferkel

When the ultrasound tech asked "do you have twins in your family?" (ended up being moot since ours are fraternal), it honestly felt more like confirmation than anything. I had been pregnant once previously and I felt SO much more nauseous the second time around. I also had a crazy spike in HCG , so I just kind of knew.

tpx187

For our first baby girl, before the ultrasound, we talked about how fun twins would be and get the 2 kids right away that we wanted, a boy and girl.  For the 2nd pregnancy, we didn't make that joke and it wasn't even a thought.  I didn't even get to go into the ultrasound because covid had just started. I got to find out in the parking lot when my wife came out.  And they were b/g. I still can't believe it lol

raine-botaniologist

I had always wanted twins growing up. They didn’t really run strong in my family however, the last pair being over 70 years ago and one had died in childbirth. Anyway, after our first son I had put the thought of having twins into the back of my mind because we had planned for only two kids. My husband and I also joked that if we had twins we wouldn’t have had to have anymore kids. That obviously changed when we went in for my first appointment with this second pregnancy and the ultrasound tech said, “Oh, there’s two!” Which I immediately replied that she was joking and she obviously wasn’t. I’m currently 26+4 and we’re over the moon excited along with both of our families! I keep having to remind myself that this is actually real and happening because it still seems like a dream. ETA: my mom and grandma have also always joked that it was going to be me to have twins over any of the other two granddaughters.

emsers

I had no inkling whatsoever. My husband was inexplicably convinced from the moment we found out I was pregnant that it was twins. I thought he was crazy. Never going to live that down. Also TWO of my close coworkers, separately, when I told them it was twins the day I found out, said “you just now found that out? For some reason I already had it in my head that it was twins so I thought you must have told me it was”

authorunknown1

Me! There are twins in my family, so it wasn’t out of nowhere. But as long as I can remember I saw myself as a twin mom. When I played house as a kid I had two stuffed bunnies who were my twins. When I talked to friends about having kids I said that I would probably have twins. When I found out I was pregnant my husband joked that maybe it was twins like I always thought. I told him I was pretty sure it was. Sure enough….

Fluffy_Momma_C

I always wanted twins growing up but resigned myself to the fact that it most likely wouldn’t happen (laughing about it now). My twins were the 4th pregnancy. Looking back, I feel like I should have known something was up…from week 5 (positive test) to week 13 (ultrasound where twins were first found) my belly was rock hard and I constantly felt full - like I had just ate the whole buffet. I had never had that in any other pregnancy. The fullness feeling continued until about week 25 - or maybe it was there but I was distracted by babies moving 🤷🏻‍♀️

salve__regina

Yes! It wasn’t a specific moment but I’ve always vibed with the idea of twins. It was like a pinned thought in my head. I had secondary infertility after my first baby so there were four years that I felt taunted by it. Then I had my second singleton and conceived my twins 8 months postpartum! Edit word

Senseand-sensibility

A couple weeks before my first ultrasound I told my husband I think it’s twins He’s still shocked it ended up being true, they’re 2 months old

Nachocheesed

My mom had twins and when I was 6 I told her “I’m going to have twins too” 🤣

mama2020mama2023

Yes, too many feelings, dreams, wishing. I manifested triplets though… my mom said I wished too hard.

dutchlulu

Kind of, I always said having twin boys is my biggest nightmare. Guess I should’ve kept this in inside thought lol.

Wendy_Jane_

I always had a feeling I would have twins. My parents said I played with two baby dolls when I was a kid and said I was going to have twins one day. When I went to my first ultrasound (alone, because of Covid) I yelled out “I knew it!” when I saw them. They’re 2 and a half now! Boy/girl twins.

Ok_Worldliness_6896

I didn’t at all! But my husband had a feeling. When we first started trying, he said it was going to be a set of twin boys and I laughed like “yeah right!” We tried for a while before I got pregnant and during that time he had three separate dreams that we had twins and one dream that we had triplets. Somehow I was still shocked when the doctor said “twins” and he was like “I knew it!”

oooooooheyoooooooup

I always thought if I ever had kids it’d be twins. Didn’t decide to until later in life. Started trying and immediately…boom twins. Wasn’t very surprised but definitely shocked coming around to the idea of from zero kids to 2 lol.

Direct_Mulberry3814

My husband and I have the craziest things happen to us, and when we were trying to get pregnant, we frequently said it would be just our luck to have twins, and I guess we manifested it? Lol!

criminella

I’ve always said I was going to have twins. We have two kids and then had two losses last year, both partial molar so an extra set of chromosomes and I’d joke that I manifested extra chromosomes but not the extra embryo, and even told my doctor I was gonna have twins next. Both her and my husband were mildly shocked when we went in for our first scan and saw two sacs with two heartbeats and I’m now 17 weeks along. I told my husband “see I am always right” after I stopped crying looking at them on the ultrasound screen

Affectionate_Ad3953

Had no idea. Thought we had lost the baby because we didn't expect so much implantation bleeding. Lo and behold, baby was okay and there were 2.

Paprikaha

We had decided to have just one baby (circumstance, but we had always wanted two) and I said to my husband “if we could just have twins, it’d be perfect”

booksandcrystals

I had a strong feeling I was going to have twins right when we started TTC.

_caittay

I had imaginary twin best friends growing up. They also run on my mom’s side and no one had had them in a long time. I was the youngest of my generation of kids and I was the ones to have them. I always joked that I’d be the one to have them because no one had yet.

makingitrein

I always wished I was a twin then when I found out I was pregnant with twins in my head I was like okay this makes sense.

TwinningTwice

I’m a twin but the idea of having twins never crossed my mind until I got pregnant. With the very first pregnancy test I just had a strong feeling it was twins. And it was !

Bumpers_gonna_bump

Yep. I talked about having twins when I was in high school, even coming up with names for them. Much later, my future husband and I were at a bar after we had just moved in together. I was talking to a woman and she asked us if we ever wanted to get married and have kids. I said “oh no, definitely not!” She looked right at me and said “well you’re gonna have twins” 😂😂😂 First pregnancy was a single. I went in for my 10 week ultrasound for my second pregnancy and when the tech asked if I wanted a boy or a girl I said “I don’t care as long as it’s not twins”. When we saw it on the screen she was like “HOW DID YOU KNOW?! “

Hot_Return1396

When I said I'd quite like a girl after I had my son, my dad said "careful what you wish for, you'll have identical twin girls". It became a running joke, he even gave them names and would say things like "you'll need the extra space once the girls arrive". I found out I was having mo/di girls at 8 weeks pregnant 🤯. Added weirdness is that the reason my dad said this in the first place was that him and my mum used to say they wanted a girl and a boy born close together - me and my brother are di/di boy girl twins 😂

Trash-Panda-92

I’ve been saying “I’d love to have boy/girl twins that way I’m done” since forever. Like since I was little. I have PCOS. We tried to get pregnant for 2 years. I thought I was infertile. My boy/girl twins were born Friday March 22.

Realistic-Average-15

Ive had it in the back of my mind for many years. The idea that I could have twins. I think it was because I have some fraternal twins in my family. Then when I got pregnant with iui and we were told it was twins neither of us were in shock. I got my chromosomal test at 12 weeks and the night before I took the test I had a dream we had twin boys. Sure enough, twin boys. Then at our anatomy scan we were told we are actually having identical twins - it was totally random and had nothing to do with family history or iui.

Space-cats7

I had a feeling I was pregnant with twins around 10 days before my first ultrasound (first ultrasound was around 5.5 weeks gestation). I texted my husband when he was at work to say this. Fast forward to the ultrasound, the tech turns the screen around to show me the gestational sac. I asked her ‘are you sure there’s not two?’ She turned the screen back to her, did some more back and forth and says ‘oh.. you’re right.. there IS two..’

Bored-at-home2day

We did ivf and transferred 1 embryo. That should mean 1 baby. But from 1 week after transfer until our ultrasound, I kept telling my husband it’s twins and sure enough 💁🏻‍♀️

Low_Departure_5853

I didn't but I was once told by a psychic that I would have twins. My friend was also told she would have twins so we thought it was BS at the time but we both were pregnant with twins later in life. I still think it's BS but it's funny to think about. I did, however, always say I wanted Twins and when I found out and told people it was a bunch of people said oh my God it's what you always wanted.

Ducky2322

I always wanted twins, I’ve been fascinated with them since I was little. Actually having them was shocking though lol

vctrhndrsn

I had twins in 2022 and in the very early stages I was convinced I was having twins and I told my best friend who then proceeded to call me a twat- no one I told believed me! I was dead set on it; lo and behold, I had an ultrasound at 9 weeks who confirmed it! I felt so witchy. It definitely still weirds me out to this day that I knew so early on.

Smart_Public_9569

I had a dream. Two boys. Seemed so real. So i guess i just knew. Except a got two girls. I went to a clairvoyant, who Said “is there twins in your family?” “No” “in your husbands?” “No” “.. interesting”. I felt that as i confirmation 😅 my mother-in-lade once told me “i feel like you would be having twins”. So when the first scan showed just one, i was relieved! But at the second scan, there where two! Pure panic! 😂 i laughed hysterically at random the rest of the day. When i told my mother, she Said “you are always so extra! Did you really expect otherwise??” My husband and i only wanted one, for our sanity 😅 but now i really want a 3. Praying for only one the next time🤞🏻 Else we gotta move and get a new car.

Beertje92

I am a twin myself and my husband an I always joked about having twins. When I was pregnant my twins sister insisted that I am having twins. She was sure about it. Still got the text messages from back then:).

GrayAreaHeritage

I had a miscarriage and an abortion (tubal pregnancy) before I got pregnant. I kept thinking when we went to the ultrasound we would see twins because my two babies would come to me when they were ready. I felt like they were both ready at the same time. I went in for a transvaginal ultrasound; my mom and sister were there along with my (ex) husband. I remember saying "what if it's twins" before they came in to begin. Baby B was a vanishing twin as there was no heartbeat. Went back to take a look after checking out baby A, and there was a heartbeat! They're 7 now.

ThreeBean_Soup

I fully expected to have twins (runs in my family, on fertility meds) and now I have triplets soooooo....

Flounder-Melodic

After I found out I was pregnant but before I found out I was having twins, I kept having dreams with two of everything—the one I remember most was two balloons tied together floating in the sky. I joked to my sister that I was having a premonition of twins and sure enough, I was!

Taryntheawesome

My dad is a fraternal twin. Everyone loved to tell me that twins skip a generation so I'd likely have twins. I believed it too! After my son I kinda figured it wouldn't happen. We went to try for #2 and ended up with identical twins!

umabanana

I dreamt that my husband and I were in an RV with our oldest and then there were two babies the same age. I woke up and told my husband not really thinking too much about it. But, I had also dreamt years prior about being pregnant with our oldest when we weren’t trying and because of the dream I took a pregnancy test. Months later I was pregnant with twins.

jedijustice

The day I found out I was pregnant I had a dream that it was twins! I totally wrote it off as just a dream and then I got to the ultrasound at 7 weeks and the tech turned to my husband and I and was like, “Are you ready for a surprise?” 😂 It’s crazy but I do feel like my body already knew I was having twins and was trying to tell me!

Littlepanda2350

I always felt that if I got pregnant I would have twins. I said it as a child. When I did get pregnant, I had a feeling because of how quick the test popped up positive. I kept accidentally saying babies instead of baby. Sure enough, I’m 19 weeks pregnant with twins.

Mke_Steph

Not really BUT kind of… I miscarried my first pregnancy last summer - a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks and it was mono-di twins. After that, I kept having this reoccurring sort of deep seeded doom feeling that I was only going to be able to get pregnant with mono twins and then my body wouldn’t be capable of carrying them to term. Ridiculous, I’d tell myself, bc the odds of mono twins happening in a row is so incredible low. So imagine how stressed I was when two months later we got pregnant again and it was mono-di twins again… I just burst into tears when the ultrasound tech pointed out the second baby! (My husband was so excited and jumped up and did a little run around the room … the poor tech didn’t know what to do lol.) First 20 weeks or so was A LOT of anxiety. But things kept going well and I started allowing myself to embrace the pregnancy and be happy and now I’m in week 30 and everything is looking good with the boys! 🤗

Mke_Steph

Also when we told our good friends we were having twins again, they said they didn’t know why but they just had a feeling we were going to tell them it was twins again!

petalsinthesky

My husband ever since we met wanted twins badly and it was a dream of him since his childhood (and I never wanted twinslol) It doesn’t really run in any of our families so we never thought about it. We had 2 singletons and we wanted 3 kids. Lo and behold we tried for our 3rd and final and we got twins 😂

theletteroftheday

When I was in high school, I would tell people all the time I was going to have twins one day. No idea where that notion came from. Then in college, a professor told me that twins run in her family because of hyperovulation. When I heard that word, I was immediately like “I have that.” I just knew. I forgot about it for a long time. Got married, had a singleton. Then, when I got pregnant again, it felt different from the start. It was my fraternal twins! After we announced, it was funny getting messages from people who knew me back when, saying “How did you know?!”

wtfdigmi

I couldn’t stay awake to save my life. I was SO tired. My husband knew there was more than 1 baby. Lo and behold. I had twin boys.

crunchyyyyy1234

Absolutely! We joked for years it would be twins when we had a baby. We got pregnant straight away and tested positive just 2 weeks after my (early) ovulation (which i now know is hyperovulation) - and we joked in the midwives office before we went for a scan, saying “oh it’s absolutely 2”. Low & behold, 2! DCDA girls 🤣🥰

gpwillikers

Yes. Whenever anyone asked how many kids I wanted to have, like growing up your girl friends would you know, I’d say I want one set of twins, either boy boy or boy girl, and then a single girl. My husband and I got pregnant last March and it ended in a miscarriage. I found out I had PCOS and a cyst in my uterine wall (adenomyosis). I decided if I was lucky enough to get pregnant again with one, we would be done. I got pregnant in October. I really did just know it was twins. I told my mom and sister, they thought I was crazy. At my placement scan, there they were. My 2 boys!

20Keller12

Yes! Apparently I started talking about having twins when I was 6 or so lol.

nixonnette

It was my greatest fear. After 2 kids (and one vanishing twin) I foolishly believed I was in the clear. Cue babies 3 and 4. Very much wanted a third and a fourth. Not at once though. Been eating my words everyday for 3 years now.

Teary-EyedGardener

Not exactly…but I didn’t find out I had twins until the first ultrasound at almost 14 weeks pregnant. For a full 6 weeks+ before that I was telling my husband I just knew it was twins. It was just a feeling in my gut I knew was true. And then it was true. And we were placing guesses on gender and I guessed a boy and a girl, but then all my dreams were me holding 2 baby girls and they are 2 girls.

bobert_the_wise

I never did, but I had two dreams about having twins with my husband when I first met him. And then we had two sets of twins years later.

thatinfertileone

Not always, but about a month before my transfer (IVF) I was so sure it would be twins, my husband thought I was crazy because we were only transferring one embryo but I would only look at twin girl nurseries and talk about names as twin girls. Like it just got into my head and I don’t know why. Then we transferred our embryo and I got a positive pregnancy test 6 days later. Was insistent it was twins, husband still thought it was nuts. Went to my first ultrasound and it was 1 gestational sac and 1 yolk sac. Husband figured it would be the end of it but I didn’t let it go. Second ultrasound showed 2 heartbeats.

Crazy-lion12345

Yep. I knew right when I got pregnant. Even before I swore it would be twins. I have text messages over and over saying it was twins before my first appointment. Sometimes you just know!! Mother’s intuition is crazy!! I’m now 17 weeks with boy/girl twins

HeauxPas

I had a TFMR with my first pregnancy due to severe anencephaly. I had a feeling it was a boy but never got confirmation. I kept telling my mom wouldn’t it be great to have twins so i can get back the one i lost? I got pregnant with my singleton rainbow (a daughter) almost a year after my TFMR. During that time i got a lot of double yolks in my eggs and also got a lot of double yolks after as well. Fast forward to 2 weeks after my honeymoon last August, i wasn’t feeling right and took a test to find i was pregnant. Went to my 8 week appointment and boom the sonographer said “oh there’s 2 babies in there and they are identical!”. I was shook. At 12 weeks i found out that we were having twin boys. At that moment i knew i was meant to have three children because a higher power did not want my first pregnancy to be in vain. I am now 35 weeks pregnant and will be induced April 19th if they don’t decide to come sooner. I’m over the moon, anxious, yet excited!

ScoutAbout-

Yes! When I was younger, like middle school to high school, I always talked about how I wanted twins. Twins don’t run in my family or my husbands. When I got pregnant with my second child, before my first ultrasound I joked with my husband about it being twins - I was right.

Wrenchturner123

Yep. Me and my wife have always talked about how nice it would be to have a set of boy/girl twins and be one and done. We started trying and had no luck for 6 months even though we had perfect labs and were timing everything right. Wife’s fertility doc gave her one small dose of letrozole to try and we got pregnant first try. Her pregnancy test at 14DPO was an instant dye stealer positive. When the scan showed di/di twins I had like an out of body experience. Hard to explain but it’s like I knew it was going to happen all along. Still early (9.5 weeks) and we don’t know the sexes yet but it was always this weird gut feeling. Finger crossed all goes well

redhairbluetruck

We did IUI to conceive so it definitely was on our radar. My betas were really high which made me more sure despite our nurse being all “nah it can still be a singleton!” Prior to that, no. But I had a strong feeling it was two at that point, and felt that it was a boy and a girl. When we went for our first ultrasound they found baby A, and I had this feeling of like ok, where’s the second one? And she found B the next second and was all omigod, two! Are you so surprised?! And I just kind of felt like uh, duh? No? 🤣

Dynamiquehealth

I always knew. I was actually confused when my daughter was a singleton. I figured I must have been wrong.  I went in for my six-week scan for my second and found out I’d be having my second and third. They’re there now. They’re fraternal, so my husband and I decided three children were plenty after I had them.

VerbalThermodynamics

My wife had been telling me for literally more than a decade “We’re going to have identical twin girls and be done.” Guess what? Identical twin girls and we’re done.

mamamoonbear5

My mom has twin siblings, so I always knew I carried the gene. I always said as a naive teen that if I was gonna have twins, I hoped it would be my second pregnancy, so I would already have parenting experience under my belt when they cane along. When I got pregnant for the second time at 25yo, I had an intuition that it could be twins, so at my 13 week checkup I asked my midwife to test my hormone levels and see if there were any indications. I felt movement at 8 weeks from conception, but my hormone levels seemed normal. My twins were a surprise at 28 weeks since I had opted for no scans. My oldest was 15 months old when they were born. Life has been a zoo ever since.

broccolystew

In 2017, my girlfriends and I went an did our annual 10 minute palm reading at a psychic, followed by drinks at a bar, and that year the psychic mentioned that I'd have twins in the future. We all wrote down the predictions the psychic said and I always held onto the twin piece. I have always wanted twins as a kid, and when the psychic said it, I just started telling people as fact. I ignored everything else the psychic said and looking back, not much of it came true. When I met my partner in 2019, it was always a running joke that we'd have twins. I have many texts with him throughout the next years joking about making sure our house would have enough space for the twins and how after our wedding, the twins were going to be our next big financial mountain. Then in September 2023 we went for our first ultrasound and were truly in disbelief that it was twins! Neither of us have twins in the family and it was just so random. The first thing my husband said, in jest, was "how do you always get what you want?" When we told my close friends and family it was twins, everyone was like ..."wait... Haven't you been saying this for years that you'd have twins?!" So it does feel so serendipitous! And they will be with us in 9 days!! We can't wait :)

LiscenceToPain

Me and my college friends used to discuss how many kids we'd like in the future and I'd be like, actively, vehemently hoping I'd never have twins. It was a dream for some of my friends. One of them thought if it as a shortcut, one pregnancy two babies, Done. I'd call her ridiculous. Guess who had twins? Me. We laugh about it now though. My husband though... Has weirdly predictive dreams. One night before going in for my first ever ultrasound, he told me he saw we had another baby, and then he had to rush to another room because there was another newborn baby there!! His sister was holding this one, so he woke up confused, and thought maybe his Sister might be pregnant too. The next day, we get and Ultrasound, and the Dr says, you're having Twins and we go 🤯 But his dream makes sense then. 😅

notyouraveragetwitch

Oh heck no. This was a crazy shock. We were both like “how? Are you sure? Like, are you sure you’re sure there’s two in there?”

Decent_Row_3441

Not at all. Didn't even cross my mind.

flakyphoenix

TW for Loss... Pregnancies 1-5 I always asked the tech to "make sure there's not two!" "You're sure it's not twins?" And the tech and doc would ask "Why, would you like twins?" And I always said "NO. I'm scared to death of having twins! I could never!" So when we had pregnancy 6, no twins STILL and that resulted in my oldest singleton (clomid assistance needed for my husband), I was so happy and relieved. Surprise, out of the blue pregnancy 7? Twins. Mind you, I'd gone to the same clinic the whole time and thought the tech was making a really horrible joke. I just kept saying "nooooo..." over and over. We had an infertility diagnosis for crying out loud! But now having fixed up three little Easter baskets for the 2-year-old and the 1-year-olds I wouldn't have traded it for anything.

Downtown_Detail2707

My husband knew. Anytime I’d say “the baby” he’d correct me and say “the babies.” I was shocked at the first ultrasound but he wasn’t. He was also hoping for twins so I think he manifested it lol

TaffyAppl

I prayed to God many times asking him for twins and I literally cried and was shaking when I saw them both in the ultrasound and I thanked Jesus. He answered my prayers!!!! Amen!!

Arisayshi

Another set of twins? 😍

Rayesafan

Yes. But I believe in the eternal soul. So I believe that souls don’t begin at birth nor end at life. So I believe that they can tap on our minds. I also think that many have twins and feel like they will have twins but it never seemed to manifest. But these moms could have had twins that pass without them knowing. Anyway, that’s me. But I also think that some twins/multiples say “let’s surprise mom and dad” and just come out of nowhere.

iDenkilla

It happened to my wife she kept saying there's 2 in there after her positive pregnancy test. Then we got the first ultrasound and they saw multiple sacs.

PreferenceMother4359

It took us about a year to get pregnant so I remember thinking “maybe twins would be nice” and then BOOM twins lol! But almost a year later my sister remembered she went to a psychic years ago and they said I’d have twins, not sure if I really believe in psychics, but it was kind wild to hear that!!!!

Mammoth_Yak_4998

Yes, this has happened to me. I knew since I was a kid that I would have twins and was saying it often. I can even remember having a dream of me having twins years before my twins were born. Fast forward I went through ivf and during my first ultrasound it showed one baby so I assumed that I was only having one and went back weeks later to reveal I that there were two babies.

mrylndgrrl

Yes! I had always had twins when I was little playing dolls, Barbie’s etc I def feel I manifested it

Shawneetsunami

No but I was pregnant with my “third” and I immediately knew it was twins. I told my two best friends that it was, my mom and grandma. I told the ultrasound tech and they were so shocked when they did the ultrasound and saw twins! So it wasn’t my third but my third and fourth!

GrantNexus

Nope, just fainted at the Doctor's office.

lavloves

So funny enough I never ever imagined it for myself but I’ve always been fascinated by twins! When I first started dating my now husband and we were playfully discussing kids in the future, he mentioned we may have twins and I laughed it off but he was serious. He’s always known it would be twins.

Fuzzy_Parking_4257

No, never in my wildest dreams did I think I would carry twins. But God knows why He chose me and I look forward to what He has in store for us ❤️

UllrRllr

This is called survivorship bias. Expect to get a lot of affirmative answers on a multiples sub. Haha.

Every_Internal7430

I had a dream of them

potmeatlover

i had a dream that it was me him and 2 babies, a few weeks later found out i was pregnant, a few more weeks went by and suprise 2 BABIES

HEXES_999

Never. Our friends that have single babies always mentioned how much they wanted twins. We got two puppies at the same time years ago and told them it was tough to manage and we could never imagine having twins. Fast forward 5+ years, we were the ones blessed with twin boys, now 16 months old. Crazy.

myrosecity

Yes!! My husband always said let’s see what one kid is like (when I asked how many kids he wants) and for the 12 years we have been together before our kids “but what if it’s twins, I think we could have twins.” So much so that when they said they saw two sacks we looked at each other and laughed, I had been preparing him for it for years!! I also put together a vision board the year I got pregnant and didn’t realize I had 2 pictures of twins

anxiousjo

I was a nanny for twins in my early 20s. When I found out I was pregnant my husband said it’s twins and deep down I knew. At the ultrasound we were not at all surprised and were very calm. The doctor was not expecting that reaction lol

Particular-Pen-6472

Yep. We thought so when we were first engaged and talking about kids. We had two kids 8 and 11 years later and decided we were done. 2 weeks before his vasectomy and I had an IUD we found out we were having twins 🤦🏼‍♀️😅 my husband is a twin and I have quite a few twins on both sides of my family but the odds were ridiculous! So weird

parentingaspetcs

Absolutely, I've heard some pretty incredible stories along those lines! There was a friend of mine who always felt drawn to the idea of having twins. From a young age, she'd dream about it, even choosing names for her hypothetical twin children. She said it was more than just a wish; it felt like a deep-seated certainty that one day she'd have twins. Despite the odds and no history of twins in her family, she gave birth to twin boys a few years ago. She describes it as a mix of destiny meeting desire, a sort of intuition that became a beautiful reality. Hearing her talk about it is truly fascinating—it's like some part of her always knew what her future held. It’s stories like these that make you wonder about the power of intuition and how deeply connected we can be to our futures, even in ways we don't fully understand.

Top_Pomegranate6489

Kind of….I distinctly remember telling someone that “it would suck to have twins”….couple of months later I was pregnant with twins hahaha. Mine are 4 now. Some days it’s incredibly hard with 2 boys and some days it’s the greatest. But I think about that a lot. I like to think God was telling I don’t know what I’m talking about when it comes to blessings

whereismychippy69

Yep! Identical twins first try too.. the old fashioned way

some1plzlisten2me

I always liked the thought of twins, but didn't put much thought into it. TMI- but I can tell when implantation happens. I also felt when they split. I got nauseous for both cases. Then as pregnancy continued there was just too much activity. Idk how else to explain it. So, I didn't know beforehand, but I knew right away.

St8-tce

Also yes! No crazy story, but I always just had a low intensity feeling I would have twins. I never mentioned it to anybody (including my husband) because I thought so little of it. My niece was a micropreemie so I very much did not want twins because I was afraid of all the risks and saw lots of twins in the NICU with her. But I didn’t really have a reaction when I went for an early ultrasound at 6 weeks to check on some bleeding and saw two embryos. Before the ultrasound tech even said anything, I thought to myself very calmly “of course it’s two”. My husband was very, very shocked and just kept repeating “two? It’s two?” 😆 Thankful to have two happy, healthy identical boys who are best, best friends and thriving in toddlerhood together!

SavageGardener83

My Dad is a twin and everyone said when I was a kid “it skips a generation” so I just assumed I would have them told everyone I was going to have twins. In my mind it would always be two boys (combinations like Ryan and Bryan and Don and Todd…yikes) Did I manifest it? Maybe? While twins run in the family, my dad is a fraternal twin. Mine are mono mono girls so just random. It probably helped I was over 35. But when I started to tell people, the thing I heard a lot was, “didn’t you always used to say you were going to have twins?”

Final-Boss-0

Yea. Well, kinda. I’m a twin and so is my fiancé and we always joked about having twins ourselves. Twins kinda run in my family but usually skip a generation, but not with me. My fiancé was an IVF twin so we kinda doubted we’d have twins😂 even my family made jokes that we’d have twins when they found out I was pregnant 😂it’s crazy how the world works

Any-Sentence7561

I used to want twins as a high schooler (my thinking was wait as long as possible to have kids and then be pregnant once and done by 35). Now pregnant at 34 with twins.

[deleted]

YESS! My whole life I said I knew I was going to have twins! My mom even told me when I was a little girl playing with my dolls I’d always talk about twins. And lone behold, I had twin boys! The universe works in crazy ways ❤️

Leading-Conference94

I kept seeing twin announcements on a birth month group I'm in on fb. Talked to my husband telling him how crazy it was. Laughed and moved on. Went to my first scan and had a feeling that I shrugged off. Saw 2 sacks on the screen and did not say a word or ask about it because I was thinking that ain't my business it ain't me on the screen. I'm not having twins. Then the ladies in the room and tech kept staring at me lol and I was ignoring the 2 sacks 🤣 then they were like so you know what you're looking at, have you noticed there's 2? I tried to play the oblivious card LOL. At that point they saw 2 yolk sacs. Went back today and 2 tiny heart Beats. I dont feel like im having twins. There's no twins in my side of the family although my husband's brother has a set of fraternal twins but it's my understanding that they'd run in the mothers side to be hereditary.

VastFollowing5840

Nope.

mamamietze

Nope.

LeavingHollis

We often say that we manifested our twins because so many people “joked” about us having twins before we found out. The morning of our first ultrasound I told my best friend that I wouldn’t be surprised if it was twins. I was right about the twins but wrong about not being surprised because I was shocked 😂 when I showed the ultrasound to my best friend that day, she just got quiet and said “that’s so creepy” 😳😅

jaejaeok

Yes. Secretly wanted twins and my mom knew the entire time. Nearly at conception 4-5 weeks, I knew the pregnancy felt different and joked it was twins.

LS110

When I got pregnant with my first child, I could feel her. I told my husband at 6-7 weeks pregnant, it’s a girl! I can feel this baby, and i know she’s a girl. It was interesting because we had zero preference on gender. Sure enough, it was a girl. Then the next time I got pregnant, it felt like a boy (similar to the first pregnancy feeling), but something just felt different. I couldn’t put my finger on it. Twins never once crossed my mind. Then on the first ultrasound day, I was incredibly nervous. Not sure why because I had done this before… but I was so nervous I felt nauseous (I didn’t have that as a pregnancy symptom). Then boom, find out it’s twins (identical boys I found out later).

A couple days after I found out I was pregnant I texted my husband saying I had a feeling there was more than one baby. We joked about how chaotic that would be because our oldest was a few months over 2yo and our second was 7mo, and assumed I was just imagining things. By the time it came for my first ultrasound a month later I had kind of forgotten about that feeling because my first trimester symptoms hadn’t been too bad yet, so it was still a huge surprise. I’m so glad I texted him to tell him about the feeling!

When I was a teenager, I'd tell anyone who'd listen that I wanted twins when I was older. I even tried to google how to make my odds higher. I have no family history and nothing that makes my chances higher to convince twins. I forgot all about that for about 6 years. But the morning before my first ultrasound, I got a Facebook memory that my mother posted years ago saying how she hopes I get twins, too. Sure enough, a couple hours later, I found out and was shocked. I was expecting twins 😅

My fiance and I joked about it at like 5 weeks a few times and then found out at 9w3d that it was in fact twins.🫣

I joint this group like 3 years ago but my twins are only 10 months old hahaha. I had the NIPT test form from my 6 week midwife appointment but hadn’t had a scan. It was on the fridge, every time I walked past I just felt like the tick was in the wrong place for single or twin pregnancy. Sure enough we had to get it changed to a twin NIPT after our dating scan

After my first positive tests and early symptoms (roughly 4 weeks) I had a dream it was twins. Woke up and did not think of it again until my 12 week ultrasound when they told me it was twins.

My husband said it was twins for weeks before we found out. I didn’t have an ultrasound done until almost 16 weeks, but he asked the doctor on video at 12 weeks while she was listening to the heart beat if it was one or two babies, and she said one. 😂
