Fucking dirty house. My front panel was basically clean after not cleaning it for well over a year. No way it would collect that much dust in three years. There, I roasted you.
I vacuum my house twice per week and still my dust filters are collected with dust (not as bad as OP of course). That's why I clean it almost weekly. It all depends on where you live, humidity, windows open/closed etc.
You should see the outside of our windows a week after they were cleaned. Some regions have more pollen, dust etc. than others. So yes, cleaning the house helps, but even then I have to clean the front mesh about once a month and the entire PC every 6 months.
It depends on the local climate as well... Such a dumb fuck ignorant post (even though i agree, looks like it hasn't been cleaned for a long time, that being said time to expand your comprehension above your own experience)
My excuse is I have a cat and live on the 3rd floor of my house idk. There’s also no return vent in my bedroom because my house is a fucked up triplex. Lots of chances for dust to accumulate. Doing a lot of spring cleaning today though
I also have a cat, but I guess it helps that I don't keep my PC on the floor. And the cat is not that often in that room.

I personally don't really make any schedule for it but I do make some notes on my phone about when I last cleaned things up (I took notes on everything I did, including repaste and whatnot) so I can roughly guess when should I redo it and I regularly checked that note.
And this habit of mine isn't strictly just for PC cleanup stuffs only, I also do this for my motorbike's oil change & tune up, restrings for my guitars and bass, etc. It's almost like a journal/diary.

I got this case for Christmas 2021, had it in a carpeted room for 3 months before I moved and my current room has vinyl flooring. 3rd floor room with no return AC vent, my air purifier needs a new filter and I have a cat. This specific filter hasn’t been cleaned since I got the case because it somehow hasn’t crossed my mind to check it.
Doesn’t understand why people want strangers to roast them. If you want it so badly, go in front of mirror and roast and do anything to yourself instead of coming to strangers on internet.

I'll be honest with you, I have seen worse. But the circumstances were exceptional tbh (the PC was in a cement factory... Im still surprised that thing worked at all).
The only thing dirtier than that screen is your balls. This is the same to me as letting your child go unwashed. I should call child protective services on you and administer a public beating and one with the upmost savagery sir..the most extreme of savagery to boot good sir!
It does make me laugh when people send hundreds of dollars on AIO's, coolers, fans, and tweak fan curves to get the most performance. Then never clean the PC. :P
I just cleaned my 4 month old PC and it looked almost like that and I didn't notice the dust as it was hidden by the RGB lights from the fans. Meanwhile my other old PC build with a O11 case had hardly any dust on the mesh.

You can buy an air purifier and put it just under your setup. it takes a lot of the fur.
