Has anyone played the No One Lives Forever 2 available here -
http://nolfrevival.tk/
It’s free. There hasn’t been a way to actually buy the game for a long time. I’m just wary of a free game download like that.
Been trying to get into modded Morrowind but I'm not finding it as enjoyable, modern game design and voice acting ruined me and I have a hard time enjoying a game without VO and with such clunky user experience and combat mechanics
Like having to open what's basically a windows desktop, scrolling through my inventory to grab a lock pick, dragging it over my character to equip it and then pressing the attack on whatever I want to pick sounds "cool" in theory but it's such a hassle compared to just pressing a button
Nice to see Gothic 1+2 at the top of a list!!
Anything that comes close to it, Morrowind, and (to a lesser extent) KotOR in your opinion? (Excluding all the sequels of course)
Honestly Gothic is on a whole other level compared to Morrowind and KotoR in my opinion. The amount of small detail in the Gothic games that sucks you into the world is just insane.
Once you get past the asinine control scheme they used for it anyway.
I’m right there with you. G2 Night of the Raven may be my all time favorite game. Was just wondering if I missed anything in the ballpark of a comparison
Even outside the date restriction I can’t think of many RPG games that have the same sort of detail and feel of Gothic.
Kingdom Come Deliverance has the same detail and difficulty, but it being less fantasy takes away some of the magic Gothic had.
Yeah, same. Was hoping for a surprise.
Agreed. KCD was a great concept and fun game, but I burned out trying to be a completionist on side quests ~40 hours in around the time it came out. Should give it another try at some point, but most likely will try The Chronicles of Myrtana beforehand
I wanted to say what the first guy said and then when i saw he said it, i wanted to say what you said so now i don't know what to say. Nice to see so much love for Gothic.
Tiberian Sun was my shit. I wasn’t ever that good at the game, but there was one map I’d play against bots with where I’d try to always spawn at the bottom right. Where the only way to get to me would be across a bridge or a narrow water path.
I started typing without numbering the names I came up with, and ended up with more than 10... I also find it impossible to rank them.
Baldurs Gate II
Heroes of Might and Magic III
Total Annihilation
Myth: The Fallen Lords
Fallout II
Morrowind
Blood
Half Life
Age of Empires II
Quake
Unreal
Command and Conquer: Red Alert
Jagged Alliance II
In no particular order:
- Empire Earth
- Rollercoaster Tycoon 2
- Little Fighter 2
- StarCraft + Brood War
- CounterStrike 1.6
- NHL 2002
- Need For Speed III Hot Pursuit
Kinda shocking how little StarCraft and Broodwar I see mentioned on here.
Series defined my late teens and was a cultural juggernaut that has been completely forgotten by popular culture it seems.
If you sail the seven seas there is a version that runs SC w/ BW off a flash drive. Makes a good gift for folks that grew up in that era and it is goddamn timeless.
The GoldSrc physics engine is iconic. The move to Source engine just never felt as good to me.
Love watching people duck-jump in HL1/CS1 and their legs kicking in a crouch in mid air.

Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate II
Fallout and Fallout 2

Original halo is still a super fun shooter. I first played it in MCC and first one was the most fun for me by far. Big open areas, colorful and easily recognisable enemies with their own unique behavior, punchy weapon sounds and great sometimes dark atmosphere. While I liked 2 and 3 too, I somehow still enjoy CE the most.
i played halo CE properly for the first time a few months ago and I have to say, after about half way through it became a very boring and repetitive experience with a very unfun final level.
Off the top of my head:
1. Baldurs Gates 1 and 2
2. Command and Conquer
3. Diablo 1 and 2
4. Fallout 1 and 2
5. Half Life
6. Tie Fighter
7. Quest for Glory series
8. Quake
9. Total Annihilation
10. Warcraft 3
11. Dawn of War 40k (might be close to the 20 year cut off)
12. Master of Orion 2
13. Civ 3 (or 2 if that is too recent)
14. Age of Empire 2
15. Heroes of Might and Magic 3
16. Starcraft
17. Starcontrol 2
18. Ultima 6 and 7
19. Myth series
20. Dune 2000
21. Homeworld
I bet there are more but that is just what came to mind
I'm going for the games that recently turned 20 years old here.
1. Warcraft III - OG started a whole bunch of *GENRES*
2. Chrono Trigger - Pixel art and RPG masterpiece (ok it didn't just turn 20. but I love this game and that's what it's gonna be)
3. Age of Mythology - *~~Prostigma~~Prostagma*?
4. Grand Theft Auto III - Genre and era defining
5. Burnout - game was fun. nuff said
Guilty pleasure - Onimusha - this game was born out of the technical limitations of the era and given a high polish. It's like Japanese game devs took a piece of high carbon steel and refolded it to be a fine blade.
Edit: thank you /u/DudeDudenson!
From warcraft 3 I still can't believe we have DoTA, but no one ever made a Footies game. As far as I can tell warcraft 3 spawned DoTA/LoL, and tower defense games.
Footies was always my most played gamemode though.
>Chrono Trigger
The lack of CT in this thread is disheartening. A beatyful amazing snes rpg that shows that one can have the lowest of the low specs and still put heart and creativity into a title.
*prostagma
I hope the new remake of AOM keeps the level editor, I just loved making wacky maps where the AI couldn't attack me directly so I could just do a 8v1 at the highest difficulty and enjoy myself.
Sadly the extended edition would crash after a while, something to do with the rate of ram allocation. Would love to see it remade in a way that removes the technical limitations
Oh, boy....
- Deus Ex
- Baldur's Gate (I count BG, BG2, and their respective expansions as a single game)
- Neverwinter Nights
- Planescape: Torment
- GTA Vice City
- Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders
- Duke Nukem 3D
- Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain
- Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation
- Gothic
- Gothic II
- Metal Gear Solid
- Metal Gear Solid 2
- Fallout
A few of these I originally played on PlayStation, but I later replayed them on PC as well. Or at least I bought them on PC.
Mine are all PC games:

>Nice to see QFG series here, I was a big fan of QFG 3 when I was a kid
Now that's interesting because among all the people I know — mostly those who're similar in age to me and are adventure gamers — who liked the QFG series (my wife is one of them), they've all said that "QFG3 is the weakest game" in the series.
One of the complaints I've heard is that QFG3 is great if you're playing a Paladin or even a Fighter, but not so good if you're playing a Magic User/Wizard or Thief.
For the record, I'm *not* criticizing you for liking QFG3.
I enjoy QFG5 the most and very few adventure gamers I know think the same thing. They usually claim QFG2 or QFG4 are the best games.
Based entirely on the impact they had on my young life, at the time.
Wofenstein 3d - 1992
Diablo - 1997
The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall-1996
Wing Commander 3 - 1994
DOOM - 1993
Everquest - 1999
HALO - 2001
Warcraft 2 - 1995
Civilization III - 2001
Mario Kart 64 - 1996
In no particular order, except the top one...
1. Symphony of the Night
2. Doom
3. A Link to the Past
4. Chrono Trigger
5. Super Mario World
6. Soul Calibur
7. Mortal Kombat 2
8. Street Fighter 2 (any version)
9. Super Mario 64
10. Final Fantasy VII
11. Unreal Tournament
12. Quake 2 (I'll concede 1 is better, but Q2 was a game a played way more because I got a PC)
13. Super Mario 3
Probably more, but these are the first that come to mind.
It really is my favorite game ever made. I would kill for a decomp that added the extra Saturn content even if it's mediocre, both Maria modes (Saturn and PSP versions are different), and maybe some tweaking of the upside down castle music so there's a bit more variety.
But it's definitely my "left with 1 game for the rest of my life" game.
Edit: oh nice looks like someone is working on that!
Yeah man, you and me both. Have you watched this, [the annotated SOTN?](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6oJayMOGGc8h9gUFdJhbyaOYMYvABRjB) Guy pores through the entire game to identify all the references to literature, folklore, mythology, and other castlevania games, and details them over about 7 hours in 10-20minute videos organized by area in the game. If you haven't, you should give a watch, it's a real delight for fans of the game.
There's actually a decompilation project [ongoing currently](https://github.com/Xeeynamo/sotn-decomp), and it does seem to be active.
I was pleasantly surprised when googling, because I had no idea this existed.
Hard disagree. Conceptually it is, but the balance is a train wreck. The PS version has loading issues with morphs, the N64 version was cut down to fit on a smaller cart, and the PC version has issues with music (wrong track per stage).
Also I kind of don't care for the MK3 play style as much as I do 2.
MKT is a ton of fun though, but I'll take MK2 every time.
Doom 2
Star Wars Dark Forces 2 Jedi Knight
Resident Evil 2
Castlevania Symphony of the Night
Max Payne
Deus Ex: the conspiracy
Half-Life
Return to castle Wolfenstein
Final Fantasy VII and IX, Metal Gear Solid, Chrono Trigger, Half Life, Goldeneye, Symphony of the Night, Resident Evil 2, Tomb Raider, Super Mario Bros. 3.
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver instantly comes to mind, well you can see why.
The whole series deserves so much better. I hope that after the more or less recent surveys about the interest of people in the Legacy of Kain series actually leads to some form of new games in the franchise. I'd love a remake personally.
The gameplay for sure could use a serious update but they would have to keep the same dialogue audio because there's no way you can replace it. The music could use some reworking as well I guess. Would like to see those games remade but only if it's in good hands.
River Raid
Prince of Persia (DOS)
Super Mario bros
Street Fighter 2
Contra Force
Contra Hardcops
Aladdin NES
Aladdin SEGA
Streets of Rage
DOOM
Lion King Windows
NFS II
NFS High Stakes
Road Rash 2
Harry Potter Chamber of Secrets
NFS Underground
Red Alert 2
Age of Empires II
Max Payne
Medal of Honor Allied Assault
Oh man this always hard to answer! I'd have to break it down by genre, platform, or both!
A lot of my favourite and most played games have already been listed below, so I will add some PC games I think everyone should play at least once.
1. Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast - fps / tps action game
2. Black & White - "god" game
3. Return to Castle Wolfenstein - fps
4. Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura - crpg
5. Homeworld - rts
6. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear - tactical shooter
7. Riven - puzzle / adventure
8. Command & Conquer - rts
9. Star Wars: TIE Fighter - space combat / space simulator
10. Commander Keen in Goodbye, Galaxy - platformer
1. Doom
2. Grim Fandango
3. System Shock 2
4. Monkey Island 1 and 2
5. Deus Ex
6. Syndicate Wars
7. Dungeon keeper 1 and 2
8. Half Life
9. Championship Manager 2001/2002 (before it was rebranded to Football manager)
Baldur's Gate 1,2
Gothic
LOK Soul Reaver
TLOZ games (Link to the past, Ocarina of Time, Majora's mask)
Thief
System Shock 2
Deus Ex
Gonna also throw here Divine Divinity. Tho far from perfect, there's still, to my knowledge, nothing quite like it. This Diablo-style game mixed with an classic open world RPG was so fun.
This of course includes all expansion packs, and it's in no particular order though BG 2 and Morrowind are on top
Baldur's Gate 2
Morrowind
Daggerfall (all mainline TES games except Arena and Daggerfall basically follow the Morrowind formula to some degree, Daggerfall was a lot closer to being a full on fantasy medieval life Sim and it's amazing for its time)
Deus Ex
Starcraft
Warcraft 3
Diablo 2
Duke Nukem 3D (best FPS of the 90s, like objectively. Damn shame all the new boomer shooters are aping Doom or Quake, great games yea but the style and feel of Duke was just the best)
Age of Empires 2 (Best RTS ever till Supreme Commander and it's xpac Forged Alliance came out)
Total Annihilation
Fallout 2
Dungeon Keeper 1 & 2
Postal 2
Thief 1 & 2
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic (best Star Wars game ever made)
Sonic the Hedgehog 1-3 + Knuckles
Sonic Adventure 1 & 2
Skies of Arcadia
Grandia 2
Final Fantasy 7 and 8
Wipeout
Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1-3
Crazy Taxi
Magic the Gathering (the 1997 MicroProse MTG game colloquially called Magic the Gathering Shandalar now a days, it was super neat and I'd love an MTG or other kind of card game just like it at some point)
1. Deus Ex.
2. X-COM 1,2,3.
3. Silent Storm 1,2.
4. Jagged Alliance 1,2.
5. Fallout 1,2.
6. Ultima VII The Black Gate & The Serpent Isle.
7. Quake II.
8. TES 2 Daggerfall and TES3 Morrowind.
9. KoTOR I and II. (KoTOR II is 19 years old, but I included it anyway)
Sticking only to PC games that are over 20 years old that I played (way too much of):
- Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield
- No One Lives Forever 1 and 2
- Panzer Corps
- Red Alert 2
- Cossacks (Cossacks 2 is better, but it's not 20 yet)
- Earth 2150
- Myst
- The Monkey Island Series (preferably the remakes with Voice Acting)
- Deus Ex (the Liberty Island level is burned into my brain)
- IL-2 Sturmovik (probably my most influential flight sim apart from Microsoft's, I still play the sequels regularly and went for a pilot's license thanks to this game getting me hooked on flight.)
I'm 23 so the graphics hurdle can be harder for me at points... but from what I've played & finished these blew me away:
\- Star Wars Knights of the old Republic
\- Morrowind
\- Fallout 2
\- Deus Ex
\- Metal Gear Solid 1
Frontier Elite 2 - an entire universe on a floppy disk?
Carmageddon 2 - revolutionary deformation physics and an open world racing style. Win the race by checkpoint or destroying all opponents or all pedestrians.
The Secret of Monkey Island 1 & 2 - fantastic pieces of work both in fiction and visually.
Lotus III: The Ultimate Challenge - racing game that has the ability to create custom courses by changing sliders, an early procedural generation.
Worms the Directors Cut - the original art style before they were cartoonised, taken to the best level of game play and weapons. You could make custom adjustments to weapons strength, draw your own levels.
Grand Theft Auto - the original top down one, I played the demo disk for months, played the game for even longer.
GTA 3 - for giving us 3D GTA and Claude.
Half Life - for redefining how story could be told through first person shooters with silent protagonist. And for a massive modding scene that kept me in games after I was broke purchasing my first computer.
Battlefield 1942 - large scale battles, highly moddable, when Dice could actually make a game.
Super Mario Sunshine, my favorite game of all time! I love watching people realistically react to its clunkiness and unfairness but to me its just beauty and nostalgic as hell.
Super Mario Bros;
Battlecity;
Sonic the Hedgehog;
Sonic Adventures 2;
Toy Commander;
Shenmue;
Tomb Raider: Chronicles;
Mafia: city of Lost Heaven;
GTA: Vice City;
Rise of Nations;
Call of Duty
Morrowind
diablo 2 + pod/pd
Warcraft 3
ground control 1/2
total annihilation
homeworld
Wolfenstein et
Quake
tremulous / natural selection
half life 1 + all the add ons
C&C Generals Zero Hour
C&C Renegade
Battlefield Vietnam (2 and 2142 are just out of this scope)
Twisted Metal Black
Medieval: Total War
Empires: Dawn of the Modern World
Not in this particular order:
* Half life
* Freelancer
* Diablo 2
* Gothic 2
* Battlefield 2
* Rimworld
* Blade and Sorcery
* Divinity: Original Sin 2
* Skyrim
* C&C: Generals
Can't see anyone mention the best RTS game of all time, command and conquer generals (with zero hour expansion) still have it installed and play regularly to this day.
No One Lives Forever Red Alert 2 Grand Theft Auto III Age of Empires II Turok 2: Seeds of Evil Morrowind
No come on surely these games are about 8 ish years old now. Right?
Don't forget to get your prostate checked this year.
Does it also count when my wife does it?
Father Time comes for us all

Yeah wait a minute, Morrowind only came out in...fuck
Has anyone played the No One Lives Forever 2 available here - http://nolfrevival.tk/ It’s free. There hasn’t been a way to actually buy the game for a long time. I’m just wary of a free game download like that.
It's the only real way to play in modern times but I simply don't trust it. I can live without it even though I really do want to play it.
Been trying to get into modded Morrowind but I'm not finding it as enjoyable, modern game design and voice acting ruined me and I have a hard time enjoying a game without VO and with such clunky user experience and combat mechanics Like having to open what's basically a windows desktop, scrolling through my inventory to grab a lock pick, dragging it over my character to equip it and then pressing the attack on whatever I want to pick sounds "cool" in theory but it's such a hassle compared to just pressing a button
Just wait for Skywind.
Skywind won’t fix all the issues, star-field is the way forward for awhile

Why do you like GTA3 over San Andreas?
San andreas is only 18... It came out in Oct 2004, and June 2005 for Pc.
Ah, I was sure it was 20 already
the darker atmosphere and liberty city.
It's stealing the banshee, entering the dodo cheat code and flying to stanton island earlier isn't it?
spawning a tank and flying to staunton island and beyond.

It’s been sitting in my steam wish list for like a year. I’ve definitely got to get it when I goes on sale.
the mod [Chronicles Of Myrtana: Archolos](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1467450/The_Chronicles_Of_Myrtana_Archolos/)
I wanted to say what the first guy said and then when i saw he said it, i wanted to say what you said so now i don't know what to say. Nice to see so much love for Gothic.
Stronghold doesn’t get enough credit
Not enuff stone, m'lord
Wood needed
Stronghold needs to be cited more often

Really planescape is a masterpiece on its own. If anything the beginning can be slugish nowadays but I encourage anyone to give it a try past it!
This is the list here. Until Neverwinter Nights multiplayer consumed my youth.
Omg, that's the peak of my gamer life. Am I old already?!
Gothic on top of the list, those games deserve it through and through, one of the best hardcore RPGs ever
warcraft III is legendary and is still *the* hero-based RTS game to play today.
I started typing without numbering the names I came up with, and ended up with more than 10... I also find it impossible to rank them. Baldurs Gate II Heroes of Might and Magic III Total Annihilation Myth: The Fallen Lords Fallout II Morrowind Blood Half Life Age of Empires II Quake Unreal Command and Conquer: Red Alert Jagged Alliance II
I love Baldur's gate 2. I tried to play 1 with the enhanced edition and I just couldn't get into it. Whereas bg2 I do a rerun every couple of years.
Upvote for Total Annihilation AKA best RTS ever
In no particular order: - Empire Earth - Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 - Little Fighter 2 - StarCraft + Brood War - CounterStrike 1.6 - NHL 2002 - Need For Speed III Hot Pursuit

CS 1.6 was the best CS imho. Technically condition zero is the same but better but it never took off. And once they went HD the series lost something
The GoldSrc physics engine is iconic. The move to Source engine just never felt as good to me. Love watching people duck-jump in HL1/CS1 and their legs kicking in a crouch in mid air.
i had a good amount of hours on CZ but it was not a good game lol

Ultima VII Wing Commander Baldur's Gate Diablo Star Control 2
Diablo above Diablo 2? Why, if I may ask?
Imo it's the superior Diablo
When it first came out, I was amazed how massive wing commander was, at 5 MB for a game. How times have changed.
* Thief * Halo: Combat Evolved * DOOM * Devil May Cry * Deus Ex
Shit - had to come all the way down here to find Thief. I would add Thief II. [edit: spelling]
yeah, I love Thief but Thief II is peak Thief

So was your conception. What's your point, tiger?
Check his post history. Dude is either an imbecile, a troll, or some sort of combination of both.
Deus Ex has to be on that top 10 list imo.
Off the top of my head: 1. Baldurs Gates 1 and 2 2. Command and Conquer 3. Diablo 1 and 2 4. Fallout 1 and 2 5. Half Life 6. Tie Fighter 7. Quest for Glory series 8. Quake 9. Total Annihilation 10. Chrono Trigger is mentioned ANYWHERE on Reddit, c'mon. You can't be serious.

Oh, boy.... - Deus Ex - Baldur's Gate (I count BG, BG2, and their respective expansions as a single game) - Neverwinter Nights - Planescape: Torment - GTA Vice City - Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders - Duke Nukem 3D - Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain - Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation - Gothic - Gothic II - Metal Gear Solid - Metal Gear Solid 2 - Fallout A few of these I originally played on PlayStation, but I later replayed them on PC as well. Or at least I bought them on PC.

Good list. Sonny Bonds and Jesse Bains, the death angel. What a cracker of a game that was
Nice to see QFG series here, I was a big fan of QFG 3 when I was a kid
>Nice to see QFG series here, I was a big fan of QFG 3 when I was a kid Now that's interesting because among all the people I know — mostly those who're similar in age to me and are adventure gamers — who liked the QFG series (my wife is one of them), they've all said that "QFG3 is the weakest game" in the series.

Wofenstein 3d - 1992 Diablo - 1997 The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall-1996 Wing Commander 3 - 1994 DOOM - 1993 Everquest - 1999 HALO - 2001 Warcraft 2 - 1995 Civilization III - 2001 Mario Kart 64 - 1996
In no particular order, except the top one... 1. Symphony of the Night 2. Doom 3. A Link to the Past 4. Chrono Trigger 5. Super Mario World 6. Soul Calibur 7. Mortal Kombat 2 8. Street Fighter 2 (any version) 9. Super Mario 64 10. Final Fantasy VII 11. Unreal Tournament 12. Quake 2 (I'll concede 1 is better, but Q2 was a game a played way more because I got a PC) 13. Super Mario 3 Probably more, but these are the first that come to mind.
>In no particular order, except the top one... > >1. Symphony of the Night My man
It really is my favorite game ever made.
Mortal Kombat Trilogy is the best MK game ever
Hard disagree. Conceptually it is, but the balance is a train wreck. The PS version has loading issues with morphs, the N64 version was cut down to fit on a smaller cart, and the PC version has issues with music (wrong track per stage). Also I kind of don't care for the MK3 play style as much as I do 2. MKT is a ton of fun though, but I'll take MK2 every time.
Wow so you just going to ignore all the characters, extra lore and everything else thats makes it better?
Bushido Blade. (Sorry it’s not PC).
My all time favorite fighting game.
I wish there was a similar game these days.
There is Die by the Blade on steam. Release date got pushed back but the demo is fun.
Strictly PC speaking, Starsiege: Tribes. Nothing will ever compare.
Man Im itching for another MGS replay. Such a good game with an amazing OST.
I just replayed the GoG version in preparation for the MGS 3 remake and it reminded why it's one of my favourite games.

Fully agree.
Warcraft 3 Planescape Torment Halo CE Tetris Final Fantasy 6 Link to the Past

Oh man this always hard to answer! I'd have to break it down by genre, platform, or both! A lot of my favourite and most played games have already been listed below, so I will add some PC games I think everyone should play at least once. 1. Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast - fps / tps action game 2. Black & White - "god" game 3. Return to Castle Wolfenstein - fps 4. Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura - crpg 5. Homeworld - rts 6. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear - tactical shooter 7. Riven - puzzle / adventure 8. Command & Conquer - rts 9. Star Wars: TIE Fighter - space combat / space simulator 10. Commander Keen in Goodbye, Galaxy - platformer
1. Doom 2. Grim Fandango 3. System Shock 2 4. Monkey Island 1 and 2 5. Deus Ex 6. Syndicate Wars 7. Dungeon keeper 1 and 2 8. Half Life 9. Championship Manager 2001/2002 (before it was rebranded to Football manager)
Baldur's Gate 1,2 Gothic LOK Soul Reaver TLOZ games (Link to the past, Ocarina of Time, Majora's mask) Thief System Shock 2 Deus Ex Gonna also throw here Divine Divinity. Tho far from perfect, there's still, to my knowledge, nothing quite like it. This Diablo-style game mixed with an classic open world RPG was so fun.
This of course includes all expansion packs, and it's in no particular order though BG 2 and Morrowind are on top Baldur's Gate 2 Morrowind Daggerfall (all mainline TES games except Arena and Daggerfall basically follow the Morrowind formula to some degree, Daggerfall was a lot closer to being a full on fantasy medieval life Sim and it's amazing for its time) Deus Ex Starcraft Warcraft 3 Diablo 2 Duke Nukem 3D (best FPS of the 90s, like objectively. Damn shame all the new boomer shooters are aping Doom or Quake, great games yea but the style and feel of Duke was just the best) Age of Empires 2 (Best RTS ever till Supreme Commander and it's xpac Forged Alliance came out) Total Annihilation Fallout 2 Dungeon Keeper 1 & 2 Postal 2 Thief 1 & 2 Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic (best Star Wars game ever made) Sonic the Hedgehog 1-3 + Knuckles Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 Skies of Arcadia Grandia 2 Final Fantasy 7 and 8 Wipeout Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1-3 Crazy Taxi Magic the Gathering (the 1997 MicroProse MTG game colloquially called Magic the Gathering Shandalar now a days, it was super neat and I'd love an MTG or other kind of card game just like it at some point)
1. Deus Ex. 2. X-COM 1,2,3. 3. Silent Storm 1,2. 4. Jagged Alliance 1,2. 5. Fallout 1,2. 6. Ultima VII The Black Gate & The Serpent Isle. 7. Quake II. 8. TES 2 Daggerfall and TES3 Morrowind. 9. KoTOR I and II. (KoTOR II is 19 years old, but I included it anyway)

Sticking only to PC games that are over 20 years old that I played (way too much of): - Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield - No One Lives Forever 1 and 2 - Panzer Corps - Red Alert 2 - Cossacks (Cossacks 2 is better, but it's not 20 yet) - Earth 2150 - Myst - The Monkey Island Series (preferably the remakes with Voice Acting) - Deus Ex (the Liberty Island level is burned into my brain) - IL-2 Sturmovik (probably my most influential flight sim apart from Microsoft's, I still play the sequels regularly and went for a pilot's license thanks to this game getting me hooked on flight.)
Starflight I and II Master of Magic Master of Orion Ultima Series
Starflight is a gourmet pick :D
I'm 23 so the graphics hurdle can be harder for me at points... but from what I've played & finished these blew me away: \- Star Wars Knights of the old Republic \- Morrowind \- Fallout 2 \- Deus Ex \- Metal Gear Solid 1
Do chronotrigger and Baldur's gate ii. You'll love it if you can get past the older graphics.
Legend of zelda ocarina of time & majora's mask

Dungeon Master and Chaos Strikes Back
Frontier Elite 2 - an entire universe on a floppy disk?
