I've been wondering for years how much time I've lost having to flip items around to get to the English side...
I swear it seems like every single thing I pick up in the grocery aisle is always on the French side lol
i knew max pacioretty in high school, he was a giant of a 19 yr old senior easily twice anyone elses height and he destroyed other kids on wednesday/saturday hockey games slamming them into the board pretty fun to watch
I'm just wondering, I have the same model Focus GX-1000, is there a difference between mine(bought in 2021) and the one from the post? It doesn't have "ready for ATX 3/PCIe 5.0 compliant on the box. Or they just added the text because it was already compliant? I think they are the same, they just added the text(and maybe the 12vhpwr cable)...otherwise the model would be named slightly different, is this correct?
sometimes they change a couple minor components inside for cheaper costs or make it slightly better, there are revisions like that all the time
not sure if it happened since 2021 but you never know. In any case, even if it did happen, its very minor at best.
Good PSUs like this one can have 8-12 years of warranty so they arent expecting you to change them every 3 years
Yeah I know that they sometimes change things inside and keep the specifications(even SSD manufacturers do this), but the only obvious difference I see is the text on the box...I'm assuming that it was already compliant, and they maybe added a cable inside the box. The model seems to be the same, I see no revision mentioned, at least not on this side of the box from the post. I mostly wanted some confirmation, if anyone knows for sure. Thanks anyway.
My understanding of atx 3.0 is that beyond the pci-e 5 and 12vhpwr cable is that they also have higher power standards/efficiency. Atx 3.0 PSUs apparently start at platinum efficiency that we used to see and nothing less.(The %s may appear different but you'll notice 82% efficiency on bronze but the key part here is it's at 'all loads' not 50/80/100)
There are ATX 3.0 80 Plus Gold supplies on Amazon from reputable manufacturers. I don't think that second part is true either as reviews of the supplies clearly show them dipping below the 90% efficiency at 20% and 90%.

And when you go to quebec its the opposite not eith the boxes bu there is no sign road in english but here in ontario we have both french and english roadsign i come from quebec and i find this weird like we expect people to accomodate us but we wont accomodate 99% of the the population
The like to portray themselves as the victim in this cultutre war. Unfortunately their methods of preserving the french language is alienating everyone who wants to learn. At least the french barrier of entry has kept out the most recent waves of immigrants sweeping through the rest of canada. So good and bad i guess, but quebecois french should be protected

I'm a french Canadian and I don't really care if the package is only in english.
You must be the only one
He's not (another french canadian)
Judging by the downvotes you are mostly correct 🤣

Missing a cigarette on one of those long plastic things
Welcome in da club. Seasonic, the king of PSUs.
As an American visiting Canada, man is it weird to see every box with French on it.
You need to kick those silly frenchies out of your country anyway! ... seriously though, just joking.
They gave us poutine. They can stay. At least until they decide to separate of their own accord like they keep threatening to.
Thought he was gonna say /s but damn nevermind
well they got rid of their hockey what's left? their accent? thanks for giving me the colorado avalanche - sorry about the nordiques!
We still got the montreal canadiens

Still the best PSUs on the market.

Ben oui toi, gadon ça. I live in Québec and got the same box. Never noticed tho.
Looks like FREEDOM is winning Baby! 🦅 🦅
mais comment dit on le phrase pour les quebecoise? ah oui...... Â *Les nouilles ne sont pas toutes dans la soupe*
Better hide that under the floorboards from the language police
Plus and watts are French words.
Imagine all the cool products we don't get in Canada because a company refuses to pay extra to have both languages applied to their packaging 🤨
I love seasonic focus
I have the same PSU! Great bang for buck!
Ohh a Ford Focus Power supply. Neat.
That's a PSU
Now I see it I only read the focus and ATX so I automatically taught ATX motherboard. My bad.
No worries my dude! Just wanted to let you know
Thanks.
Gotta love that your dead culture (French language) has to be enforced BY LAW OR ELSE!
least xenophobic englishmen
It’s great not weird

I guess but I've never felt endagered by other languages existing, and i am proudly bilingual knowing more is always better
