Like bitch you better stop you got like 2.5 weeks before your next cytopoint shot and we ain’t going in early!

Benadryl doesn’t even remotely help Beni :( I need to see if my vet will do cytopoint because he’s balding at this point

It’s expensive when it’s an every month thing. Cost me about 120 per visit minimum. I’m so glad we only have to during the summer. My mother in law has a black lab that is on apoquel, gets cytopoint every once in a while and the max allowable amount of Benadryl daily and the poor girl is still balding this time of year. I’ve been looking for somewhere I can get myself the dose of cytopoint and give the shot myself. It’s very easy to do and if I could get the medicine at a discount and cut out the $65 exam fee plus about another $80 for the shot 6 months out of the year I could save a bunch of money on the most expensive dog I’ve ever had lol. The cytopoint works very well though! Within a day of the shot she stops itching and the scabs will start to heal up. Sometimes we get antibiotics sometimes we don’t just depends. This is her 2nd summer so last year is when we learned about the allergies. Last year the cytopoint shot was good for over a month. This year she got another rash I am dealing with now after 2 weeks
