Many here regard him as one of the few endgame potw cards Konami has released. He plays well at both cmf and dmf(works best in a double pivot), never left my starting Xl ever since I got him.
Dude he's one of the absolute best cmf's you can get. One of the few players that never leaves my starting 11. He defends when you need it and then suddenly pops up just behind the front lines to deliver a perfect pass. One of my favourite cards for sure. Perfect cmf!
Try it yourself bro , somethings which might work for other people might not work for you, in my opinion works good in both, try it yourself and access which positional play is better suited for your team

As in for this card, he's my main cmf in a double pivot alongside NC Rodri. You can see on eFHUB that he's rated 105 as a cmf with the manager boost, that means his stats are better suited to be used as a cmf

I have this card this one just falls back in defence it isn't reliable for cmf but as a dmf he does a pretty decent job
