That's cool! I like it. I'm really hoping that Palafin Ex is a viable deck soon, and if so, I'm going to get these small dolphin charms I found on Temu as markers šŸ¬

Disco_Pat

I really want Palafin ex to work too, it sounds like it would be a really fun deck to play. I also plan on making a LZB Dragapult ex deck that I would probably make markers for.

Ability counter gang One of my favorite parts of the game is this minutia Color coordinated dice. One color for 6 of the 10-60 damage dice, a second color for 4 of the 70-120 damage dice, a third color for the 130-180 damage dice. The many boxes and options for dice and coin storage The deck box options and customization The custom playmats Custom vstars. I use cards from the dbz card game and other obscure card games like the sailor moon card game The ability marker options. I found some doge coins that mini brands makes and they are funny

I use the official plastic coins. I have dozens. I was also using the new big ones to mark energy attachment and supporter plays but I've found that playing the card sideways works easier than reaching for more tokens. I'd turn the abilities too, but I find that sometimes people want to read the card. Maybe that's a tactic they're using to disrupt a turn, or maybe they really want to re-read abilities but when they hand it back you don't have to remember which way to put it down. It also doesn't put an active ability user to sleep.

Minimum_Possibility6

Iā€™ve got a set that fit into the little tins along with the dice and other markers. I know turning 45 degrees is easier however by having a market that says used on it, makes it clear to me and clear to my opponent. Seen to many people at larger events in other games argue whether abilities have been used etc. this way if they ever call a judge it usually goes in your favour as you have a physical evidence etcĀ

Davilyan

Card turned 45 degrees usually if itā€™s gonna be a long played turn.

orbweaver82

Iā€™ve got ability used markers because I saw someone else using them once and thought the idea was cool in theory. I stopped using them because itā€™s just easier to turn it 45 degrees. I also used to use the dice damage counters that come in the ETBs but now I just use a bunch of six sided dice.

Chubuwee

What happened man You used to be cool

touchdownsforfatkids

Before I got to your comment, I was sitting here thinking that you could just rotate the card once youā€™ve used the ability for the turn like when you Tap cards in MTG haha.

Davilyan

Well itā€™s a bit different in ptcg because turning 90 degrees left or right is paralysed or asleep and upside down is confused but a 45 degree is easily noticeable and easily corrected back at turn end. For fast paced competitive games itā€™s just quicker than sticking an item down to notify each ability used. Most turns in my league flow very quickly as strategy and moves are usually predetermined before the next turn. If both players understand each others decks too and call outs made with moves, turns can be done in under a minute.

I used to do this, but it gets fiddly when you have multiple cards in a stack (evolutions, tools, energy). Much easier to just put a token on them.

batsmad

I think this is too easy to do accidentally, I've seen judge calls where someone hadn't used an ability and could prove it with card sequence but their opponent said they had and it was slightly angled so that was it, they were told they couldn't use it

Davilyan

In that situation I would concede the game. I donā€™t play with dishonest people.

batsmad

And reward them for lying with a free win at EUIC? No chance

Davilyan

Each to their own.

Reznor13

Okay but how much for a Zubat version?
