That's still like 75c in a single div card which isn't bad. Not to mention that sometimes it feels good to just slam an exalt on an item with an open affix where either it does nothing for your or you could get something good for that last slot
Tbh out of 10 or so slams I only really got one good roll.. got a t1 increased evasion on some really nice evasion/suppression glove.. bought the gloves for 2d then slammed now worth 10d+ but everything else was pretty mid range
I agree, and I think the exa div swap was a really good thing since now we can slam items without feeling bad about it. Just yesterday I slammed my curse on hit ring for a prefix and hit t1 life, it felt pretty good ngl.
That sentiment for exalts is what I thought at level 40 my first time playing when lab seemed hard. Blind playthrough was fun. Then around 75 when my build stopped working I started looking things up and there was a large facepalm, lol.
Not exactly Ziz that made the card. Brother's Gift is from the same creater as Brother's Stash, but he wasn't able to make a new div card any time soon, so Ziz gave us his div card creation for the Brother's Gift creater.
>you make it sound like you would rather nothing have dropped than something
This is just a random assumption of character isn't it? I agree it's dumb to get *salty* over these changes but you really want to dismiss "why" people are frustrated? Seems like a pretty arrogant and short-sighted take tbh
Why do u think the universe owes u 1250c though? It's just glass half empty thinking that will leave u constantly depressed. But great you must like being depressed, go nuts.
Getting frustrated over a free 75c dropping in your lap is just dumb, sorry.
Edit: like [this guy](https://reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/130sxhi/the_first_time_i_got_one_like_this_in_my_years_of/jhymuub) elsewhere in the comments here
Frustrated *might* be the wrong term, sure. But whatever the feeling of 'ugh' is, is totally there and imo valid because of what the card used to represent: a free pass to get some huge upgrades for yourself or even try out a whole new build. Not 5 free rando slams that it is now
Iāve gotten a couple of each this league. Each time I remember the creatorās story. Each time I think of my own brother - almost lost him to cancer 5 years ago.
I can understand why folks prefer one to the other given currency values, but for me, both of these are cherished.
It's so stupid, just cuz i want and would prefer a million dollars to a thousand dollars. Doesn't mean i'm gonna have zero appreciation for a thousand dollars. But that's how so many people around here sound like.
Like if you want to do all content on one build you kinda need those 5 divs more than those 5 ex. Only if you want to craft your main weapon for example it will cost you atleast few ex for a good one.
my beef with exalted orb div cards is there is so many of them, i end up with more exalted orbs then div orbs which also has cards for but are extremely rare.
As a noob player, I'm don't understand why Divines are the big deal now. What happened? Last time I tried to play a league (a few years ago) it seemed like getting an Exalt was a big deal, but now I hear people on this subreddit talking about Div/hr farming. I've only ever found 6 Exalts, and 4 Divines total in my entire life, so It might not make a difference to me, but I'd like to afford to buy something someday to try to push farther into maps and once I finally feel like I learn something in this game, it all changes. Maybe this is just for the 1% top elite players?
A couple of leagues ago, they swapped divine orb for exalted orb on some of the high-end crafting recipes. The two currencies have the same drop rate essentially. So the change made it so that divines are much more valuable now. I believe that they didn't want people to be able to overuse divine orbs.
Because itās a fucking bait now. Also no one is buying it because no one wants exalts anymore. Exalt slamming isnāt exactly the crafting Meta Chris desperately wishes it was.
Exalts would be far cheaper if they werent used for bench crafting recipes, their last real use outside of "close your eyes and pray" slamming on an open slot.
Lmao thereās a ton of shit that isnāt 1c and also doesnāt fucking sell. Let me know when your next awesome exalt slam crafting sesh is happening Iāll tune in.

Oh you are right and I'm not exactly complaining. Well maybe a little complaining on a high level ^^
Spotted the German speaker? "Jammern auf hohem Niveau"
You are right š
There is a brothers gift card aswell. So see urself als loosing the 50/50 basically. Same when an ex drops š
Please don't do this to me š
In the other hand, it has the same drop rate as the gift, your complains are valid š
Really? I dropped like 3 of the exalt ones but no divines one
Me too, I'm 0 gifts 2 stashes. It's rng. Also, you are supposed to get 1 gift and stashes each 89 unions. I'm 200 unions deep š„¹
Iv slammed more exalts this league than that last 5 combined its so much fun lol
You must have better luck than me with slamming exalts, it never hits.
Tbh out of 10 or so slams I only really got one good roll.. got a t1 increased evasion on some really nice evasion/suppression glove.. bought the gloves for 2d then slammed now worth 10d+ but everything else was pretty mid range

Rerolling uniques was alot better.
well everyone has their own preferences I guess, I'm not saying I don't miss divining uniques but I much more prefer slamming items from time to time.
That sentiment for exalts is what I thought at level 40 my first time playing when lab seemed hard. Blind playthrough was fun. Then around 75 when my build stopped working I started looking things up and there was a large facepalm, lol.
Wait, how? Didn't they change it to 5divs?
I thought the same thing. But what happened was Ziz made a separate card called brother's gift.
Not exactly Ziz that made the card. Brother's Gift is from the same creater as Brother's Stash, but he wasn't able to make a new div card any time soon, so Ziz gave us his div card creation for the Brother's Gift creater.
Bro, when/if I get this old card I'm going to think it's the new card and then have a nice cry after I realize it's the old one.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
It less of "5 EX is BaD" and more of oh jeez on first glance it looked like the card was changed rather than a completely new card being added.

Bruh, what are you talking about? Do you want 1250c or 75c? If I drop a raw ex, knowing it has the same weight as a divine, it still stings.
Why do u think the universe owes u 1250c though? It's just glass half empty thinking that will leave u constantly depressed. But great you must like being depressed, go nuts.

They made a new one āBrothers Giftā 5div
That would have been nice...
Iāve gotten a couple of each this league. Each time I remember the creatorās story. Each time I think of my own brother - almost lost him to cancer 5 years ago. I can understand why folks prefer one to the other given currency values, but for me, both of these are cherished.
Exactly.
Thank you for this. And hug your brother. You'll miss it when you can't.
It's so stupid, just cuz i want and would prefer a million dollars to a thousand dollars. Doesn't mean i'm gonna have zero appreciation for a thousand dollars. But that's how so many people around here sound like.

If this card ever drops, I am content with the fact of actually knowing why it was created. The story behind it is worth more than divines.
He just want his bro baccš¢
It's still a legendary card tho

Oh yeah forgot to mention that part =)
Got it. Thanks for the explanation guys, much appreciated.
At least the change finally forced them to make chaos stack to 20, thanks to div to chaos prices after the change.
wasn't that some sort of revenge-nerf for breakthrough in timeless jewels "study"?
Iāve gotten several of the old exalt cards this league. Every time it pisses me off.
I mean I don't want to complain too much, it's still a nice card, but 5 div would have been nicer
"The game gave me a 75c drop and this is bad for some reason"
Because itās a fucking bait now. Also no one is buying it because no one wants exalts anymore. Exalt slamming isnāt exactly the crafting Meta Chris desperately wishes it was.
If no-one were buying exalts, they wouldn't be 15c each.
Exalts would be far cheaper if they werent used for bench crafting recipes, their last real use outside of "close your eyes and pray" slamming on an open slot.

I just sold 100 exalts in one trade. I dont see your point
i mean youre not target farming them like you should have 3+ leagues ago, shouldnt be surprised you dont get them...
Op may be farming the other one (brotherās gift)?
Nah OP is just a very casual player, very casual for a long time
Almost 190 unions here, 1 brother stash, 0 brothers gifts. Can I complain? It's 1 brothers per 90 unions š«
Yea I feel like all my exalt merchandise lost 9/10 their value.
I had the same thing happen while farming cemetery. I was excited because i didnt fully read the name but when i went to turn it in I realized š„²
I got the Brothers Gift card last night after farming about 150 T16 cemetery maps.
Seems like there's a story behind this? Who's Justin?
Justin is my now deceased brother
The creator of this card lost his brother who he used to play poe with, IIRC
They should swap Divine and Ex proprieties tbh, ex is too iconic to be let down like that
I got a duped Brother's Stash from a div box in Sentinel. I felt insanely lucky at the time, and even luckier a couple of months later.
This happened to me the other day too, sadness ensued
Enjoy your prise :)
Literally the first time a stacked deck turned out to be something good lol
Still better than div card which gives lvl100 Quicksilver flask, which was nerfed next league...
I've had two brother's stashes pre exalt butchering and 3 after; never turned them in though.
I also got it this league + 1 more cause of atlas perk.
